This is a testament to how good freddie was all these kid's were not even born in freddies life time. True power of a legend a god

Well said Michael. I was 17 when Freddie Mercury died....his passing still stings.
My parents were married, but my oldest brother wan't born yet.
michael happy
I wasn't anywhere near being born when Freddie died, but This gave Me chills down My spine.
He was a true legend. Nobody owned Versatility the way He did IMO.
He was actually a God
Maybe the most legendary song in the history of music....
Not maybe, it is.
@@Hekamiah112 I agree 100%😉

Hey now let’s not forget about stairway to heaven you guys
Hey! I was in the crowd! Thank you to whoever recorded this, I had totally forgotten about this moment so thank you for bringing it back. You unlocked a memory! I remember singing with my dad at the top of my lungs. It felt amazing, like everyone in the crowd was sharing a brain cell.
When was this recorded, What year, I came across this, audience are very young, I’m 55 yrs old, it’s on my UA-cam music list

Your dad? Your dad went with you to a Green Day concert? Molly let me tell you - as dads go ... HE'S A KEEPER!!
Damn, man, I saw Maiden, Anthrax and Pantera when they came to Portugal in 86/89 and I never forgot the damn thing, something like this would surely be well imprinted too...
I was there, this was magical honestly.
wow, I’m so incredibly jealous, I would do so much to be part of that
Jess Pope. Lucky you, And i hate that.
Shit, man, you have even divided yourselves into deep and high sections to get the song right!!!!
Jess Pope I’m so very, very jealous.
I was there too. Was insane :) I was a lot farther back and the whole crowd was singing, even way back at the food stands. :)
Legend says the entire crowd left after Bohemian Rhapsody was over.
BYRON CORTEZ MUSIC lol
Oh my god hahahaha
Sorry i can't take* that in even if that is a joke or not
:[
I wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t 😄
Wowowow don't disrespect green day like that they are one of the best rock bands of all time
“You’re a legend, Fred”
“You’re bloody right I am. We’re all legends. But you’re right I am a legend.”

Then Brian and Roger starts to laugh

im 54 and its my generation song but when i see so young people singing this song and knowing this song so much make me nearly cry thx a lot make my day
Farming Quebec what kind of 54 year old types comments like this
Me too. Watch the reaction videos to Queen. It's lovely seeing young folk discover bohemian rhapsody and become die hard queen fans.
a french canadian kind of lol
I know. I'm nearly 16 and I'm sad that I never got to see queen perform. I grew up with their songs.
You should watch this version, I did cry a little at the end...

Ok, but why does this random crowd of people sound better than most middle school choirs
The more people you have, more notes right, so you will hear mostly the right notes, it will sound better ofc
@@andreantunes5251 not really, sometimes when a large group of people sing, it sounds like they are just chanting instead of singing aftrr that as all the different notes mix
Because in school u are forced to sing a song you probably don’t even like
Or even one girl at a high school thinking they can sing
'cause they are under Freddie's blessing
The lyrics shouldn't even be that easy to memorize. They aren't even all English for fuck sake and yet still queen has made such an impact that EVERYONE knows the lyrics over 40 years on. Truly the greatest legends on this Earth.
It's actually not THAT hard to memorise all of this song if you're a native English speaker. If not, then yeah there will be problems.
But yeah, this is my favourite song of all time.
@@andjustjizzforall If you try to memorize it then of course it isn't but everyone just knows it even without looking up the lyrics or anything. That kind of an impact is insane.
@@andjustjizzforall I never sat down and tried to learn the lyrics, nor have I ever even seen a lyrics sheet but I still know all of the lyrics as does everyone else. For a song like that, that is crazy.
I actually memorize it but im not from that country im from philippines btw. :)

It is called "allsång" and is a tradition in (at least) Sweden and Norway.
Just an example of what happens here in Sweden:

Not as good as as the Green Day Crowd, but just as as emotional. I also miss the days when you could have crowds, and I _hate_ crowds.
Lol imagine being backstage about to go out and sing Infront of thousands of people and they start singing another band's music
Lmao
*oof*
LOL
Doesn't matter if it's Queen.
Well they played it so like. U can hear roger singing his galileo part and brian palying his guitar

If you're losing faith in this world, think of this: tens of thousands of people of different backgrounds, different languages, and different stories to tell all pausing their lives to sing to the same song; disregarding all differences to unite as a whole to accomplish something beautiful. Holy crap this hits close to home. A few years ago at music camp, we were all having breakfast in the hall and everyone started singing this and it sounded like this. At that time I had just learned to play this on the piano so i got up and played it with everyone singing and it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. This brings it back big time
