I'd been lead to believe she did, real shame she doesn't. It'd've been a no brainer to have Vaporeon and Glaceon be on her team in Violet then Flareon and Leafeon in Scarlet (Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon and Jolteon remaining constant).
Penny's entire battle would be the perfect excuse to introduce a couple more Eeveelutions
Given her storyline involves disappearing abroad for a time, it would have been a great tie in to say she obtained it there and that is why we never saw it yet
She drops a Dragon Eevee out of nowhere XD I would've Loved that!

Arven and Penny fighting for me rn
Penny also had the most well balanced team. Arven and Geeta were both incredibly weak to Fighting and Flying, and then Geeta also had 2 weaknesses to dark ghost bug. Penny had a diverse team, and while not super creative being eevo's, eeveelutions are based

@@boo9781 Team Star is first introduced as an evil organization (dark type, because of their foul motives), which is later revealed as a result of the bullying they faced in the academy (fairy type, because of their noble cause)
My only letdown from Penny's fight was I wished this gen gave us a poison type and a fighting type Eeveelution, so that she could have an Eeveelution representing each of her best friends.
GOAT opportunity missed by gamefreak
Eevee won't ever get Poison or Fighting type evolutions because those are physical types (based on how the first two generations split types to be either physical or special) and Eevee only evolved into special types.
They should totally make a new Pokemon like Eevee that evolves into physical types, though.

@@valyrym2782 they are based off of the Gen1 - Gen3 style of fighting where the type represented whether or not the move was physical or special. in those gens fire was considered a special attack regardless if you used fire punch or fire blast. it all was considered special. and every eevee-lution outside of that was based on that aspect too. only exception is sylveon as fairy type came in gen 6 but i believe that gamefreak just assumed it made sense to make it a special type if it was in Gen 1-3 just to round things out. (purely speculative on that last part)
@@valyrym2782 They evolve only into *types* that that were special types. The special types were fire, water, grass, electric, psychic, ice, dragon, dark, and they considered fairy under that category when they created it even though fairy got added long after this categorization. The physical types were normal, fighting, flying, poison, ground, rock, bug, ghost, and steel.
As for the stats, all eeveelutions have the same base stats (130, 110, 95, 65, 65, 60) but just arranged in a different order in the stats.
Why did they choose to put the 130 in physical attack for the fire instead of into a different stat? That I don't know the answer to. My guess is because in first gen there were only five stats (HP, attack, defense, special, and speed) and they didn't want to use the high stat for both special attack and special defense (they were originally one stat together) because it would be "too strong." Vaporeon got the 130 in HP and Jolteon got the 130 in speed. In order to not have the 130 in special, that left them with attack and defense, and they chose attack.

Arven: you're asked by the professor to unlock ...aidon's full strength while helping arven not only stop the titan pokemon, but gathering important herbs to save his dog who had a good chance of not making it without them.

I did a link battle with my brother before I even beat the game and his team both had better moves and significantly stronger pokemon but I was still like "aight we'll see next time"

Raven’s story is pretending he’s on an epic chef quest, and referring to himself as something of a cook/chef. And only ever making sandwiches, he’s really a criminal in disguise
One time I accidentally referred to Nemona as my sister so I guess my Pokemon Violet character and Nemona are like sisters now
Gosh, having Penny, Arven and Nemona all come with you to go into Area Zero was like Triple Threat in The Henry Stickmin Collection. Finally the characters I know and love meet each other and have interesting interactions
Game freak needs to let glitchxcity compose a Pokémon game soundtrack. The themes are always fire and I end up playing them during replays of the other games going for exclusives. Great job and keep up the good work!!

I fought her yesterday and was realy surprised to hear this kind of Theme for her. Its one of my favorite Tracks from the Games.
Never expected to hear a kinda Hardstyle Track in Pokemon.
While I preferred Arven as a character, Penny was great, and her battle theme has to be one of my favourites in the game. This remix was very fun and interesting.
Definitely a rocking remix of Penny's theme. ^^ It certainly highlights the tech-themed elements in her battle music. Penny is certainly an engaging character, having assembled Team Star to take on bullies at the academy and having a willingness to accept the blame for the consequences of their actions. It was sweet to see the other Team Star bosses finally meeting her and formally welcome her into their friend circle. Quite a touching moment in the main game.
As for your gripe, I believe the reason her team is fixed in both games is because of her status as Team Star's leader. Three of the types that the squad bosses specialize in -- Dark, Fire, and Fairy -- are highlighted in her team with Umbreon, Flareon and Sylveon, respectively. (If there were Poison- and Fighting-type Eeveelutions, I think we'd see her using those too.)
Man this remix makes this song even better. Out of the three themes, I like Cassiopea/Penny's the most between her, Arven, and Nemona.
