If you want to make an object show with the traditional format. Do it to it's fullest potential. My object show will be the traditional format, but biggest goal with it is to use it to it's fullest potential. My ideas. 24 contestants Contestant vote. (Not saying all viewer vote shows are bad. I want room for character development, serious tone and atmosphere all of that good stuff.) Strategy (Nothing like Heather's multiple close calls early on.) Blindsides Every character having a part, even the hosts and interns. Good story arcs about the characters and the host themself. This is all I am planning to have, I just need to get everything ready to go.
In the point of quantity of contestants, I believe too many contestants would also result in lack of character development and / or arc. Here a tip on creating characters. Add a good amount of characters lacking limbs for 2 reasons. 1. Makes the cast more unique 2. Less effort to animate Examples are like a ball character. Instead of giving you ball character limbs. Make the have none and they just roll around. Less effort for you and the ball technically doesn't need limbs. It truly is great that you are making this series to teach the new comers of the osc who want to make their own show how to make a quality show instead of something that may be rushed
Would making a show about objects becoming assassins without blood or extreme violence be okay Like cartoon violence for example would that fit alright with children?

It was originally going to be called YHIO (Your Honour I *Object*) But recently I've changed it to BFYL (Battle For Yoyle-Land) After over a year I've finally finished making all S1 Assets. Nunchucks lose popularity, getting them a quick elimination
This is a great help! Thanks! I’m excited for the next video! I really am interested in making an object show, I’ve gotten it planned out, and I’m kind of on writers block for episode one, I’ve roughdrafted 6 scenes! My OS is planned to be 14 episodes with a cast of 14 characters! 😁
This was my first pretend object show.* Name: Future Island* Contestants: Ballpen, Colored Pencil, Ruler, Paper & Tape* Prize: An Island* Concept: Competition *These are some of the contestants at the beggining, but there are a few more that I forgot. *The same prize as BFDI! But not Dream Island. *My brother and I both created Future Island, but I was the one who came up with the plan to create it. *We renamed it several times and now it's name is Lego Objects.
I can remember having an idea of an object show of my own, and I can remember ideas for some of my characters, maybe three. There was Battery: She was going to be one of those shy sensitive characters, and there would be someone with a love interest with her. Someone who was always patient with her and blah blah blah Then there was grape: He was like Rocky, but instead of doing nothing but stand smile and barf, he would actually be one of those dumb characters. He was small, and had I imagined him with a high pitch voice. And there was Propeller: He was part of a group, which was three characters. Him, a keyboard, and another object I can’t remember. They were suppose to be the bullies of the show, a little inspiration from Blocky, Pen, and Eraser. He had no arms, and he barley showed any emotions or expressions, most of the time he would have like a bored facial expression. He wasn’t suppose to be emo or anything, it’s like, I just gave him the option to not show emotion if he doesn’t feel like it. I had this scene in my head: Two objects would be talking, then the frame cuts to Propeller flying, holding a water balloon between his legs. He drops it onto one of them and makes a big splash get one of them or both wet. Then he flies back to the Keyboard and Other Object I can’t remember, and high fives them with his feet as both of them laugh, while Propeller just has that same face.
I imagined a finale in my show of 120 characters. Scissors Male Sarcastic and Mean Baton (like a relay race baton) Female Bossy and Mean I imagine the viewers wondering how Baton managed to get to the finale when she's basically mean blah blah blah.. The last challenge is a race to climb a tree and scissors won, he was an experienced climber and had the legs to do so Baton was a gold medalist in running, hammer throw, javelin throw and long jump. But had silver and bronze in Climbing and Pole Vault!
I thought of 10 characters Corn Dog Hexagon Helium Periodic Table Game Controller Leaf Rubik's Cube Phantom Ruby Nightmare Plushie Fossil but I can't think of a host...

