Wish the game had an aggro system.
I've been a day 01 player of Tera and i loved how the tanks could "attract" monsters and even Bosses.
there is an aggro system, i just didnt equip the aggro skills on my blade warden
The developers have also decided to add a taunt skill/effect for more threat/aggro control on top of what is currently in place. I'm so excited to see some proper mob management and mitigation.
I hope there's a UI scale option. That's all I see it's so big...

hi, there is another difficulty on that game because i saw that the boss had only 2 attacks patterns that's just an HP boss with 0 difficulty to manage for kill him...
This is the first dungeon in the game and is not very difficult for experienced players.
Jump animation cancelling I see. Wonder how well it works on Foe Breakers slower attacks.
Doesn't this game have an aggro system where the tank holds the attention of the BOSS?
it is certain skills from the sword and shield class that pull aggro. Its just that I didnt equip them, I wanted to play dps tank :P
After watching many BP gameplay on YT, I can tell you're a good player. Could u give some insight on how the blue shield skill on [4] works? Does it only let u block 1 attack and go into a 20s cooldown? I dont see many Aegis Fighter utilize it. And thanks for the BP footage, love ur Keen Strider POV also.
thanks for the positive comment. you can block multiple attacks with the blue shield, as long as its duration holds. at higher levels the skill will even be able to absorb damage and then release it.

Btw going thru your channel I remember you now from your Lost Ark DB Montage with the Demon Slayer Zenitsu edits, hard to forget that one :) Figured you'd go Twin Striker on Blue Protocol? I'm also a DB main (still plays Lost Ark) torn between that and Aegis Fighter from the 5 available options. Can't wait for the western beta!

correct me if im wrong, looks like the classic dps/tank/healer role doesnt really matter in this game, as in if your team is good enough you can clear the instance with an all DPS team?
yes
The sword and shield class can tank and support while the archer is a healer

What do you think of the blade warden damage wise ?
it has enough damage to clear content solo. obviously some other classes will outshine it in that field though, since it is focused on tankiness and pulling aggro.

Are tanks and aggro actually a thing? or its moslty DPSs with someone healing?
Man after playing rod phantom in pso2 for so long all these mages classes feel so slow to me. I really wish they make like succession classes or something for the basic classes cos i want a mage tht goes zoooom.
Rod phantom put even NGS force to shame, Blue Protocol combat a way too slow for that.
Then stick with pso2. Some people like slower combat

yes, you can turn of all effects/show buff debuff skills only, show party teammates skills only etc...

a tank that can't get aggro is basically useless.. also why there's no videos on yt of someone playing archer? Is it that rare?
i actually switched my main to archer during the NT, will upload some archer footage later, very fun class

You do have aggro skills though, you just don't perma mindless aggro like FFXIV

yes, but the classes are quite flexible and there are certain builds where a class can focus more on dps if they want instead of tank/support.

Yes thats super cool, finally a game with a good spin of an archer might play it.

rtx 3060 ti, note that the recording software also reduced my fps by 10-20% sometimes

Hmm it’s kinda weird, right when I think “it’s going to take forever to kill these trash mobs cause they are so spongey” they end up getting demolished when everyone uses their abilities. I’ve never been a fan of extremely spongey enemies especially if they are the trash mobs that you’re suppose to CC and plow through. In your experience has it ever become a chore in the combat or is it fun and engaging enough to keep you immersed and interested throughout the combat instances?

idk about the other players but my character was inspired from an anime called bofuri. its also a mmorpg world there and the female protagonist played as a sword and shield

P2W? You're buying convenience to swap perks on weapons and perk slots which can be grinded out anyway..If someone wants to pay money for instant gratification that gives them less than 15% dps increase in a PvE game then let them lmfao💀

@@jeje4131 Yeah, basically- Also here's a video that details it a bit better from a well known creator in the MMO space. The game also doesn't currently have any plans for standard trading of items, so it's hard to call it P2W when that's the case. If you're afraid of whales you can make your own groups and run the content without having to interact with people who pay a little for convenience. It's not going to be as egregious as people are making it sound.
