Hey sir in frm it is important to take next frm exam under the period of 4 year in comparison to the first 1 so if we do only 2 cfa level will that be valid in the future or need is it important to give level 3 of cfa . Thanks for responding.

Depends on your career and time availability, FRM takes less time overall but CFA today is more valuable so you can look at starting with CFA first if you have the time it takes!

I would like to tell you a little about myself. I'm 35 yrs old and currently posted as Sr Manager (Scale 3) at Punjab National Bank. I had completed English Hons back in 2008 and completed MA & MBA (HR) through correspondence course in 2013.
I'm planning to add to my credentials and rise up as fast as possible in PNB (the fastest being a minimum of 3 yrs between promotions)
I'll be eligible for the next promotion process in 2024. So I've got a solid 3 years to go for the credentials. PNB prefers ICWA, CA, CFA, FRM
So what in your opinion should I go for, considering my background. Will an MBA in Finance (distance education) be of much help? I've thought of completing a few certificate courses in Treasury and Risk Management as well as Wealth management from IIBF. In addition to that, which one should I go for CFA or FRM? Currently I'm working as a branch head but would really love to switch over to Treasury/Risk Management/Investment Banking division of PNB
Hi Shuvajoy, we're so glad you enjoy our videos. Your thought process is excellent, you could opt for FRM to specialize in areas of treasury/risk management. Alternatively, you could pursue CFA - however that would be slightly expensive

I would suggest FRM if you are not a big fan of derivatives and equity Market.
