It is a real shame how Those Jatt Sikhs turned down Ambedkar and 100 million low caste hindus. If Ambedkar became Sikh we could have got our Khalsa Raj back. Jatts are too egotistic with there caste. I belong to the Jatt caste but don't care about caste.

See, one thing you need to know that if ambedkar converted to Sikhism, doesn't mean all the low caste Hindus would convert to Sikhism. He converted to Buddhism, with 3.65 lakh people i.e. all the Dalits didn't convert. So don't think all Dalits would convert to Sikhism if ambedkar converted. That's a big joke, that also at the time when Sikhs themselves are hardcore casteist. Jatts like sandhus have separate gurudwaras.

Khalistan is not geographical area. It's a system which is based on justice ,equality and purity.

Constitution was made for people but if people are corrupt from top to bottom from PM of country to Sweeper then what constitution going to do . ***** Morality is problem , constitution is law enforcement. People still indulge themselves in immoral activities despite being against constitution . Drinking, smoking ,living relationship and eating meat is permissible by constitution but are they moral ?
***** Law enforcement is needed for sure to keep check but morality imposed is immoral itself that's where I disagree . We can educate people ,aware them but can not impose our values on them . Morality is outcome of education and understanding true and that is my whole point . If everyone in India can fix their morality boom problem solved . No body is going to bribe or accept bribe and many things like that .

Wow what your doing quite beautiful and pure. I have been watching your for past few weeks now. The only reason I feel Sikhi didn't spread on a larger is because it was limited to Punjabi Language and region. All the other Major religions does follow the same style hindus for extent is spread within India for people so many different, Islam is spread in so many different countries. Christianity is the major religion as I doesn't have a language barrier. More Hindus will follow and Understand Sikhi If its is spread and Explained in their respective Languages. Good Job mate. +Basics of Sikhi brother I just need to ask you one thing. I am a Hindu whose family roots are in Punjab. Our family calls itself Punjabi Hindu. I love Sikhism and felt a lot of peace on my first ever visit to Harmandar Sahib two years back. As I am born in Hindu faith, I don't have a theoretical understanding of Hinduism but I do have reasonable practical understanding of the religion which makes me love it equally. And since I am an Indian, I love my country and like people to respect India. So basically, I am an Indian who loves his country and I am a Hindu who loves Sikhism. Now when any of it clashes with each other, it hurts me. If Sikhs dislike Hindus, it hurts me. If Hindus dislike Sikhs, it hurts me. If Sikhs dislike India it hurts me as well. For the record, I must tell you that the majority of Hindus love their Sikh brothers and a minor percentage who might have some problems are because of the feeling that Sikhs wanna separate. +Rishi Pathak One of the most peaceful and fruitful times in Punjabs history was when it was ruled by Raja Ranjit Singh, incidently, his rule was called the Sarkar E Khalsa, ie Khalsa Raj. Hindu's and Muslims prospered under the Sikh rule. I dont have to give you theory, the practical history example is already there. Sikhs have no hate towards anyone
+Rishi Pathak Only the Punj Piare can give Naam to an initiated Sikh. Anyone else can chant the mool mantar or read Gurbani to get peace from it. Even on our channel we have a video with the Vaheguru Mantar, but again the mantar is most effective when a Sikh surrenders to the Guru

Trying to disconnect Sikhism from Hinduism is the greatest blow to the expansion of Sikhi. In my ancestral village the eldest Hindu son was always made a Sikh, if I was born in that time I would be Sikh, and proudly so. But I am also a proud Hindu, and have been taught Sikhism is the same. We go to gurdwaras and love the Gurus. But I recently have seen many Khalistani Sikhs, they make fun of Santana Dharma (Hinduism) and try and separate themselves from us. There was always a part of me that wanted to be fully Sikhi, but now it’s gone after meeting such types. I am a proud Hindu, and believe in the greatest religion of all, Santana Dharma ie Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism. If Sikhs embrace their Hindu roots and accept their identity (even while maintaining they are a separate religious tradition) as a Dharmic religion (Santana Dharma) then they will automatically convert Hindus by the millions.

