The most she's done is the walking dead and anybody with actual taste hasn't seen that garbage, so.... yeah. Highly doubt that most people thinking they recognise her actually do recognise her. Probably just think they do cos of the ridiculously genetic British fem voice.
Whilst a lot of telly and film actors do come from a particular background and have certain accents primed, I do believe Matsura is quite recognisable, at least on British telly. I recognise her by her fave rather than voice. But yes, lots of voices are generic sort southern received English accents, because that's what Americans are comfortable with it seems. Sad but ho hum.
