Yudie Kasnik- the apostle john was at the start of the ministry of john the baptist when he saw the pharisees questioning him. They all claimed they didnt need to be baptised because they were following the law of moses. Henceforth, that is why john said , if any man say he have no sins , he is a liar and the truth is not in him. But if we repent of our sins , Christ has forgiven us of all. The pharisees kept claiming they knew God and failed to repent. These are for people that claims to know God and will not repent of their sins. Anyond that comes to God through Christ repents and He forgives them of all. Then he gives us instruction to stop sinning and walk in the light.
Does everyone just read that verse and not the rest of the letter? Not to be repented of is different than saying not to be repeated of. The reason why the Bible says not to be repented of is because you're not supposed to repent of repentance. You're not supposed to reject or fall away once you repent. Simon the sorcerer had to repent again. Peter had to repent again. If Peter had never returned to Jesus, that would be an example of repenting of repentance.

However, anyone who willfully continues to habitually commit those sins Paul warns about in Galatians 5:19-21 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 isn't going to make it into the Kingdom. 1John 1:9 is not a convenient get-out-of-jail card every time someone willfully chooses to fornicate, watch porn, commit adultery, do drugs, get drunk etc.

Changed from physical flesh to something else. This physical world is temporary and a time will come when it the elements will melt away and those alive at that time will immediately pass into whatever awaits. Paul is talking in Cor 15 about the physical body being changed not the spirit. The spirit is born again at the point of repentance and the "putting off of the body of sins of the flesh." Col 2:11 Cheers!

Perhaps, after a season of sorrow and a truly contrite heart the Lord will grant a second repentance.
