I think Mark's alien outfit actually looks better than what was used in the film! It's no wonder those aliens are cranky - they would never get any sleep with giant egg cup eyes that never close.
In the 50s they could do realism and real looking monsters like today but at that time they preferred things to not look real and cartoony and also restrictions, would scare people too much.

I woke up from what they call "twilight anesthesia" during my pacemaker implant surgery. I was on my back with both arms extended and strapped down on some kind of cross boards. My face was covered and I remember saying to the surgeon "get this off my face or I'm leaving". One of the people in the room said "give him a little more". I passed out again. So, it does happen. For the next two nights I had repeated flashbacks when trying to sleep.
I’ve had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted and I’ve had open heart surgery (4 times, actually). Trust me; it’s a totally different level of anesthesia. You’re not going to wake up during OHS.
@@CornbreadOracle Yeah, I didn't have open heart surgery. The only scar I have is where they opened my skin to do the pacemaker insertion. Open heart surgery does require a deep anesthesia.

Definitely agree on the Luck thing. Unfortunately, I put all my starting SPECIAL points into Perception, Charisma, and Intelligence. Note Memory isn't one of them either. Bummer. 😅
Their eyes bulge because their solar system has a dim sun. Also, no one seems to remember that the protagonist was resurrected from the dead-- which terrified me when I was a kid because I was afraid he would suddenly go berserk and start biting people.

This is your best "put yourself into the movie" bit yet! Amazing job on the costume and blending in with the actor's dialog and expressions! RIP Peter Graves!
This movie creeped me out as a kid way back when. And that episode in the original Outer Limits (you know which one it was), where the villain also had those bugged out eyeballs. Visine should've made a killing in the marketplace.
"Tar Baby 3? HOW MANY TAR BABIES DO THEY HAVE?" - Bill Corbet, "The Film Crew" before they became Rifftrax. Also the Robichet skit they do at the end is priceless.
At 4:17 Mark should've gone 'Air Force? More like I was the only one not there-force' or something similar. Ah well, everyone misses a good pun or bit of wordplay from time to time, otherwise a great vid as always!
I must say the whole ending credits part is just as fun as the show really because the music is fun and I like watching the inside of the VHS tape change colors. Great job to whomever created it!
This answers the question in Teenagers from Space on where they got a giant Lobster! I found it odd that the jet crash burned the pilot to a crisp but only caused Doug to need heart surgery. Egg Carton eyes are a good look for you. Air Force, more like,,,,humm,,,,snub force. that pause was neat.

Bugged-eyed space alien Mark is in my ‘Mark in the Movie’ HoF. I would enjoy seeing you take on the space alien starfish from the 1956 Japanese movie, Warning from Space. It’s a public domain movie with good comedic potential.
One of my favorite, top-ten, sci-fi/horror movies (in the past, 7 decades). Well, maybe 11th.🤔……… Directed by Billy Lee Wilder, who's made a plethora, of these low-budget sci-fi/horror films. Ok. . . Your "insertion" into this one was classic! Best yet! lol!!!
Mark's part was so good, I think he could create a pure comedy movie from old movies that would have me crying for days. It is way too good.
