For emotionless beings, the Cybermen sure have quite a bit of emotion in their voices. I saw this episode. It was great to see an episode that was before my time.
Am i the only one who thinks these cybermen are better then the ones we have now, I just think they are the best version of what a cyberman should look like, not completely stiff more robotic creatures.
People say these ones sound very emotional for emotionless creatures but if rage and arrogance are your only emotions; it beats sounding like a cheap 90's printer. And the actor's chin moving in the helmet always gave me the creeps. These ones are much more a hybrid of man and machine, proper cyborgs, than the brains in a suit of armour we have now which aren't scary because they're just... robots.
For being emotionless, I'm always amused by the amount of emotion present in the Cybermen voices after the Troughton era. I wish they had stuck with the vocoders. The transparent chin on the helmet is an interesting touch though.
In my opinion the cybermen back then were poorly made, i really like the changes they gave them so far, you could hardly take those tinfoil-wrapped cybermen seriously back then.

Actually, it is said that Cybermen can fake emotions to mislead or intimidate.
These are the most iconic Cybermen.
