Great build, I made one last night with some changes. I put my armory at the top and the Captain's Quarters next to battle station. In my head it still makes sense that the Captain is next to the battle station and it bugged me way to much thinking about a main ladder running through the Captain's Quarters. Plus if your docking with a ship and need to load up on weapons you have the armory right there before you board. I also put the loading bay at the front and moved the reactor to the back. There was an empty spot above the loading bay where the reactor was so I added some shielded cargo in holds in there. The biggest pain in the butt with builds like these is collecting all the parts from different locations since it has to pass the checks the game has in place. Would be great if you could just buy parts from different locations without needing to attach them to a ship.
hmmm I think I might try this as well. I also made one other change instead of the brig I put in the Deimos Engineering bay which kind of made sense in my mind with the Reactor being down near that level. I also found that some of the companions tended to stay down there so they are out of my way. \
i ended up just throwing random 2x1 habs in place of the 3x2 and 2x2 modules i dont have at my base shipyard. its a mess interior wise with a stupid amount of ladders going everywhere and store rooms filling up gaps until i decide to go collect those modules. i felt the same way about the placement of the cabins. i also modified some of the caps and fins, as well as used the parts i can use, only ship builder 3 right now.
Same, the Kepler R is a good 'free' ship I've been using to hold me over until I can try this one. I love the attention to making the interior look great, and it still has all the needed habs. I'm almost at 500k credits so getting close.
I really like what you did with Morphologis' ship. I recently came back to the game and just hit level 60 so am planning out my ship. I may consider using this as a starting point and thanks for explaining companionways vs. storerooms. One thing different I wanted to do is walk into the cargo bay since from an RP perspective, you couldn't send some of those large containers in the cargo bay up a ladder, so maybe put engineering above the cargo bay. Aside from that, I think there might be a way to shift the habs 1x forward so there is a companionway between the Captain's quarters and Bridge, but it'll be fun to play around with that.
I thought I would reply to my own comment on this. I built the ship per the video but there were two doors in different spots (#Bethesda). One was the Storeroom door next to the "library" was not there. The other were the doors connecting the habs together. Otherwise it was great! Then I went through customizing the build and moved the Cargo/Brig deck to the bottom deck and the Engineering deck one above. I also didn't like the landing bay in the back so I moved it to the middle front of the ship, so when entering, you walk through the cargo and brig to the back companionways. I also was able to move the door to the center of the Mess hall so it doesn't go through the meeting room/private dining area. Then I added a Companionway at the bridge deck and the Captain's quarters to the side so you don't enter through the Captain's quarters. I added a Deimos Captain's quarters to the other side for symmetry as more of a meeting room and just ignore the cot in there. I also used 6 SAL-6830 engines instead of the 2-2 like you did. Other doors are more messed up so I might download the Place Doors Yourself mod. I've never uploaded a YT video to showcase though. Great inspiration here! EDIT: I created a Reddit post with my modifications: www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/1gwy1ud/a_ship_from_a_ship_from_a_ship_my_customization/
fun build. i turned my newly aquired va'ruun revelation II into a similar version of this with only having to spend 300k. i still have to go around grabbing the special habs and unlock starship builder 4 to maximize it. my mobility is only 67 because i dont have the best engines available yet.
The thing about ship building it’s all about flow of the interiors. It took me a while to get the hang of this but eventually u get better the more u build.
Love the build, uses all habs (something i wanted but mine was an ugly brick). I did do some moving around to put the landing bay in the front instead of the back, because i didnt like exiting the ship and being 500 ft from the direction i needed to go. Also used only stroud habs because i edited the frontier and that felt more right lore wise.
I'm going to try this as a new ship, I built my own ship, made the one this is based off but I wanted something more "battleship" and this is probably it.
If you want to make it so you don't fall through the entire stacked companion ways from top to bottom you should use the top portal windows but flip it so it's underneath each section of the 1 buy 1 habs. To make that work you just have to move the 1/1 out of the way one by one starting from bottom to top with the camera angle looking from underneath and attache the window to the bottom of each 1/1 hab then replace the 1/1 you've removed back to its original position then by change between cargo and through way press the B button on Xbox and the 1/1 will stay in place then reselect the 1/1 but do not move it and it should turn green then press the A button and it should be locked in place. Unfortunately I don't know what the corresponding button is for PC or other consoles. If done correctly you should be able to go to every floor as you go up or down the lader without falling all the way through and from the top you will be able to see all the way to the bottom but looking up you should only see a gold panel also it does not effect your companions as they will move freely up and down the laders as well.
