Dude I swear by the steam gun for fridge /freezer evaps like this. Goes so much faster!! I learned it about ten years ago from an old timer and I never looked back. A hair dryer just pisses me off nowadays.😂😂😂😂
@@harbosonius I use the Wagner for sxs 's as a backup while using the Bissell and it cuts down on time. I had to cobble a Dc fan to clear all the steam so I can see. Especially if I can't get the evap fan to stay on in diagnostics mode.
If you ever have a bad evaporator (EL) thermistor, on those older red InteliTrauls, and don't have one. You can unplug it and it'll do time INT time TERM defrost forever. The new blue ones will do that for 72 hours then lockout defrost until reset or you replace the probe
Nice work!!! I agree with Nate Peterson, get a steamer it's much faster.
Tip for those units. When you don’t have a sensor, you can use the discharge line sensor temporarily. All three sensors are the same.
@@BLUE_COLLAR_REFER oh yea absolutely. Just have to splice them in because the plugs are different good each one.
Use a steamer. Get the $99 Wagner automotive steamer. Takes 9 minutes to preheat.

I hope that's customer price on that sensor. Geeze I need to switch to commercial appliances.
That's just the price advertised by my supplier when looked up online by anyone. When logged in the price cuts by 50%
