Since Mike is no longer here to defend himself, I can only assume Mike did not mean what he "implied" about David. It seems as if Mike was saying that David was saved all the while he was an adulterer and a murderer. I don't believe if Mike were here today, would he agree to that. David fell from Grace "for a time". And I believe Mike would agree to that reality.
I have done some bad things I have end up end up cursing God in my mind and all those things and I repented of it and it continued for a while I prayed over it I prayed over it and eventually disappeared but sometimes it's still just want to stick I believe a long time that I said to believe that I have had a lot but no I don't I know I don't want I don't know if I should believe that so if anybody or they could help me have I committed what Hebrew chapter 10 verse 26 says have I trampled under the Sun of God's blood will have I just lost my salvation all together really is there any possible way to say God to repent from all my iniquity in Jesus name I pray amen
*Luke 17:3-4* These are Jesus’ actual words. Repentance must come with genuine feelings of regret. But it doesn’t sound like Jesus thought it can be only obtained on rare occasions. I would say that Esau could not find repentance because he didn’t want it for the right reasons. He wanted his birthright back but had no interest in the things of God.
Repentance means to "turn around", or to "change your mind". It has a lot to do with attitude and personal decision, not with feelings. You can repent without any outward emotions, but you can't repent without a change of mind.
Haggai Chapter 2 1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying, 2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, 3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: 5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. 6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. 10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, 12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No. 13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. 14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. 15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD: 16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty. 17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD. 18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it. 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you. 20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying, 21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; 22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. 23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
Haggai Chapter 1 1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built. 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. 9 Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. 10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit. 11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands. 12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. 13 Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD. 14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, 15 In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
what about Mark 7:21. the men's heart is where evil, sin comes from. the heart is wicked and deceitful. we need a new heart. starts in mind and then act it out. sin is not calamity is a transgression of law but heart is wicked and evil and bad bad thoughts come from within from heart For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, mark 7:21 ?
Hi, Mike says that godly sorrow and repentance is the regeneration offered unto us by the Grace of Jesus. But to deny that people in the old testament cannot choose to stop sinning, be righous and go to Heaven is rediculous. Jesus gives the command to “stop sinning” to the adulterous woman and to the man on the strecher who were both unregenerated people, check our what Jesus said about Nathanael who was also unregenerated.
This is a Response to Marius Sørenes from 3 years ago for those who happen to read his comment thread. For those of you whose "ears have been tickled" by his words ---- consider what else John wrote --- "..My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate..." 1 John 2:1 "... Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him...." 1 John 3:4-6. "....He who sins is of the devil...."1 John 3:8 "....Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God...." 1 John 3:9 So now .... let us Harmonize ALL of what John wrote. Was John a hypocrite or mentally ill or worse? What is going on here? John says that "he who sins is of the devil", but then turns around and tells Christians that they are still sinners. Huh?!!! If you sin you are of the devil; but you are still sinners and will always be sinners, but you are of the devil because you sin. Does that make sense? Circular logic. John says that "he who sins has neither seen God nor known Him." But then turns around and rebukes Christians if they may suggest they are without sin. Huh?!!! Does this make any logical sense? Of course not. And Hirelings like Sorenson don't ever talk about the rest of John's words. They hope to seduce you by repeating 1 John 1:8 over and over and over again. Adam Clarke (1762 - 26 August 1832) spoke to this seeming "contradiction". I believe Adam Clarke to be spot on in his analysis. Adam Clarke on 1 John 1:8 ---- ".....Verse 8. If we say that we have no sin -- This is tantamount to 1 John 1:10: If we say that we have not sinned. All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; and therefore every man needs a Saviour, such as Christ is. It is very likely that the heretics, against whose evil doctrines the apostle writes, denied that they had any sin, or needed any Saviour. In deed, the Gnostics even denied that Christ suffered: the AEon, or Divine Being that dwelt in the man Christ Jesus, according to them, left him when he was taken by the Judeans; and he, being but a common man, his sufferings and death had neither merit nor efficacy. We deceive ourselves -- By supposing that we have no guilt, no sinfulness, and consequently have no need of the blood of Christ as an atoning sacrifice: this is the most dreadful of all deceptions, as it leaves the soul under all the guilt and pollution of sin, exposed to hell, and utterly unfit for heaven. The truth is not in us. We have no knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus, the whole of which is founded on this most awful truth-all have sinned, all are guilty, all are unholy; and none can redeem himself. Hence it is as necessary that Jesus Christ should become incarnated, and suffer and die to bring men to God....." So, Mike Desario is in agreement with Adam Clarke. This teaching/doctrine of the "Sinning Christian" can only be found in ONE verse. ONE!!! The Whole New Testament is about living a Holy and Righteous life, but yet men like Sorenson and Christendom want us to believe that Christians can't help but to sin. The doctrine/teaching of OSAS is very, very dangerous. Beware. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is about REMOVING sin from the Believer. Jesus didn't die so that we can continue to sin. The two are in contradiction to one another.