Still a ways off from NG+10 (at +3 atm) where I`m gonna rebuild my Empire but this ship will most definitly be in it. Great work and great explanation ^^
True but ur ship always lands the direction of ur landing bay and facing the ship tech in major locations. So, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things
@@Mayce1701another easy fix is basically flipping the lowest level, have the cargo hab in the front and the brig in the back and then any of the front landing bays I used a Deimos one. Also moved the gravel drive to sit in the top where the Deimos hulls are to give it a bit of a hotrod look and so you can see the story item spin inside it from the bridge
I was able to solve that... and also increase the cargo capacity even further by sacrificing some mobility and jump range (you really only need 25ly) The flow of the interior is still great also. On the bottom deck - keep the engineering bay at the rear of the ship, and leave connected with the bottom 1x1 companionway. Delete existing landing bay, and replace with Deimos Tail. Remove Taiyo spines, Deimos Hull, and front bumper. Place front landing bay connected to the grav drive. I went with the one that has a ladder entrance. This makes you come up through the Brig right next to the "reception desk" looking structure. Deck 2 - Replace the 1x1 cargo hold modules between the control station and the Brig with Galeon S204 cargo holds. Replace the Deimos hulls under the wings with Galeon S204 Cargo holds. Replace the 1x1 cargo hold module linking the Cargo BaY and the Brig with Nova Spine - can't remember the name but it is the one with the really cool rounded hallway inside. For the engines - I replaced the Poseidon engines with SAL 6830's. I also added two additional SAL 6830's by moving the "wings" forward by one space (more parallel with the side windows on the mess hall), and replacing the top and bottom rear pieces of the "wings" with Stroud Engine mounts to which the 2 additional engines attach. The weapons will still mount on the front of the "wings" also. Over all I have a base 9,600 Cargo 25 LY jump range 75 Mobility The ship looks badass, has a lot of firepower, and is a great all around endgame build.

I like it. I changed it up a little bit and moved the bracer above the landing bay and put the 100CM Ballast Shielded Cargo Hold. Removed the bottom port holes and added a Scan Jammer - Multi Frequency. And removed the Deimos Hull with the Hopetech Nose B that was attached and put in the Taiyo Forward Sensor. Still trying to figure if I like that sensor or not.
Just a suggestion maybe if you’re going to do videos like this and there are parts that can only be found in very specific places and it’s the last piece you’re going to tell somebody to put on it instruct them to go get the piece before they start building so they don’t spend 2 1/2 hours building and then at the end have to delete everything so they think we go get the bridge BEFORE THEY BUILD not to mention the two by threes and two by fours

Not sure what I did wrong this time around. I just went to NG+ and wanted to build this amazing ship again. But for some reason in this NG+ I'm only getting 95 mobility instead of the 100 like in my last NG+. Still a great ship
After over a thousand hours and twice doing NG+ 10 on Steam and Xbox , i think i found my ship of all ships for Starfield . Gonna start building it when i get home today . Can you clarify where i can get all parts in one place . The only thing i didn’t get back to going on Game pass where i want to build this was an Outpost with a landing pad .
Love this build. Do you there would be a way to switch the engineering decks and the cargo/brig decks. In my mind, it would be hard to get cargo/prisoners up/down latter but with the bay you have it would be perfect to open up into those respective habs.
I did experiment with making the engineering deck a full proper deck, so feel free to experiment with it. I got my basic framework from Morphologis so I just enhanced his build, but the beauty is that you can make it your own.
To the guy in the video do you think you could try your hand at making a federal corvette from elite dangerous as you seem to have a realistic size of ships down to heart here
just seeing your engines if you go to akila cowboy city they do Sal-6860 or Sal-6880 i think called but there is a higher class engines which are a higher engine than your current engine you got im level 80 i noticed there not listed on the inara website ??
Great build, im building it along with the video, i have encountered 1 issue so far, I am unable to get the Stroud Nose Cap B rotated to the same layout you do, how did you manage that?
If I remember correctly you might have to go to either the Stroud showroom or the Stroud drydock for that. I remember having some issues as well with those so it's either that or keep cycling through
When you start the build make sue you rotate the Landing Bay exactly as he did, look at the build area and for the word port on the ground, make sure you landing bay is matching the same direction and the nose cap will rotate properly . I had the same issue and then notice that this was what cause the Nose Cap to be in the wrong direction.
Why a brig though? BTW any lore to those reactors and warp drives? Because I always fear that IRL would cook my crew to death when I put a living area next to the core.
Because I wanted a brig lol. And headcanon wise if they have shields and artificial gravity then the habs probably have some form of protective shielding or a structural integrity field like Star Trek, along with inertial dampeners
@@Mayce1701 word. I really want that reactor. I’m level 47 right now. Prolly gonna grind some ship combat out in the serpentis system and get as close to level 60 as possible.
@@Mayce1701also just checked out Morphologis’s video on this ship and yours is definitely better looking. More battleship while his is like a heavy cruiser.
@@chromemox3319 Serpentis is great if you want to grind Ship Command and piloting, the Vangaurd sim is also good for grinding Piloting as well, and both for Aneutronic Fusion. The place planets to grid for skill points though are Celebrai II (my prefered one, just kill everything), and Strix I Craters biome(kill all the floating jellyfish)
So the Armory on this ship suffers the same faith as other ships , where weapons and items place there will disappear . All weapons and armor in placed in the armory yesterday today when i load the game and check they are all gone . Can't believe Bethesda haven't fixed that yet.
