Got a Blackstone last year after watching brother In law cook burgers and other stuff. He borrowed it from local fire dept. Fell in love with it. 5 year old commercial 40 in. Bought a 36" and I love it. Will make up any, ANY, excuse to cook on it. Love doing huge breakfast on it. Home fries, bacon, sausage, eggs, and pancakes. Feed whole neighborhood. Wanna try your biscuits and gravy recipe next. Wish me luck.
haahahahah awesome for sure....heck you got this...good luck
I would love to see you doing monthly live this has been very informative and I definitely want to try the way he does smash burgers whether it's a juicy Lucy or just the parchment paper trick
Watched live. Re watching. Loved when Neil delivers bread. Brought back memories my dad delivered bread back in the day. Year 1943 til 1967. I got to ride with him 1 time in summer from I was 3 til 16 yrs old. We got tomorrows bread as the bread company was in home town . Warren, pa. Love you guys from Slidell la
incredible memories for sure.....

if you got eggs from the farmer, they are not refrigerated. burgers are swesome, this channel is awesome. just bought a 22" blackstone, and its first run was vegetables (benihana style) and it was a hit. thanks for your tips and prepping me for a awesome first run on my griddle.
Okay I couldn't take it anymore. I've watched countless hours of your videos and I was watching this live 8 months after it posted and I decided that I need to support you and make you my number one griddle and cooking channel. Thank you for your service most of all! And thank you for your videos. They are both informative and entertaining. I am known for my grilling On a Weber kettle and I am looking to expand my cooking abilities. After a recent horrible divorce which I do not recommend to anybody, hug your wife! I have started cooking on cast iron again and now have purchased a small 17-in black stone to get started. Again, thank you for your inspirational videos and thank you for your service!
Alot to dive in there Greg..First and foremost sorry to hear about the divorce...Second thanks for tanking time out your day and reaching out and keeping us to date. really like hearing from you all...and of course lastly thanks so much for the support...really appreciated and definitely does not go unnoticed...reach out if we can help
My wife just bought me a Blackstone 36” for my birthday in April. I have yet to open the box. I’ve been watching your videos for an education.
Get that thing open..hahahha
I got the Sam's Club brand 5-burner flat top as a gift from my fiance and her parents, and got it put together about 3 weeks ago. I hit UA-cam almost immediately, and shortly thereafter stumbled upon your channel. You quickly became my favorite but I couldn't quite put my finger on exactly why. As I watched more I figured it out, as I was in the Navy and I live in Crossville. You're always my first choice when I'm trying to learn to cook something.
First as always welcome to the family and thank you for your service...really appreciate you taking time out to comment
Well I finally did it, made my version of the juicy Lucy. Had both my sisters and one brother-in-law over plus one for myself so I made four burgers. They absolutely loved it, commented on the crunchiness of the onions, plus I got a good seer on the burgers and the nice brioche buns toasted well. The internal cheese I used was white American plus some blue cheese crumbles. I couldn’t find the jalapeño chips and it’s just as well because there just wasn’t room, massive burger. Thanks for all you do, I knew this was gonna be a good burger by the look on your face and your comments, the combination of flavors is absolutely excellent. I certainly took your advice and made it my own, it was a great hit. Will definitely do it again.
hey thats awesome....that to me is what cooking is all about, and frankly why I started in the first place
I was a Milkman for 15 years, I knew a few good Bread Man! Traded many a pint of milk for a Honeybun! I'm going to try those burgers on the Blackstone. They look So Good !!
Hey Dave...welcome to the vendor family...hhahh what a ride..
Just watching in the middle of the night in North East corner of Ohio. New to your channel. AWESOME
Hey thats awesome...thank you
As you consider regional food. In the Kansas City area closely followed by BBQ is a pork tenderloin sandwich. Topped with cheese, Mayo, mustard, horseradish, lettuce, tomato, onion make up the common condiments. Thanks for everything you guys do!
that sounds legit..is that the one pounded thin a fried
@@TheFlatTopKing yes it is and very seldom does it fit the bun. Christina’s Firehouse has one of the biggest and best in K.C. I’d send a photo of it but I don’t know how? A Google search will show you the outrageous size of this monster. LOL
@@sonnykey9673 thanks Sonny
You sir are incredible!!! Everything looks delicious andfun to make!! Please don't ever stop because you are really an inspiration and i love learning from you. So truly neal thankyou 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks so much
Love your channel. You inspired us to get a griddle. Thank you! BTW we use our Traeger to make pizza and it works great.
Hi from Indiana! love watching Neal cook
Awesome! Thank you!
I love love Jucy Lucy’s, but remember that 1st bite you may get a mouthful of molten cheese! Be careful as these are so darn good it is hard to not dive right in…. Great show as usual, love your videos, and again thank you for your service!
Hi from Mn
WOW - MOUTH IS WATERING!!! Love you guys! Great cook.
Thanks so much
This was amazing love you guys so much I don’t even have a grilled and can’t stop watching ya’ll
TODD GET ONE>>>>you wont regret it...
Love watching yous. You taught me alot how to cook on my Camp Chef.
