      Yea me to 😢 this year will be my 3rd year trying to get an elk out of the logging areas in Idaho. I missed an opportunity on one bigger then this bull I’ve been bummed out ever since. It will happen tho just keep trying!

    A few things said in this video are not accurate. Maching abnormal points Never become typical points, excessive flare at the tip to tip can NOT be the inside spread, you do not measure a tine from the middle of the tip of the point, the G1 is NOT measured to the bottom of the burr, a point must be an inch long as well as longer than it is wide. I think a better definition of this quick style of measuring would be what is called Green Score. A gross score is nothing more than the final score without deductions and with the addition of abnormal points.

    I'm an OM for BC PY. This video is not quite accurate. Look at B/C official scoring method with Justin or Kyle of B/C records.

    the mass measurements are not like a deer a deer you take the first one and not on an elk

      Please explain. Elk and deer AlWAYS get 4 and only 4 mass measurements on both sides.

      @@timrozewski9677 your first mass measure ment on a deer is at the burr & on an elk it is between the g1 & g2 witch most people mix up thats how they are different

    I'm going to go ahead and call bs on his mass measurements. That guys wrapping his fingers and touching on the beam where he said they're over 8"