I am breaking my head trying to find out what is wrong with the layout and i dont have a door for the Science lab. I have the exact same layout like yours , i enter the Nova Galactic Living Quarters 2x2 on the left there is a door for the infirmary BUT on the right you have a door for the science lab (27:01) , i do not, there is a wall with stuff on it :( I have to go AROUND through the mess hall and turn right and right again to access a door for the science lab , :( If i change the infirmary with the science lab position then when i enter the Living quarters there is a door on the right for the science lab and on the left for the infirmary and then the workshop ...Maybe a bug because there is no reason to hide the door if i put it on the right lol. Any ideas?
I was having similar issues with my all in one's. Try cycling to a different type of 2×1 or change the manufacturer, then see if it's fixed, then change it back to the original one.
@@Mayce1701 i had many issues with the ship (bugs) so i loaded a previous save and i had to go to each staryard for the hubs and worked. When i used the hubs from my outpost i had issues.Another tip is to dismiss all companions from the ship before start changing hubs , when i did that everything was ok and i had the doors where supposed to be and no other issues. After i finished i reassigned the companions back to the ship :) Thanks!
I’m very annoyed, and im certain it’s not your fault but… im trying to build this at my outpost, and got all the way to the Nova cargo Hall 2x2 and I don’t have it there. I checked the Reddit link, and that’s not a Hab that is listed in the unique parts. Idk if im not a high enough level to have it available in my outpost builder or what.
To the guy in the video do you think you could try your hand at making a federal corvette from elite dangerous as you seem to have a realistic size of ships down to heart here
Nice work - What planet are you on in the video?
which ship did you start with? Where did you start?
I didn’t like it……… I love it❤❤
just seeing your engines if you go to akila cowboy city they do Sal-6860 or Sal-6880 i think called but there is a higher class engines which are a higher engine than your current engine you got im level 80 i noticed there not listed on the inara website ??
I don’t know how UA-camrs remember how to build their ship I have a horrible memory I definitely wouldn’t be able to do that
impressive
My question is how many places did you have to go to for parts because I know each place has different parts
Starfield is available on PS now??
btw really cool build, you inspire me to build these kind of ships
No I have it on PC, I just prefer to use controllers because I'm weird lol
@@Mayce1701 ohh, thats pretty cool, I understand because i used to do that too 😅😅
whenever i build a ship i don't have any ladders to get to the other floors or doors to get to the other parts of the ship
Are the components for building this ship all in one place? Where did you build it and how much did you pay for it? 😅
There's a mod to catch prisoners and put them in your brig. I hope it's expanded officially at some point.
Anyone please share all components parts list !! And please tell where i get them ?
*sighs* time to make another build then alter it with modded habs and weapons *starts harvesting organs to finance ship addiction*
What’s the best level to be at for access to all the ship parts? Might throw this ship together
You can build most if not all of the ship at anytime with parts related to your level. For this exact build LvL 61 I think is what is required.
@@Mayce1701 I’ll keep the planets in mind for sure. I’ve already maxed out all the necessary skills in tech. Just need to get to that target level 60.
So the Armory on this ship suffers the same faith as other ships , where weapons and items place there will disappear . All weapons and armor in placed in the armory yesterday today when i load the game and check they are all gone . Can't believe Bethesda haven't fixed that yet.
Where do i go to purchase these parts?
37.000 views but only 900 likes🤔 Why ❓🤔🤨
where did you build this?
Lol Did the same thing, and ended out with a similar solution.
wish I could get the colors right..
Need a Bigger Ship Size mod.
I am breaking my head trying to find out what is wrong with the layout and i dont have a door for the Science lab.
I have the exact same layout like yours , i enter the Nova Galactic Living Quarters 2x2 on the left there is a door for the infirmary BUT on the right you have a door for the science lab (27:01) , i do not, there is a wall with stuff on it :( I have to go AROUND through the mess hall and turn right and right again to access a door for the science lab , :(
If i change the infirmary with the science lab position then when i enter the Living quarters there is a door on the right for the science lab and on the left for the infirmary and then the workshop ...Maybe a bug because there is no reason to hide the door if i put it on the right lol.
After i finished i reassigned the companions back to the ship :)
Thanks!
No glitch is good, three-story ladder is a no no
I’m very annoyed, and im certain it’s not your fault but… im trying to build this at my outpost, and got all the way to the Nova cargo Hall 2x2 and I don’t have it there. I checked the Reddit link, and that’s not a Hab that is listed in the unique parts. Idk if im not a high enough level to have it available in my outpost builder or what. I’m lvl 47 with piloting and starship eng. both at lvl 4.
Try New Homestead
@@Mayce1701 do you know, should I be able to build it in its entirety at New Homestead? Like, I don’t care if I have to piece it from different places but not knowing where to get the parts is the problem
@@edc_7321No New Homstead is basically the Nova Galactic Staryard in the game. Weapons and Engines, Fuel, I believe you can get there as well
Dock on the top ? 🤮 time waste EVERY time u need to use such ship 😅
How is your reactor power 60 on Xbox from a year ago 🥲
