- The beginning is very important, that is why a spent sometime preparing a sketch before starting the painting. I am trying to paint the un-paintable...the subject is the corner of my mind where invasive thoughts appear spontaneously and conglomerate thinking about the past.

You can definitely see classical paintings but in an abstract kind of way.

been following Cesar'S career for years now and I love seeing his progression. as young man being very abstract, then enrolling in the Angel Academy and learning then mastering realistic and classical painting, and now... once again breaking free from his institutions and finding another level of freedom to how he expresses himself. Very few artists have the courage and ability to successfully challenge themselves and what has made them successful in the past and succeed the way that Cesar has.
