There's a mayan city sumerged in the lake call The Atlántida Maya. Lake Atitlán is the deepest lake in Central América like 350 meters. All the shots that you take in this lake are so beautiful and wonderful.
Probably one of the most beautiful lake in the world. All around the lake there are several villages (aldeas) named after Jesus's apostles. Crossing the lake with a small boat when the weather is good (be careful : storms can be terrible on this lake) is definitely worth it, because the surrounding villages offer artisanal wonders. It's highly recommended to speak Spanish well or to be accompanied by a local if you want to benefit from advantageous prices. The prices mentioned in the video for bread and other foodstuffs are absolutely prohibitive. Our friends got scammed 😮.