An interesting talk. I agree that many people in western countries do generally have a lot of respect for Sikhs - even though they probably don't know too much about their religious beliefs. So if some good Sikh candidates were to run for parliament, on a good "platform" - I'd say they'd probably get quite a lot of support. And to demonstrate that Sikhs believe in gender equality, they could ensure that some of their candidates were female.
janburn007 that would be awesome! You know, there was an island in British run Hong Kong that was only allowed to have Sikhs on it. It was an ammunition depot and only the Sikhs were trusted to run it. If the British can trust the Sikhs so much, then why not trust them to run the country for the benefit of all its citizens rather than just the wealthy ones

Brother Let me tell you about the Sikhs of my own village in Punjab. They have photos of Sikh Guru's hanging together with baba's, peer's or deities in there homes.
When I explained the Guru is above all these baba's, peer's or deities they replied "They are all Guru Nanak". These are the Sikhs of Punjab where Sikhi was founded. My village also have Amritdhari Sikhs which drink alcohol. These Amritdhari Sikhs know alcohol is wrong but still drink it. These are the preachers of our religion. If we go against these people we're outlaws. This is the state of Indian occupied Punjab.
The only reason we're in this stage is because we lack administration. We lack the control of Punjab. Believe it or not there are Anti-Sikh Indian agencies which are distorting our roots all over India. I personally feel Independent Punjab is a good concept. I understand Hazoor Sahib and Patna Sahib will be separated from Punjab but at this stage we really need this. I believe it could help us to rebuild and reboot. I understand the concept of Raj Karega Khalsa around the world. This can be achieved but only if we progress in the right steps. A possible agenda could be Sikh Referendum for self-determination, placing a political system which shares authorities between both Akal Takhat and a democratic system, Solving our religious and social matters like the Nanashahi Calendar, Dasam Granth, 1984 Sikh genocide, Drugs, Kirpan ban on Planes etc., Educating and preparing preachers which can convey the message in various languages. At this stage we can follow your concept of professing and propagating Sikhi around India and the globe. We need to start somewhere and I believe it'll be smarter to start Raj Karega Khalsa from Punjab where Sikhi was founded.
A good thought veerji but what bhai jugraj singhs said is better, no offence. It's true that if we preach sikhi to those that are lost/seen as mindless population, which is most of india, (women, children, poor, low caste), if we can get them to see the light in sikhi then we get large numbers of the population that can take control. India is controlled by the powerful corrupt minority. If we get the majority on our side, the minority no matter how powerful is less in the numbers game. We need to follow the same way Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji started sikhi. Speaking the truth will get to those who seek it. In due time like before sikhi will grow over the years and become a dominant population in the future.
93Dholi The vision Bhai Jugraj Singh holds of Raj Karega Khalsa in India will be accomplished but not with intentions to covert for political power. Guru Nanak doesn't want Sikhs to increase population to gain political power. Guru Nanak's goal is to lead people to the right path. Guru Nanak doesn't want Sikhs which go to the Harmandir Sahib in the morning and the Durgiana Mandir in the afternoon.

Peeta Singh veerji you misundertood my view on this concept. I agree with you that we should not convert for political power. I am not saying to find anyone and everyone and brainwash them into sikhi. If we preach sikhi to the people, those who wish to convert will pledge whole heartedly and become true Khalsa Sikhs. Logically if someone wants to convert t sikhi they wont do half the job. They will become proper amritdhari and follow sikhi properly. I am sure this is what Jugraj veerjis view is too. Feeling of khalistan rise from 1947 riot when million of sikhs were killed and pushed out of punjab of pakistan where nanakana sahib(in punjab pakistan) is located.a littile sikh live in nanakana sahib now that why feeling of seprate region for sikh faith emerged.

