Nice car! Hyundai-Kia have really sharpened their game in design and quality. Problem here is this car exceeds the sticker on the revolutionary Toyota Prius LE. Only hang up is that Prius may be very hard to obtain! Excellent review, as always!
Nice review. I own a 2021 Elantra Hybrid Limited and love it. 28k miles and no issues so far. I get around 46-47 mpg with my heavy foot. I thought the 2024’s get a Blind Spot monitor in the dash on the limited trim?
Thanks! It has blind spot monitoring, but not in the dash since no 360 degree cameras. Not sure if you can add it, since 24 Elantra Hybrid is not in the car configurator on the website yet.
Great review ! Been doing my research on this car and imagine my delight to see a NJ reviewer in Ewing, where I went to college. Then to see you drive by my old house and then pull into the TCNJ campus - i couldn’t believe it. Is it a sign ?! Maybe !
Thanks for the detailed video, I am in Canada and will be ordering this car in 2 weeks, delivery will probably take 6 to 8 weeks at least, can't wait, selling my 2016 elantra.
In Canada we only get the top model for the hybrid for 2024; so if you pay for the high model then it is - almost a no brainer upgrade - but quite a leap off say the lower range base and middle model petro-only models. When I got my '21 they said my monetary knowledge might make me a hybrid buyer that does not know it .. and I think they were right BUT there was none available for months and the surprise batch of Elantra's with the old pricing (stuck in Vancouver for like 3 or 4 months due to mud-slides in the mountains) were such a good value in a quickly changing market back then.
can you make a comparison with Prius LE (or XLE since LE is like no where to find)? Wonder why makes you think Elantra hybrid is best sedan hybrid? I am very curious now because I am hesitating on both cars.
I’m asking the question. It’s for the consumer to decide whether this is the best. The Prius is the benchmark, but it is more expensive if you compare like trims. Thanks for watching.
I own the 2021 Elantra limited hybrid...this car look damn near identical 😅. My only complaint is the back up/Reverse siren is annoying and it can't be turned off.
I have a 2023 elantra limited and I was disappointed that the 2024 doesn't come with a spare tire....sure the fix-a-flat save you on weight, but I would prefer old-school donut tire.
I just got mine 3 days ago 2023. A few things are missing, no heating steering wheel. No garage opener. No led lights in the cabin. I ordered a pack of led bulbs from Amazon for 16 bucks. I'll change the all out next week. And i will also change all the speakers out after market is better
Nice review! I own a 2017 Elantra Value Edition with 83,000 miles with no issues, but looking for a different car. I am trying to decide between the new 2024 Elantra SEL or the new 2024 Corolla LE (non hybrid). Since you have reviewed and test driven both, which is your choice? Particularly for quietness and ride comfort and quieter smooth engine?
the Elantra will be more spacious, and overall more comfortable. you'll have to move up to the Corolla SE/XSE or hybrid XLE to get the most comfort out of your ride. the LE has a torsion beam suspension, and with it's smaller chassis it won't handle rough roads as well.
I have a '21 Preferred (middle model). Excellent mpg (5.6L/100k 3 season 7.3/100k winter, NORMAL mode, suburban city on all-weather that is snow rated tires). At the time interesting as they put in the leather heated steering wheel but delete the dual heat instead here (Canada) back then.
I am leasing the 2024 Elantra hybrid. I love it
Great! Glad to hear. Thanks for tuning in.
I have the 2022 hyundai hybrid limited...best car i have ever owned..
Girlfriend is deciding between this and the 24 civic thank you for the detailed video.
Thanks! Thank you for watching. Much appreciated.

2024 Elantra limited Gas version is having the features, I was waiting for that In hybrid, disappointed, purchased 2023 limited yesterday
Glad you mentioned no heated steering wheel and the vibration as those are two turn offs for me.

Whats funny is that in canada you get a steering wheel heater in the SEL and up and heated seats as standard in all trims
also 2024 hybrid limited doesn't have 360 degree camera. Whereas the new 2024 gasoline limited has 360 camera.

The Elantra SEL brings more amenities and a better warranty. Plus it’s a bit bigger.

You do know the 2024 Elantras also have the rear torsion beam suspension, right?@@corybureau4124

I say Corolla for a peace of mind. Or lower trim non hybrid Camry they have automatic transmission instead of cvt. 😂
I don’t get the point in the cargo net
This car is not limited because the limited model had 360 cameras.
There is only a limited and blue model, and the trunk doesn’t say blue so it has to be limited
@@esbih that's a shame....I noticed that....guess 2025 model it is haha
@@esbih I am glad my GF bought the gasoline model. She loves the 360 camera.
Hybrid limited does not have 360 camera, only the gas version.
The best are New Honda Civic hybrid and Toyota Corolla hybrid thé elantra it’s just a esthetic choice.
Torsion beam on the rear for 2024- not multi link!
Window sticker lists multi link rear suspension. 13:24 of the video.
Plz don’t buy as this car is 100% negative equity. You will loose your money even Hyundai doesn’t want it back
That’s why you lease my friend
And its lose not loose 😂
