- Everyone needs to watch out for this SCAM on VINTED around Christmas 2024 and all year round, Scammers are everywhere and now they in the Vintage Toy Community this Xmas on Vinted the second hand Marketplace App.

I had this myself , luckily I managed to get my money back .
I used reverse google image search and nothing came up.
Luckily a family member works for the delivery company and spotted it early and gave me evidence .
Transaction was stopped and the seller was blocked off the site but I know they can just open another account .
Just waiting on my refund to come through .

Working in the banking industry you see so many people trying to claim against these sorts of scams it’s so hard to get your money back

Iv been scammed 3 times this week but got my money back all three times it oiss me off as it ruins it for genuine buyers an sellers
Ahh man, thats sucks, they have definitely ruined it, Vinted has started to crack down on them, but they still pop up. always be careful!

What if the user has a normal name with some numbers behind and the google reverse image doesn't work? Should I buy it?
I think use your best judgment, if you have any doubts, dont buy.

Id get onto Vinted if you havent already, they are the ones that should be able to help.
also i have noticed the scammers seem to call them "Figurines"
they do dont they!
What about the muppets who sell toys for what you think is a good deal, but really they just want a loan till payday... then blag it got lost in delivery ect....refund on ebay thats one that boils my p..s!
oh yeah of course, eBay is a tough place full of scammers, I've been targeted a few times since going full time, but luckily not lost anything. should do a video on it really, thanks for watching!

@@toyscavenger no probs. Thanks for the information. 2 days is barely anything when it comes to compensation timescales. 2 weeks more reasonable
Make sure that you transfer your money in each transaction. Vinted is not transferring money for many Vinted Members and they block accounts while they owe money. If want to use them transfer you money immediately. I’m in a battle at the moment to try to get my 1200 euros and I know someone else being blocked out of their account and it has over 2000 euros on it. Be Warned.
