I just booked a cruise on the Bliss for November 2025. It will be our 6th cruise, second on NCL. I found this video to be very helpful and informative. I will definitely rewatch it with my wife when it gets close to cruise time. Thank you!
I am booked on a crossing on the Bliss, from Miami to Southampton in January 2025. There will be a lot of "at sea" days, so this was very helpful. Thanks for the comprehensive review.
Just got off the Bliss two days ago and I had a great time. The staff was super friendly and I had no bad service. This was my first cruise so I don’t have anything to compare, but I enjoyed it. The toilet paper is crappy and the app was terrible, but they have a new app that is a big improvement.
we were on the bliss to alaska in 2022 and will be on again in February 2025 for panama canal. we haven't dined in Le Bistro but we loved Los Lobos and plan on going there again, we have 5 specialty dining credits on this next cruise so will probably try Le Bistro. Love the Bliss, nice video thanks for sharing.
My bff of 50 yrs and I went August 10th thru 17th. So wish we had seen your great video prior. We had such a hard time getting anyone to help us with even finding our room let alone other problems we had. However, WE LOVED IT! We took advantage of Ocean Blue. My captains late was magnificent and was way too much to eat it all. Most of our meals were at the Cafe which never disappointed. Our worst meal was at the Local Bar and grill. Not even sauerkraut on the rubber. My favorite was entertainment. ICONS was alot of fun Jersey Boys however was OUTSTANDING! We were second row center the first night and one of the best experiences of my life! We had so much fun we went the next night as well. The actor as Frankie was not quite as great as first night but still amazing. The other highlight of our trip was the whale. watching excursion we went on. Unbelievable! I do agree that most of the drinks we had were so so and not much alcohol but I was ok with that. My friend just asked for a double shot which helped. Biggest disappointment was not being able to go to Butchart Gardens... as a disabled senior I went to ask for directions and left in tears because of how rude the woman I asked was. That was $350 and a $200 passport cost down the drain. All in all though we had a blast and hope to go again next year now that we know what to expect and where things are located. Sail on!
Really nice video, I appreciated the heads up on the service. It's nice to see a video that doesn't feel like it's a NCL commercial, just real stuff, good and bad.
Awesome Info and Appreciate the detail you went into each area. The last Carnival cruise we did the staff was terrible everywhere, but Casino Bar🍺. Leave 9-21-24 for Alaska/Bliss!
@@cameomarie1 That's a personal preference. If you prepaid the drink package, then you technically prepaid tips. We like to tip for excellent service though on top of that. That being said, with Norwegian you do not sign a receipt like you do on a Carnival Cruise, meaning your tip will need to be in cash.

It's very refreshing to get a straightforward take on things. Great stuff, will be bringing my own TP on the Bliss
@@fobbdeep888 We appreciate that. We strive to remain completely honest, regardless of how it comes off, in all of our videos.
Your own paper may clog the toilets.
I’m going on this ship on December 21st. Through December 28th for the Christmas Cruise.
Thank you really appreciate the video cruising for the first time in 10+ years on the Bliss in January Transatlantic.
@@DanielleKFinn You'll love it

When getting drinks at the bar are we supposed to tip or is that part of the included tip?

Wow! You really hated the staff, didn’t you?!😂
Some of them were pretty terrible, especially when compared to Carnival.
