This melody's from a famous Vietnamese song, "Tup leu ly tuong", many artists have covered for years. Here's one of the great versions ua-cam.com/video/uYdfouPLQiw/v-deo.html
Someone told me that she was the second wife of a famous composer in Cambodia. I’ve commented this twice because UA-cam likes to censor his name because it kind of looks like a bad word in English.
And if the translate function is accurate, I think someone said that she was half Vietnamese. I’m not sure of this though. I would also appreciate more information about her if anyone who sees this knows any more about her.
So, I'll probably carry this question to my grave because I don't understand the language, but does anyone know if it's related to Connie Kim "Túp Lều Lý Tưởng" song from Vietnam (found on Saigon Supersound Vol. 2) ? The singing sounds similar despite language differences, it's way faster on Dara Chom Chan version but I feel like it could be the same song revisited ? Here's the song in question : ua-cam.com/video/nJTpXkTrsJo/v-deo.html