Awesome..thank you
Lmao! My wife don't cook and I went from a charcoal grill to a propane grill to a pellet grill and now I got a flat top and getting rid of the propane grill.
I love the idea about a cooking class, but I only have a 17 inch and so far I can only cook one thing at a time, stuff gets cold. Could you do a show/class for people that have a 17 inch.
I will look in to it...
I also use my rolling tool chest for cooking and cooking supplies
That's great
I have learned alot from following you two. Thanks fer the tips. Dave from Michigan
Awesome! Thank you Dave...we are having another one Sunday November 6th ant 1pm
If you want to try some wild preserves, jellies, syrups or sauces try what they sell at a gas station in Palisades, CO. There will be no regrets. And man, that's one thick burger. Wyoming is a wild place. I love it. To live there, for the most, you have to be extremely independent.
Cheyenne and Casper are two of my favorite places on this planet. If I could pull it off Dubois would be awesome. If you could grab roadkill, my God. Western Wyoming is one or two deer per eighth of a mile. Hit by semis going to the pacific nw.
We lived right between the two,.,more on the eastern side of Wyoming...absolutely loved my time there...
I wonder if it's possible to put a notification up in advance because I had read about the live ages ago and planned to join but then forgot about it as usual. Remembered about 5 minutes after it ended apparently.
Check out Epicurean cutting boards. They do come in black! They are easy on your knives and dishwasher safe too.
Thanks so much...I definitely will
So glad i watched this! I have just added the ingredients to my grocery order to make the Boursin cheese burger with the pepper jelly! I can hardly wait to try it! it looks absolutely delicious! And I've never even tried Boursin cheese before. Thanks for the recipe. I'll be trying it soon!
Hey not to be a kill joy...but these are literally some of the best we have done...the balance of sweet and creamy...check out our 4th of july special that made the idea come to life
Will do!!! Thanks so much!
Nice cook Mr. Flattop. Sorry, I missed the LIVE, due to other business I needed to rend to. The burgers looked awesome. GRIDDLE ON DUDES
All good...we will make a video just for the burger we made...it was so good I want to share it with people...
Your the best I love watching you cook on the blackstone 15:25
I just got a griddle for my old char broil 2 burner gas rand. I watched your videos and I have made some fantastic things on a grill that I was going to throw out. The grates were getting rusted and I was ready to throw it out. When I saw your video on cooking with the grille, I converted my grill to a griddle, and I cook with you on my laptop. My family thinks I'm w wizard, but you are the real wizard. I will not tell my family that I'm using your ideas, so I'm taking the credit for what you have shown me. They can't 'believe that I "fixed my grill". I will not tell them that you inspired me. You are my secrete weapon.
Hey that alone is top ten comments right there..the biggest thing is happy wife happy life...thanks Ralph for the comment....
Sorry, missed the live yesterday. I watched it today. Love the videos. Learned a lot from yall. I also have a pit boss 1150ps and weber performer. Love cooking outside. ROLL TIDE!!!
GO VOLS....Richard.....hahahhaha
New subscriber, here. I love your content. Just bought my first flat top from Camp Chef. Speaking of Camp Chef, I also picked up their Woodwind pro smoker. Have you ever made a smoked cheeseburger?!
Well just got our first flat top today I’m gonna be watching your video for seasoning I love all your videos
Perfect...let me know if we can help out
That was a awesome video! We had to watch it on replay and watched till the end! Definately going to our Ingles tomorrow to get the pepper jelly. I've been looking for a good one for awhile, the last one I bought was horrible! Keep on with the great videos!
Amy this stuff will steal the show for sure...what a surprise and great additive.
Keep it simple and "USE THAT" for BBQ. Just my suggestion for a name. Keep the videos coming. We enjoyed watching them.
Will do ...thanks
I just bought a Blackstone Griddle. I can't see anyway to use those tin trays like you have. How do you set them so they don't fall and catch all the scrappings?
Maybe its a different size of trays...
just added the pepper jelly to my shopping list
Man it has to be a must have
Just bought a griddle haven’t used it yet Steve from New Jersey
Buddy lets get on it,,.although the weather up there might be crazy for sure..
I want to try this. Looks good. But I typically cook to temperature. Do you just "know" when it's done or are you timing it? What was the surface temp?
well this one is hard because the cheese is inside...cook long enough for the cheese to melt but dont over cook the burger...med rare should not be dont like this...it would not melt the cheese
as for the temp I always cook on low
Hello from Wyoming, i really enjoy all video's thank you keep up the good work...
Thanks for watching....used to live in south east wy...Jay em, lusk, torrington
At 19:09 your cutting board was mentioned. Couldn't tell if you said what and where you got that. Brand and where you got it? Would you be able to provide that info?
look up cuttinboard.com
Did the cooked raw onions go on the pepper jam burger or just the dried ones ?
just the dried ones...but you Definitely can do both
Greg from Indiana! Those burgers look awesome 👌
Glad you like them!
Just was able to watch. Great video sorry i missed the live show. So much great info Ideas about the cooking classes fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and your time.

