  • Is your quiet time with God in the morning, at night, or some other time in your day? Whenever you spend time with Him, the point is to connect. Are you turning to Jesus? He is available to you throughout your day, whenever you need Him or want to spend time with Him.
That’s the meaning of the final song on Katy’s Album, “Turn To Jesus.” And it was placed last on the album to serve as a reminder that no matter what your day looks like or where you find yourself, you can always turn to Jesus. Tune in as Candace asks Katy all about this song, as they begin to wrap up their conversations around her album.
Also, listen to the second half of the episode as Candace and Katy answer a listener question about encouraging your children to engage in church community.

I love Candace that you told your kids that they are going to church whether they want to or not. Not in a forcing way, but in a loving way knowing you know what is best for them!!

Thank you for answering the question of a child that doesn't desire to be at church! Going through that but with a strong, opinionated ten- year-old boy. Like you pointed out, as parents we are to cultivate within our homes a love and reverence for Christ. We have found ourselves needing to pray as a family in the car on the way to church because our child doesn't want to. I let them know "everyone has those struggles, even me. There are times where my heart might desire to stay home. But our hearts are deceitful. We are in need of the encouragement of fellowship and we need to fed God's truth.
While I cannot control what he believes in in the future, its our duty to shepherd and lead our children by example. Self-discipline is a hard one.

Hmm not trying to be rude but Dolly Parton is a big time advocate for the LGBT alphabet community and is very vocal about her support for boys and girls pretending to be different genders..just an odd role model to have as a Godly woman

I was also surprised by two Christian women thinking Dolly Parton is a hero!
