If you can’t find white chocolate hazelnut spread, here is an easy way to make it yourself 200 grams hazelnuts, roasted and skinned 100 grams white chocolate, melted Blend hazelnuts in a food processor until they become liquid. Stir in the melted white chocolate. Keep in an airtight container or jar. *if you don’t want leftovers cut the quantity in half*
How about a lemon meringue version? Lemon flavoured cookie stuffed with curd...then you could make them like thumbprint cookies and fill the hole with torched meringue :)

I was actually doing this already with your biscoff recipe I just took out the biscoff crumbs and added hazelnut/chocolate spread instead of biscoff spread and was amazing but I will try this recipe for a pizza cookie today😍

I love Sally and Dane's playful banter, it cheers me up. After seeing the first cookie vid way back in the before times, I was inspired to make some in the new year. The first 2 batches I made were a week before lockdown and they carried us through 2020, I made milk chocolate pecan version and white chocolate and macadamia versions, followed my the matcha version. Thanks C&D for sharing all your nice recipes, they got us through a poop year 💖 🍪 and I'm gonna make this version too. Much love.

These look beyond amazing. I just have a question, I tried making the other recipes but for some reason the cookies tend to hold their shape and don't spread like the ones you make. Any tips?
Try 2 things 1) Don’t press the balls too tightly when forming 2) Don’t put the cookies on a preheated tray as they recommend. Ovens all bake differently. The quicker the base of your cookie bakes, the quicker it stops spreading. So give it time to spread
@@hannahjose1987 These issues sometimes need trial and error too. For example I noticed that different brands of butter even make a difference in how much cookies spread. Also make sure you’re using couverture chocolate and not compound as it tends to seize up sometimes and might hinder the spreading. Some other issues could be if the ingredients have not been measure correctly. If you pay attention all their cookie recipes are really the same with the same percentage of flour/butter/sugar. So it’s important to get the percentage right. Make sure your oven is at the right temperature and not too hot. If all else doesn’t work then just don’t freeze the dough and just bake it from room temperature. Whole point of freezing is to stop the spread.

I used the nuga hazelnut spread with milk for the filling and oh my GODDDDD. my cookies didn’t spread but I slammed them on the tray once down on the counter halfway through baking and that made them flatten when they were done baking. And then I slammed them again when they were done. I also melted white chocolate and put it in a piping bag and piped lines of it on my kinder cookie, and then did the same with with some melted nuga spread. I added a kinder finger on top and it was perfection. Everyone at my party loved it thank you jemma!!!!!

Hi Will, fill the cookie pie with ganache. It will hold when you cut it. If you don't want it too thick add a bit more cream.

Along with those suggestions check the temperature of your oven with an oven thermometer just to make sure.