Hey Pat sorry you missed it but there will Definitely be more..what part on TN did you live

Hey I appreciate that...thanks
Once i get a flat top griddle i am going to try some of your ideas. You should do chopped cheese sandwiches. Mashed potato pancakes.
i have the chopped cheese available...I have not done the mashed potato yet...
Cool.
What ship did you serve on?
I'm James from Orlando, I love you guys.
HI James...from Orlando..thanks bud...

miss that area...spent a lot of time that way
I'm a 69 yr 100% disability veteran thanks for service and love your cooking
Hey thank you for your service...
Get a good tripod for your filming. Can still pan and zoom and would look much more clean as far as content presentation.
She's a keeper. Love her Neil. Talks just as much as my wife. Only when I'm sleeping is when I'm in peace. But I love her always.
literally lol.....thats hilarious
Question
What cleaver do you have?
Thanks 😊😊
The burgers are looking good keep it up I watch all time
Hey thanks Danny
Dinners already done in VA 😊
Yes I can hear you great
Can you do a video on rice. Iv burnt mine every time. I used that rice in the bag that’s already cooked. I saw Todd Tovin use it and it looked easy but it burnt every time. Iv also burnt my pizza in the pizza oven. I have the same one you have. I agree with you about the pizza on griddle. It’s just wrong. Everyone does it but it just doesn’t work. I’m all for the live video once a month.
Great suggestion!...We have several videos on fried rice....i have a specific video called that ....hibachi fried rice..I have chicken fried rice...5 ingredient hibachi for beginners, steak and shrimp hibachi
Hi from WV I love you guys so much. I drive a truck so only get to cook 1 day a week

Thanks Eddie
Hey guys super new to the site and been contemplating buying a flat top grill for years. Don’t have a lot of cooking time and my wife is an awesome cook!! That being said I’ve got an older Weber e310 spirit that’s been great. Do you know of a decent drop in flat top you would suggest? Looking at stainless steel but not really sure what to do. Be nice to be able to use it on the grill and on our gas oven inside as we don’t have a covered porch yet. Awesome channel already watched a ton of videos in like 12 hrs. I’m the Pepsi guy so I’ve listened while working all day😂
I personally do not...BUT Weber does make em now for gas griddles...
@@TheFlatTopKing thanks I’ve looked at those but not very fond of the drain hole going down to my gas ports. My Weber is older with the burners running left to right instead front to back. Might just be best to buy a cheap black stone 🤷🏻♂️
Hey there from South Carolina
Great live event, do you have the link for the cutting board you use?
No we bought it personally and didnt think about that..we bought it from wayfair
That does look good and you guys are so fun
Hey thanks bud...
Finally! A shot of your lovely assistant.
We have some scattered videos with here cooking...
sorry I missed this but would look forward to monthly live, I would get a chance once in a while then.
I can hear you perfectly, Rick from Gulfport ms.
I have some family in WIggins....been to Gulfport a few times
I enjoy your videos and heard you are the bread guy what is the best bread bun etc for hamburgers and cheese steak sandwiches I need help?My wife makes pepper jelly and the cream cheese and crackers is what we bring as a appetizer too.
Hey bud...trying not to be parcial...but the new Pepperidge Farm Brioche Buns I think are the best on the market...Plus I think most Brioche is better than regular to start with...a bad brioche is better than a good regular...as for the cheese steak....for the average store its extremely hard to find the right bun....We actually bought some online and had shipped...from Philly....
@@TheFlatTopKing Thank you for taking the time to help me It is much appreciated.
I love my flat top grill, thank you for making the videos.
thats great to hear...keep on cooking
Those look amazing, great content on your Chanel, I watched another video and I can’t remember which one but your comment was you can’t griddle and have low calorie, that’s what I wrestle with trying to be healthy lol
Hey its definitely a struggle...if i was not a content creator I could but no one wants to see the same thing over and over..

Hi from la harpe ill
Yes
Sorry that I missed you on Sunday. We are camping and grandson wanted to go fishing. We took our Pit Boss with us and have been cooking on it for the last two weeks.
Question when are you going to build your backyard kitchen?
We wont at this house...I will wait until we move....hopefully sooner rather than later
What division were you in on the ship? I'm thinking S2. I'm a retired SKCS with 28 years.
With all the cooking you guys do you have to be on natural gas from your house right???
Unfortunately not....dont have access to Natural
If you want it more spicy, hobinaro pepper!!
What is your propane of choice? Blue Rhino, Ferrell, American Gas, Strickland Propane. Let us know.
Costco refill...same container...
You have peeked my interest with this one. Gonna have to try this! Thanks for sharing. #hungryhussey #blackstonegriddles #theflattopking
