Love this! And I love that God has put me here to listen! I have been through a lot in my life and to look back and see the beautiful orchestration of God’s music in my life has me so full! I had cancer in my 30’s and a liver transplant in my 40’s. I am now in my 50’s and am overflowing with humility and gratefulness and have such an urgency to share it with everyone I meet! I started writing about my experience and hope that one day it will bring glory to God! Thank you both for sharing your hearts! We are all here to be disciples! I love what you said. I am not missing out If I am in the middle of Gods will! He has a plan and I need to be aware of what that is! His timing is perfect!🤎

Awww this was awesome!!! I actually have struggle with career and family and how to make things work. My family is first of course, I had to give up acting in a way. I like acting and I do mostly commercial work. But before getting married I wanted to focus in acting. But love changes everything and I live in an area where there is not much acting work so, I do little projects which I enjoy doing them. But I see friends working in a more professional setting in their acting and I do feel like I am missing out but I would never change being a present mother in my kids life.
And just like Candace. I have time to have a relationship with God now that I am at home with my boys. and He is everything to me. ❤❤❤
I listened to this but had to come watch to see the magazine moment. Incredible the way God works. I truly love to see it.

I hope you'll be able to visit Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard when you visit Cape Cod. P- town is also very unique, reminiscent of the Florida Keys. Traffic can be problematic especially if you're driving off Cape. The lower Cape along the ocean are the most beautiful lots of wildlife and selfie. It is expensive to visit, but I think it's worth the money. Relax and enjoy.

So glad I found this podcast. I saw a random post of Candace’s on Instagram about the Bible Recap. I checked it, jumped right in, was 3 weeks behind but doubled up days and quickly got caught up. Celebrated 100 days in the word and still going. Found this podcast and enjoyed it was with TLC as her first guest. Looking forward to this second season and loving how one Instagram post led to picking up my Bible, this podcast and many other faith based podcasts. Which I have never listened to before. God is good. He timing is perfect and he is always working!!!

i can totally relate! i have often said i feel like i'm in a white room with no windows and a closed door, screaming to the top of my lungs, and not being heard. a person with no "voice". when people didn't tell me things and i found out through the grapevine, it was another whisper that i was not important enough. like an invisible person. it is important to examine our behaviors and find out what drives them and then allow God to heal the pain

I love BIBLICAL introspection! God remove whatever needs to be gone! "What do you want me to think about?" WOW! I just said take captive those thought and turn to scripture. I'm NEVER missing out if I'm in God's will! 🤯SAME Candace! A year ago my INTENSE journey with JESUS began! I am struggling bc I want to be working and I struggle with not. But so feel like if I do, I will not continue where I am now! When I say to people our purpose is to go and make disciples, they don't get it bc culture tells us different. This IS exactly where I am today! God's perfect timing! I'm so struggling with feeling useless, not working. Sadly.

We need to look for Peace and Comfort! in Amos 3:7 teaches us that we need Prophets! Ephesians 2: 19-20 tells us the Gospel of Jesus Christ is built upon the foundation of Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself is the Cornerstone! in the troubled world we need to listen to God! Keep his Commandments! Are you Listen to them! Follow them! And how be it My church save it be Called in my name? for if a church be called in Moses name then it be Moses' church! If it be called in the name of a man then it be the church of a man!! 3 Nephi27:8 are you listening? Pray about it! ask God! is it Moses' Church? or the Church of Jesus Christ? Does it have Prophets and Apostles? Why? Do the research, and know whose church is it!

Our purpose on earth is to know God and glorify God so if you are a creator, a cleaner, a caregiver or an engineer, do it for God.
Candace, are you filtering out or Deleting the Chance to listen to living Prophets and Apostles? Why?
Is your relationship with Jesus Christ worth looking into the Book of Mormon? the whole book is another testament of Jesus Christ!
I absolutely hate when people say "I wanted to be the one to raise my kids" as though working moms don't raise their own kids. Every waking moment I have outside of 35-40 hours a week is devoted to my kids, and it actually does a lot for my kids to socialize and learn from others. On the flip side, what type of woman has so much of an ego and selfishness around motherhood that she thinks that she is the only one who can benefit her children when they're young? That she is the only one who is best to teach and spend time with them? How selfish, I think. That your kids WANT and need to spend hundreds of hours a week sitting there with you? Most stay at home moms I've met admit they dont feel connected during the day, they're cleaning, cooking, on their phone scrolling social media but yet they "dont want anyone else to raise their kids" I actually think this can be incredibly selfish.
its interesting that the ones who say they wanted to be the one to raise their kids, are always the ones who admit they weren't really happy (probably nor were their kids) such as Candace displays here. I'd rather work and then be truly present with my kids when I am with them, and grateful for my time with them, as I experience now. Quality and not quantity, Candace, as you figured out.
