    We just tried STAR Class on Allure of the Seas. Your video is by far the BEST video reference Royal Genie experience on UA-cam.

    As others have said, very informative star class info, as most yt videos are outdated.
    Me and some friends are heading out on Utopia in the 2bdr aquatheater suite in October. We are quite the let loose and party crowd. I know the you can get breakfast brought to your room in the mornings, but by chance will they be able to set you up with items to make mimosas also?
    Side note, first I’ve heard about no limits on places like playmakers and Izumi. That is friggin awesome news. It broke my heart when they said you could only do 1 specialty place once a day. So we can get all the sushi we want? One of my guests, first time cruiser at that, has talked about how much sushi he’s gonna eat, and I didn’t have the heart to tell him about the daily limit.
    Great video.

    Thanks so very much for a very informative video. We are in star class next year. Question...we tip the concierge in sky class, can I ask what ballpark tip would be for genie on 7 night Mediterranean cruise. Thanks

      Tipping for genies is a very touchy subject; there is usually an argument every time it comes up in the Facebook Star Class groups. We did the math, based on what seemed to be the most common tip; $100 per day, with 4 people in the group. Using that, we figure $25 per day per person, is a pretty fair amount. You’ll see people say it should be $1000 for a week and other, more crazy amounts, but I think our calculation makes it pretty simple. If someone is really really using their genie abundantly, I could see increasing that per person amount for sure.

    Hey!! Thanks for the video. It’s very helpful information. We were wondering, is Starbucks included or did you pay extra? (For Star class guests)

      Starbucks is included, anything you want from there (only drinks, not branded packaged snacks).

    If you don’t mind me asking what would you say is an appropriate tip for your genie. Taking my first cruise and as a star class not to sure who else you have to tip end of the cruise

      Same response I gave to another person who asked about tipping: Tipping for genies is a very touchy subject; there is usually an argument every time it comes up in the Facebook Star Class groups. We did the math, based on what seemed to be the most common tip; $100 per day, with 4 people in the group. Using that, we figure $25 per day per person, is a pretty fair amount. As for who else you “have to” tip at the end of the cruise, all other gratuities are included for Star Class. I would, however, suggest tipping the room steward an additional amount, if you feel their service was above and beyond; in a Star Class room, you can pretty much expect that they will go above and beyond, though I have seen people who didn’t feel that way.

    Ben and Jerry’s unfortunately is getting phased out of all ships on RC

    • @TravelingwiththeKings
      @TravelingwiththeKings  4 місяці тому +1

      They are just not calling it Ben and Jerry’s anymore, but the ice cream places will remain for additional money, and likely remain as included for Star Class as well.

      Thank you!!! We wanted to give people an accurate picture of what to expect. Though the video is long, to cover it all, we hope to answer any question that anyone might have about the Star Class experience.