If Sikhi was the solution to the problems in India, Punjab would have become the perfect place on earth. The fact that it is not tells us that no religion is superior than other religions. Personally I have a huge amount of respect for Sikh panth but projecting one religion as a panecia for all societal ills is preposterous. Lets rather spread love and respect for all humans which I believe is a tenet of Sikhi.

Most of Hindu do not consider Sikh as different but just extension of Hinduism. They respect Sikh gurus as their own gurus. I am from Patna, Hindus worship Guru Gowind Sahab there.

@@Kjas133 Most people I know they have pictures of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Saheb in their puja Ghar and home temples. I do not know how Hindus all around the world are, but based of environment I grew up in, it is impossible for any Hindu in that area to say anything against Sikhi. Infact they take great pride when someone talks about Gurus.

I've heard Ambedkar demanded amendments in Sikhism before his followers and himself converted. This is why the Sikhs of that time declined him.

Hinduism is not religion. It is life. It is everything . We have several ways to attend self consciousness . We respect everyone ways. So actually according to so called Hindus point of view. Muslims Christian Buddhist is also way of life. So a hindu can't hate any religion at all. Bcz every religion is following the same thing what hindu teaches.

I totally agree with your views.. I believe, there was a movement to spread Sikhi, earlier on.. I however, do not know how this faded out.. In my homestate, there were Malayali Ezhava Sikhs, who turned to Sikhism in 1920s..

Ambedkar never wanted to become Sikh. Yes there are many religious conversion happened to Islam and Christianity but still it is not possible. Sikhism is determined not to spread. You cannot have a holy book in your house unless it is treated like an honoured guest. But you can have a bible or a Quran. Why follow a religion in which you must speak punjabi and gurmukhi. You can be of any other religion in any language. Why should you wear special clothing and appearence when you can follow any other ralgion without special appearence. Sikhs are determined not to spread out.
Khalsa is required to have the special appearance, a Sikh is not. To read Qu'ran you must know Arabic. Although there are translations (as there are with SGGS) people read it in arabic

Why sikhs want to control something, or land? India is secular country. There is no boundaries. You can do Guru's prachar. People may accept it. Bharat never drow any boundary for any believes. Sikhs today in Indian politics are as corrupt as other politicians, so how are you suggesting that if sikhism spreads in India, then it will be rebooted. There is a rumor that the vedas and puranas prophesies that an incarnation will come to save the kalyug and his name will be Nanak. If this is true, and we can find it in the scriptures then really what Sikhs have to do is get out of the way and stop trying to make ourselves so different. Right now the mentality is that we should push everyone away and say that this is not Sikh and that is not Sikh.

I am pretty sure by your definition there are more than 500 million sikhs in India. I am from punjab but when i go to other parts of the country people visit gurudwaras and believe in the teachings of guru nanak. but the issue is they are modern minded and don't believe in ritualistic practices such as keeping kesh and carrying kirpans. Unfortunately the mainstream sikhs enforce that idea of sikhi and don't consider sehajdharis as sikhs.
As a British Hindu I've got to be honest, I have so much love and respect for the older generation of Sikhs that were friends with my parents. Amazing people. But a lot of the younger generation here are something else (majority, not all). Materialistic, obsessed with caste, fighting over politics in gurudwaras. Don't understand wtf has happened.
Keeping Kesh and carrying Kirpans aren't ritualistic. Only the Khalsa is required to carry Kirpans and keep Kesh as we are told by Guru Gobind Singh. Who told you that they aren't considered Sikhs? That's the whole point of Sehajdhari, it's mentioned in the Sikh Rehat Maryada that you are a Sikh If you believe in the 11 Gurus and the Amrit Ceremony. SehajDharis are considered Sikhs. Khalsas are required to keep hair and carry Kirpans because they must be tyar bar tyar at all times. Hair is kept because it's the natural form of the human body as given by Akaal. All of the rishis in ancient times kept long hair.

Bharat has over 1000 languages for thousands of years with thousands of different dieties worshipped. Yet no land has maintained a continued culture like Bharat has.
