Game devs that release games annually annually find it difficult to improve graphics and still make the game run great (if that's your concern) you might see slight improvement, but I don't think youd seriously a difference unless you would compare F1 24 to F1 29 (when that game becomes a thought)

There was a game called F1 2006 championship edition in which they went sideways, depending on speed…in 2006! 2024 Codies cannot make this happen apparently

F1 2023 had the most terrible engine sounds in the history of the game, seems they just recycle it into the next. For anyone disagreeing just watch pole positions onboards from real life

Good point 😂, every time I join a race without qualifying session, Stroll is wether on pole or fighting for the win in the next couple of laps…. While in the real world, Strolls barely gets some points during a race

For someone like me who still learns wheel, efficent trail braking, etc, the telemetry should be more visible and the hud is too simple, looks like from a mobile game.

i assume it’s so that casual players don’t immediately crash their cars because they won’t be able to see anything, you have to think abt the gameplay on that part (but it would be cool if there’s an option to have spray from the rain on or off!)

@EthanMaskie from having no radio whatsoever in f1 23 and the games before that, this is definitely an improvement in terms of realism, also, the actual driver radios in real life sound like this.

I know everyone is complaining about the HUD but I’ll just add to that…
You’re playing a high-speed motor racing game; your HUD has to be ‘glanceable’! As in it must be, it’s important information for your driving. Take the acceleration and brake inputs as an example, their force / sensitive is vital for monitoring trail breaking and traction control in and out of corners; you simply can’t see that properly here without staring at it for about a second, and in that time you’ll drive into a wall.
Look at GT7’s HUD; it presents clean, concise and VISIBLE information without any bells or whistles, no flashy animations, just what the driver needs.
What is with these shift lights? Why are they so dull? And why are they triangles? Is this a deal with fanatec or something?

That first lap in a very wet Spa, where is the spray from the cars ahead? The driver shouldn't been able to see anything irl, but here he can see all cars ahead? That must be a mistake?
The same with the last few F1 games
This is a part where I actually kind of understand why they don't do it. F124 is kind of a game trying to cater to a broad audience, from casual f1 fans, and the most extreme sim racing fans as well. If they give us super heavy spray any casual fan who plays the game us just going to have an unpleasant time. So it's almost a balance of not making the game to hard for noobs, but also trying to cater to the die hard fans of the sport

Another year of wet conditions with unrealistic sprays. Wet conditions produce much more spray than what was showed. The game looks like it's on life support.
Engine sound is terrible. Especially shifting sound
I imagine it will be a lot better with manual shifts because the shifts of the trailer were automatic

@diorformula3934 how can you say they won't change the game, when they've updated multiple tracks. Changing the displays for each team may not be something they've thought of, because maybe people haven't asked for it. Look at the changes they have made over the years that people asked for, VR support on PC, full formation laps, bringing back ERS control during races. People need to remember it's a licensed game based on an actual sport, so they're not going to completely overhaul the game, unless there drastic changes to F1.

What are the red, green and yellow strips on the HUD? I’m new to the game as I still play with f1 2020.
Red: amount of energy you can harvest per lap
Green: amount of energy you can use per lap
Yellow: amount of energy you have

Btw stay on f1 2020, only go up to f1 21. f1 22 onwards isn't worth it. f1 21 however has a great career mode and the my team career mode where you can build your own team with departments, sponsors drivers r&d upgrades, activities and more! its a great game, F1 22 and 23 however are not that great

9:25 they still cant code reflections, just look at that flickering. Tail lights could be a lot brighter also, new tires should look new ( with that glossy finish ), and please let the spray be improved visually, and smoke on lockups maybe? but if it's going to be the same smoke effects as the last game, jeez, you guys need to sort that out. Looked like it was made by amateurs.

The tracks seem to match the IRL tracks much more on f1 24, i noticed it around spa the most but also around Lusail aswell which is really cool.

Until the game is released on next gen consoles only, it is still being held back by previous generations. Are codemasters really going to still support old gen with the same engine when the next gen (ps6 or the next xbox) releases sometime in 2028?

The wet weather still appears too fast imo. The AI will be like aliens and you have to drive unrealistically fast and aggressive to keep up. Of course game difficulty can help adjust things but anyways. Same old by the looks of it.
Hoping to see triple screen support and an option to hide the steering wheel for a more immersive racing experience!

@@D_Azera in f1 22/23 for me it felt like the car just went pretty straight even with little inside locking. In ac it was different to me like sometimes i would fully lock the inside wheel and still not lose like 5 thenths just damage the tire massively which seem to be happening on onboards when someone like ricciardo sends one. But honestly im just hoping that they gonna do something good

@@badeendje11 ERS mode like 2019 was on the first video to 23 and i like this change, you can race with different ERS modes in iracing too. But overtake button in quali seems new to me.

(Still, if that is indeed the case, they should still be able to increase rainspray density by a factor of 10 on Xbox Series X & PS5 and even have it close to real life on PC, as all those platforms are significantly more powerful than theold and outdated PS4 or Xbox One!!!)

Another cool feature could be having fans, so you have to meet expectation set by the fans at the start it’s not too hard but as you get more fans by completing seasons and meeting expectations and team goals the expectations become more if you meet then you get more recognition if you fail you lose recognition
Why does the motor sound so lethargic going through the fast left hander before the bus stop? With the third person pov it looked like a formation lap not a qualifying lap. Concerned. Gonna wait this one out I think.