You were in bondage to the power of sin. But listen, you should know that most Christians are not saved. They made an incantation with their lips and were told to imagine their belief in Jesus and then with practicing magic in this way they were saved. Romans 10:9-10 the word "confess" does not mean that in the Greek at all. It is literally "agree in covenant". That means you are agreeing to obey Christ and that He would bring the blessings on you as His part of the covenant. It is not enough. You must repent for the forgiveness of sins. You must already be walking in the light or else the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, does not cleanse you from that sin [1 John 1:7]. To the Pharisees and the Sadducees John the Baptist said, "Bear fruits worthy of repentance."
Jesus entered into the temple once for all, Christians don't have a sin nature they have a sin habit, There no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus.
John JHR Russell There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who DO NOT walk according to the FLESH, but according to the SPIRIT.

John JHR Russ If God has to clean you up, how cane you grieve the Holy Spirit, if you do grieve the Holy Spirit it is God’s fault because God did not clean you up. Do you not know what you are saying , all I did quote the Scriptures. Why are you so defensive ?
Yes you are right, gnostisism is bad. But John didnt write his first letter to gnostics. He writes it to his children in the faith (1 John 2:1). Of course when one twists the text one can get it to say whatever one wants. But its written to christians. So if we (christians) say we have no sin, we decieve ourselfs and the truth is not in us. (Truth = Jesus). And just think about it. Are you sinless? Do you love God and your neiburough ever single moment, every single second? Are we not to pray everyday "forgive us as we forgive those who tresspasses against us". And what about temptations? If no christian can fall in temptation then why warn about it? Heresey is always gonna be prominent, and the one your teaching is just another one in a long line of hereseys.
Marius Sørenes When I heard him change what the text in John 1:8 said, I stopped listening. @MariusSorenes I feel you are totally correct in what you stated in this comment. We can’t just say, “What John meant to say was this, and that, and so in so.” We are adding to the word when we do these things.
@Neure Clarke What preachers like this preacher does not understand is jewish context. In Mark we read something interesting and profound: Mark 10:17 And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.” 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is[a] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,[b] “Then who can be saved?” 27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” In this passage we read about a young rich ruler that asks Jesus what he must do to be saved, in other words what he must obey to be saved. Heard that before? Obey Jesus to be saved? Some of the people commenting on this person and advocating that idea are just like this young rule. Now what does Jesus answer him? Why do you call me good? Only God is good. Jesus is God truly, and he is good. Now what is good in this meaning? Well sinless. Without sin. Because Jesus asks him of the law, if he kept the law, if he obeyed Christs commandments. He said he did. But he was spiritually prideful, he tought he had kept them, but the action of the next commandment proved he was indeed prideful. Because he could not sell his belongings. Now Jesus said to the diciples, that it is difficult for a rich man to enter into the kingdom, because the drawing of the posessions is great. But they were And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,[b] “Then who can be saved?” was their questions. The diciples were poor, they didnt have money like this young rich ruler, but indeed they saw their own sin in their life. And the answer Jesus gives is the answer i give unto everyone, who think that they are sinless, without sin. "With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God". If we say we have no sin, we decieve ourselfs and the truth is not within us. God does not want a prideful heart, he vomits of prideful people. Paul called himself the chief of sinners. What a title. But rather What a God, that is all knowing, all merciful and powerful to save, for himself.
