@@kianbakker3691 Oh I'm interested in that. I wanted the classic rebel experience here. But I may well do that for a return to a previous rebels campaign!
Good evening man, been loving the interesting AI battle royale videos and the awesome tutorial on how to create our own custom unit in Rome Total War. I would love to try it out for myself during my free time. I actually have an interesting Medieval 2 Total War campain challenge in mind that I would like you to try out. It's called: "Bad Economy Challenge"‚ Rules: 1. You have to play as a faction which has the worst economy in the game. This means it has to have the least starting settlements and the worst geographical location in which the settlements can generate income. 2. You must lower all of your city's tax rate to the lowest. 3. You cannot enter into a trade agreement with other factions. 4. You cannot contruct buildings that help generate income and must destroy any destroyable buildings that help generate income. Remember to do this with your starting settlements and with any settlement you capture throughout the campaign. (You are allowed to have a level 1 port so that you can ferry your troops around. Upgrading the port or building more ports is not allowed) 5. You must use console commands to get rid of the exact amount of money that you recouped from destroying buildings that generate income. That is all. I hope you will try this out. Its one of the challenging ones that I can come up with so far. Cheers! :D
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH Yeah I agree with you. But then again, Medieval 2 is one of those Total War games where once you mastered every aspect of the game, almost every faction you play will be a walk in the park even with the highest difficulty setting. Which means that there is little to no challenge at all. So far I don't think any Total War UA-camr has ever tried this sort of challenge. So it would be interesting and fun to see you being the first to try it out!
I’ve been playing total war since rome I, I’m now 25 and am obsessing over your videos as I rediscover my love for the total war series again. I just finished your WRE campaign play through (much to my girlfriends delight). Keep it up buddy, love from a Brit in Dubai 👍🇦🇪
Giving orders on walls in M2TW is a bit broken compared to RTW. If a unit doesn't think it can fit in that wall section it will ignore the order, best thing to get them to engage is to double-click them into the next section past the unit you actually want them to attack, so they'll pile through straight into them.
It is awkward at times. I'm not sure how much I edited out but i tried all sorts to get them in place. It's a bug reason to avoid huge scale on Med II.
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH On balance, I think I still prefer sieges in M2TW compared to RTW, even though the pathing is a mess. They are less repetitive, and though it's rare you actually get to do a full defence of a three-layer citadel, those moments make it worth it. And at least you don't have a unit deciding to single file through a tiny alley you didn't even realise was navigable.
LETS GOOOOO, the next weeks will be glorious again with some chaotic anarchy in the baltics! Really thrilled how you gonna pull that one off, cuz personally, the Teutonic Dlc is pretty hard. Especially getting a good economy :') Also at 19:05, that was less of a stab, but more a fatal kick into a massive woodsmans balls XD Best kill animation in Medieval 2
Yeah, I try to showcase the animations in Med II as the slogging matches can be fun! I feel alright about this one as I think Scandinavia should be a solid base to work from... but we will see; as you say economy here could be troublesome!
32:35 i was recently watching a video on that, in order to trick them into coming out for the "weak" army there has to be at least a tile separation between the armies.
Only crusades left snd you have officialy become the rebel baron
Indeed! We will reach that summit one day. :D
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH I was wondering if you would ever do my sugestion of spawn only rtw rebel campaign,

This sounds brutal. Though actually, it would be more doable in a rebels campaign with the random unit spawns 😅

Haha yes, one of my favourite Total War channel with Legend, thank you for the video ! Go go rebels !
Cheers. Up the Anarchy!

@@JudgeEomer Oh yeah. Buggy things aside, the sieges in Medieval II are a huge step up and so much more fun. Teutonic has plenty of fun designs too!
I was in Hässleholm two days ago, did not expect it in a Total War video title.
Haha. It's a niche choice for a title pun but it seemed to fit the bill well enough!

Yes, good point! I didn't think that fully through. 😅
I love this campaign. And always happy to see the rebels in action!
Bring on the rebel Anarchy!
Finally! It's time for the Rebels to reenact the Battle on the Ice.
LegendOfTotalWar would be brutal
It’s too bad someone doesn’t make a rebel intro for these games
I have question is there a way to make a faction be able to horde? For example I would like to make it to where the Alemanni can turn into a horde.
Never mind I found a pretty good guide online for how to do it, but it could make for a good tutorial on the channel if it isn’t already one.
First yeahhh 🎉
