I worked at a small,family owned slaughterhouse for 15 years. We made lunch meats and hotdogs. To have a hotdog right out of the smoke house was awesome. I had a hotdog in my hand all the time. My boss told me he was going to weigh me in and out at the end of the day.😂😂 Those were the days.👍👍

The Hot Grill way since 1967 in Clifton, NJ they are the best. Cooked in oil and topped with Mustard and Onions and then some chili made their way, The best. I have been eating them since about 1968 and i am 74 today.

My great great great grand father used to make them for fast factory lunches, in NY state. They were heart meat and suit, 50/50, with spices. Not all hot dogs are created equal. Grab a package of pricey ones, and, through the plastic, try smushing one between your thumb and forefinger. It doesn't easily smush. Then do the same with one of the cheap brands. It smushes with hardly any force.
I understand if people choose to be vegetarian. Their business. Just don't go looking for sausages that are meatless. Sausages are made from meat. Don't like it? Don't eat it!