@Bob Wagnon I can do all things trough Christ who strengthens me. Is taken out of context from Phillipians 4. And does not speak at all of keeping the commandments. It speaks of being content in all things. Please read the entire context: 10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 Yet it was kind of you to share[f] my trouble. 15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. 16 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.[g] 18 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. It is of course that one can take a part of a text and rip it out of context, but you are doing yourself a disfavor, instead try to read the bible as a book, without verses and chapter number. As a context that is bigger than just a verse. The other verse you cited is in Jude. And speaks firstly of not falling away from the faith, but keeping it. That is what God is indeed doing with his saints, he keeps them in the faith. The second part of the verse speaks of the day we are actually in Gods precense. This is shown by the letters beginning: Jude 1:3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. 5 Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved[c] a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day- 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire,[d] serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. In this beginning he speaks of faith. 17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 They[f] said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” 19 It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment[g] stained by the flesh. 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time[h] and now and forever. Amen. And this is a call to stribe for holiness, but the last part if without a question reffering to the end of times, the fufillment of all when we are in the precense of Jesus Christ our Great God and Saviour. All the verses being used by the holiness movement and those who preach sinless perfectionism as a requirement of salvation or as a fruit of salvation, do not know their bible. They are not true to their life, or to God. And it is a heresey. Read Galatians for a better understanding.
Honest question. I googled if masturbating was a sin, found out it was, asked for forgiveness, but did it anyways a couple days later, does that disqualify me from being forgiven again?
@@andrewgarner2323 you acknowledge Jesus as the son of God and still sin, your faith is nothing but empty lip service. Prove to God you are obedient by never doing it again, or you will most likely be condemned.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, If they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Jesus also said this about eternal life......Luke 10:25-28 (KJV) 25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt LIVE.".......Jesus also said to deny yourself, pick up your cross, follow me, strive to enter through the narrow gate, go and sin no more.....Jesus taught hear and do, not trust and receive, your pastor and these false churches have lied to you, the false system has told you the very lie taught in the bible that you can sin and not die
Gilbert 4 Christ where does Jesus say he was self righteous?
Gilbert 4 Christ you or Dr John still didn't show me where Jesus said he was self righteous....stop making up those homemade scriptures, again if you really believe you can willfully sin and still inherit the kingdom, I guess there's not much anyone can do or say to you....Jesus will say depart from me ye that work iniquity Mat 7:21....these ares the Bible verses that say will disqualify you from heaven, I hope your not on this list.........Mark 7:21-23, Matt 15:18-20, Rom 1:18-32, 1 Cor 6:9:10,Gal 5:19-21, Eph 5:3-7, Col 3:3-7, 1 Tim 1:10, Rev 21:8, 22:15 whether you call me or anyone self righteous then so be it, the Bible is easy if you just believe that God says what he means and means what He says
Gilbert 4 Christ what sins can't you stop by faith in Jesus?
Since Mike is no longer here to defend himself, I can only assume Mike did not mean what he "implied" about David. It seems as if Mike was saying that David was saved all the while he was an adulterer and a murderer. I don't believe if Mike were here today, would he agree to that. David fell from Grace "for a time". And I believe Mike would agree to that reality.
Yes I do too
Won’t Jesus say “Depart from me ye who practice sin?”
Wow. I just can't find the words. Thank you.
How can I be free? I don't want to go to HELL.
Haggai
Chapter 2
1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hebrews 10:26 if we deliberately sin once we knw the truth
Haggai
Chapter 1
1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
15 In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
Amen
what about Mark 7:21. the men's heart is where evil, sin comes from. the heart is wicked and deceitful. we need a new heart. starts in mind and then act it out. sin is not calamity is a transgression of law but heart is wicked and evil and bad bad thoughts come from within from heart
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Jesus coming back soon repent and give God the glory 🙏.
This is a Response to Marius Sørenes from 3 years ago for those who happen to read his comment thread. For those of you whose "ears have been tickled" by his words ---- consider what else John wrote ---
"..My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate..." 1 John 2:1
"... Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him...." 1 John 3:4-6.
"....He who sins is of the devil...."1 John 3:8
"....Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God...." 1 John 3:9
So now .... let us Harmonize ALL of what John wrote.
Adam Clarke on 1 John 1:8 ----
".....Verse 8. Hence it is as necessary that Jesus Christ should become incarnated, and suffer and die to bring men to God....."
So, Mike Desario is in agreement with Adam Clarke.
What about when I sinned and never knew Christ
Jesus or Hell
Jesus entered into the temple once for all, Christians don't have a sin nature they have a sin habit, There no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus.
John JHR Russell There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who DO NOT walk according to the FLESH, but according to the SPIRIT.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived neither fornicators, nor Idolaters nor adulterers nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, no covetous nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

For all things are possible with God.”
In this passage we read about a young rich ruler that asks Jesus what he must do to be saved, in other words what he must obey to be saved.
Please read the entire context:
10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me.
This is shown by the letters beginning:
Jude 1:3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
