The promise: "Close down the farms so we can re-forest the area and that's good for the environment."
The reality: "Closing down the farm has freed up a lot of land but we need somewhere to put all these "migrants" that just arrived. Lets sell the land to my land developer friends who will build entire towns for the "newcomers". No more farms and we have these nice slums...uh...I mean neighbourhoods for our sla- ....new workers.
Every body wins. Right?"
Sorry, but this video answers its main question in a very superficial way. I'm not a vegan nor a farmer, but I could've jotted down your main points on an envelope without having to look anything up.
There's a lot left out of this hypothesis.
The amount of land needed, how crops are grown ,
The nutritional value of those crops.
The environmental impact of those crops.
Thinking about what each of those issues require will conclude that veganism is not "good" for the environment including humans.
Animals die because farmers protect the produce . So , animals still suffer . Also Read about sludge that's used for growing crops . It's disgusting . Also some fertilizers have blood in it and God only knows what else .
Monocrops = zero nutrition

@@Sense6126 you're misunderstanding.
Veganism is very expensive...
Feeding animals big amounts of plants and then eat them is much more expensive than eating the plants directly. Also animals are a lot more expensive to care for.

What I love about the idea of everyone on Earth suddenly going vegan overnight is that it would mean that humans have become kinder as a species. Maybe that kindness would extend between humans, groups of humans, in-groups and out-groups. Maybe this planet would be a more compassionate place where we care about each other in a more genuine way. I once read somewhere that kindness begins on the plate.
That said, I have no idea where this idea of 'everyone on Earth going vegan overnight' comes from. I mean, I welcome the idea, but humans haven't really demonstrated the capacity to up and make even the most simple of decisions for the common good, even with compelling evidence and reasoning.

This is repetitious bunk with zero actual information.
You, like where do V get their retinol and DHA
This is the laziest video I've ever seen
Wrong. Humans have been Carnivores for most of our history.
Omnivores. You’re not the only human in history Kyle.
@@helentsernobrovkin2098 Omnivores with a significant dependence on cooked meat, our digestive system can handle both plant and animal-based foods, but cooked meat has played a crucial role in our evolution and development.
Supplements huh??? Let's all buy shares in the Supps. Industry... maybe that's where the farmers can get jobs..😂😂 Oh gretta, you're funny...
Must support Big Pharma at all cost
This is definitely a vegan channel.
I am sorry but I refuse to believe that veganism is good.
