@@franprakash5554 it was AMAZING. The ship was great and had alot going on but it definitely gets a little crowded in the buffets at meal times. But other than that, a beautiful vacation thanks for asking!
We're booked for Alaska in April '25 and have a million questions...only b/c I like to know everything about my trips before I go. But to hear it was an amazing trip is a plus! I'm really looking forward to it.
Currently booked on the Joy next summer. The Bliss seems to mesh so much better than the joy. The Local definitely looks a lot better on Bliss as well. It looks like the pub style place osheehans always was. Certainly excited for my vacation but NCL definitely did A LOT correctly with the Bliss. Wish she would come to NYC.
I don't know when NCL started doing this, but looking at the Latitudes levels i saw that as a Platinum level a member is supposed to get an added 2 perk Specialty dinners per Platinum member, but on their website they mention that only one Platinum member gets the atrained 2 Specialty dinners as a Platinum or above if you are in a room with another Platinum member! So they are stripping one Platinum level member of the perks you worked to get by sailing about 11 cruises with 1 Latitudes point per day. This seems to be a breach of contract in fine print that most won't be aware of till both in their room are Platinum or above Latitudes members! Subliminal or not it is stripping what a loyal NCL cruiser worked for
I just got back from a 5-day cruise on the Bliss on Friday, Jan, 12,2024. I have mixed feelings about the Bliss as my wife and I are seasoned cruise travelers, especially on this route to Cobo. But before I speak to the Bliss I am comparing this ship to Princess Ships. Some will argue that this is not a fair comparison because of the size and capacity of both. Bliss had one swimming pool for 4100 people I think that is really small, Princess has several and less capacity. The food on the Bliss was hit-and-miss at best but the food on the Princess is always consistent, I did not find the food on the Bliss to be consistent and at times tasteless from the lack of seasoning compared to that of Princess. The service at the restaurants was not quite as professional as the Princess I believe you can tell the lack of training and supervision of the service was not comparable to the Princess. The balcony room on the starboard rear quarter is small and awkward compared to the princess which we always book on the Princess. We did find many of the staff especially housekeeping (at least ours) were experienced and nice and did an awesome job. The chairs in the buffet area were all and I mean all stained either water or otherwise, and the couches on deck were showing signs of wear and should not because the ship was built in 2018. Don't get me wrong I am not sour on NCL I and my wife had a very nice cruise we enjoyed our time aboard. But I do not think we will sail NCL anytime soon it was our second trip on NCL a few years ago we did Hawaii and had a great experience. thanks for this post. I was going to book Bliss for me and my 5 year old. Only one pool is very disappointing and the food not being great is disappointing.
My daughter and I just got home from a seven day cruise to Alaska on the Norwegian Bliss. Our experience was so similar to yours. Way too many people, my fault for not reading the fine print (: And too little time spent in ports. And when you decide to leave the ship it was like being herded like cattle through panels but I understand with so many people Leaving the ship in Seattle was a terribly, terribly long walk..
I booked a cruise and it included the free at sea package. This package includes 1 specialty dining and drink package. If you upgrade to the free at sea plus, you will get 3 specialty dining and the premium drink package.
I recently returned from a Mexico cruise on this ship. Had I been able bodied and not needed a scooter to allow me mobility on the ship I would only have a few negative things to say about this ship. I found this ship to be absolutely against limited mobility travelers. The staff, housekeeping and restaurant, were atrocious towards the mobility limited traveler. Housekeeping kept their carts outside of the rooms they were cleaning and when a person on a scooter came to the housekeeping cart they could not pass by. Because of the extremely close walls in the walkway there was no way to turn the carts around. The housekeeping staff ignored the calls for assistant by those on the scooters.. When a person arrived at a restaurant the staff seated the individual on the scooter and then took the scooter away. After finishing eating the individual with the scooter would ask for the scooter to be returned. It took 5 to 7 times for the request for the scooter to be returned before the scooter was returned.. Not a good ship for persons requiring a mobility device.
Can't wait to go on this ship in September!!
I can’t wait to go on this ship in December for the Christmas cruise!!

Do they heat the pools for Alaska cruises?
Thank you for a great walkthrough tour!
Amazing editing
Thanks 😅

When you get onboard, go to guest services. They will help you out.
@@cruisesit and show you the website where it states one Platinum member perk per cabin!
Going on Saturday on the Alaska trip on the bliss first time every.
How was it?
That Haven and Mandara areas look the best. Shame there was no showing of rooms but what a ship.
We are IN for Dec 2024 from Miami ❤️🙏
Is booking through you cheaper than booking thru NCL? I just booked a 15-day cruise for Dec.
American Diner is now complimentary and not specialty, recent change.
Thank you.
Taking my granddaughter for her 13th birthday in October.
Awesome I'll be taking my kiddo for first cruise ever. Have fun and wear layers in Alaska
@@yuvanbaldwinew9282 Thanks, we're coming from Wyoming so definitely know about layers.
I’m gonna go on this
Is that splash pad at the kids aqua park for kids with diapers too? Or only potty trained?
I will be going on the Alaskan cruise next month. Are there lounges you can have whiskey and cigars? Or is everything smoke free?
I found out that the whiskey bar has a cigar smoking area and casino, too.
When you say make reservations early, do you mean while you’re on the excursion, or like when I book tickets?
When you book.

Be here September
On NCL website it says specialty dining is included, is that true?

Does the Bliss or Joy still have a cigar lounge?
Bliss has one at the whisky bar and casino, too.
If we call you to book, are you guys able to apply our cruisenext credit?
Of course!
I can’t believe there is gocarts and laser tag on the top deck of this ship!
Is this Norwegian Bliss? Doesn’t seem like it.
You didn't do anything showing the kids club.

manhattan , savor and taste has the same exact menu everyday
Good review!... Too much "Grab a Drink" promotion. Thanks.
This was hard to listen to. Was this a robot voice, the rhythm of speech was so broken.
There’s norway I could afjord this.
Now that NCL has coke products do they have freestyle machines on the Bliss? Looks like not unless this camera roll is from 2022.
No.
