Diagnosing Daikin UF Error

Daikin UF Fault Description: Incorrect wiring /piping.
However I find the fault is most commonly caused by a faulty board (not incorrect wiring).

Haha each white cable is labeled “one” “two” “three” etc. It’s printed in small black writing that you can see up close but not on camera 😂

Hi, Mitch. How to check if the EEV is seized or not if electrically fine.

You need to buy an eev magnet. You take the coil off and out the magnet on and spin the magnet and you should feel resistance as you turn it. You can open and close it all the way. If you open it and put it back in and if you still have a restriction then the restriction is probably something else down the line. not the eev
Also with the Daikin app, you can see the pulse of the eev motor. That’s handy to know sometimes.

I've had a UF-02 error come up a few times. The unit seems to be running well (cooling as expected) then the unit shuts down and the wall remote starts flashing the error. It's been a little intermittent and acknowledging the error and turning it back on seems to fix it. Do I need to have the error in place (remote flashing) to make a proper diagnosis?

Why is the main PCB failed?

I don’t know the exact reason why it failed. All I know is it does not work correctly. I’d guess it was a power surge.
