Billy & Bobby Alessi Interview (4/29/23)

Identical twin brothers Billy and Bobby Alessi are a pop rock duo who have been known as The Alessi Brothers AKA Alessi. The singer/songwriters were part of the band Barnaby Bye during the early 70’s. As Alessi their 1977 song “Oh Lori” became a huge hit internationally. The duo have written and produced tracks for many artists over the years as well as providing backing vocals on various releases. The brothers have also been successful writing jingles. During the past couple of decades they started touring and recording again as Alessi and as part of Barnaby Bye. In 2012 Billy and Bobby were inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