what if I take characters from dead object shows like Candy from Object Overload
7:34
I knew my show was gonna be a lil short I just wanted to see how it would affect or how well it does. I enjoy making objects show and this video is a perfect this I needed to get started. But thanks for the tips.
2 questions I have about characters I have:
1) I used a rook whos personality is being pompous and vain. And i know a rook is in some other object shows? Is that ok?
2) I used a wine glass whos personality is being clumsy, is this classified as too ‘adult’
It truly is great that you are making this series to teach the new comers of the osc who want to make their own show how to make a quality show instead of something that may be rushed
Would making a show about objects becoming assassins without blood or extreme violence be okay
Like cartoon violence for example would that fit alright with children?
haha I have 65 characters just in the first season haha oh god.
It was originally going to be called YHIO (Your Honour I *Object*) But recently I've changed it to BFYL (Battle For Yoyle-Land) After over a year I've finally finished making all S1 Assets. This won't be much of a contest show, btw. I can't wait until the first episode is out.
name of contestants
@@kylesharpe865 I'll name a few,
Yoyleberry Bubble Tea
Lettuce
Ball
Nick-Le
Yoyle Cake
Golf Ball
Tennis Ball
Sushi
Neon Light
Pickle
Milkshake
Ruby
Diamond
4:14 Ok so I wanna ask if a Net Butterfly/Net should not be used on making an object characters. Because I made a concept about net that he has a foot, no arms, his face was on the net and his body was horizontal. It is ok?
I'm so sorry, I have bad grammar and yeah.
"Dont use meme characters"
Aw man! I wanted to make a Fidget Spinner object that acts cringy that would be the 2nd eliminated.
Pizzachu I have a meme character too ok
When you said “don’t copy characters” the amount of object shows have Nickel and 8-Ball
For the cast part,if you think you're cast is pretty big then my old show Battle for something which now is the fight for something had 48 contestants and 3 hosts 1 host and 2 co host being a total of 51
Don't worry the cast is being cut down in the fight for something.
I made an object show on flipaclip with 120 characters and here were the really cool things that unfolded on the show!
Pixel gets eliminated because of small screentime
Scissors wins the show (I planned for him to win before I made the first episode)
Piano Key gets betrayed by Landline
Gaming PC gains more and more popularity, forming an alliance with Scissors.
Nunchucks lose popularity, getting them a quick elimination
holy cow, 120?!
Concept: Food And Drugs Apparently Live.
Basically food and drugs.
This was my first pretend object show.*
Name: Future Island*
Contestants: Ballpen, Colored Pencil, Ruler, Paper & Tape*
Prize: An Island*
Concept: Competition
*These are some of the contestants at the beggining, but there are a few more that I forgot.
*The same prize as BFDI! But not Dream Island.
*My brother and I both created Future Island, but I was the one who came up with the plan to create it.
*We renamed it several times and now it's name is Lego Objects.
thanks

DO I SMELL PANIC AT THE DISCO?
“Memes could get old very quickly”
JacknJellify: That won’t stop me
The joke is because of the Press X to Doubt meme in BFB 20
With that one though it still works perfectly without the context of it being a meme
HandsPlasticX aren’t wrong
i hate that scene lol, the 🅱en scene does it better
I can remember having an idea of an object show of my own, and I can remember ideas for some of my characters, maybe three. There was Battery: She was going to be one of those shy sensitive characters, and there would be someone with a love interest with her. Someone who was always patient with her and blah blah blah
Then there was grape: He was like Rocky, but instead of doing nothing but stand smile and barf, he would actually be one of those dumb characters.
Scissors
Male
Sarcastic and Mean
Baton (like a relay race baton)
Female
Bossy and Mean
I imagine the viewers wondering how Baton managed to get to the finale when she's basically mean blah blah blah..
The last challenge is a race to climb a tree and scissors won, he was an experienced climber and had the legs to do so
Baton was a gold medalist in running, hammer throw, javelin throw and long jump. But had silver and bronze in Climbing and Pole Vault!
@@preciousgidi7070 "120 characters" Well... That's a lot.
I thought of 10 characters
Corn Dog
Hexagon
Helium
Periodic Table
Game Controller
Leaf
Rubik's Cube
Phantom Ruby
Nightmare Plushie
Fossil
but I can't think of a host...
8:23
Literally nobody :
BFB : *am i a joke to you with my 46 contestants*
64 before the split
bfb be flexing with 64 contestants
8:55 it’s super . Dumb . Joke . Show
Instead of making M&M for both my object show which was cancelled even though I only made 2 episodes of it, and I used N&N for my comics on Instagram about a zombie apocalypse and he is known as N&N instead of M&M also I made N&N a Russian antidote for curing mild symptoms of a zombie infection “but only mild symptoms”
at 1:32 you speaking fits with fries talking lmao
DominusDev especially when he said “have.”
Omg ye XD
“Don’t copy characters from other shows”
Battle for Grandma: *8 B A L L*
3:15 oh my god thanks for this part because I thought it was to limiting but I still thought that for example my character shield I thought was ok until I saw that it has been done before but thank you for saying this it will help me so much
Character Design
Name:Marshmallow On A Stick

5:08 *You let 8-Ball get eliminated. Contest failed.*
4:01 BFDIA 12: Not so fast
Thank you for the tips I am making a object show myself. :)
The food battle prize of 1B dollars
Pizza.potato.bag of chips.frys(inspired by bfb).ice block(like a cusoin of bfdis one).popsical.icecream(and cone).cookie.banana.cake.cossont.strawberry
And the host super mini freezer
And the show is in a freezer lol
This is really helpful! Im so inspired by so many creators to do an object show aswell! Hopefully mine turns out well
The best object shows are:
Battle For Battle For Battle Gay
one
Shape World
Island Dream For Battle
Amogus
BFB has around 64 conteastants. and rejoins, and maybie there will be recomended character auditions!
you pretty much predicted it
Wuggolo:16 to 20 contestants.. me:21!
Edit:I am doing teams after 2 people are out what has happened also my show is named A.R.S
4:59 . OHHH ITS PARAPPA THE RAPPER HAT YAY, is this the 1000 comment?
Yes
For all I know there are 36 current shows that have 8-ball, including mine
So about the copying
yeesh
8 Ball is a special case
How to animate gore
But on a serious note, that actually helped me a lot, will the next episode feature how to manage with contestants’ personality?
thanks this video helped me make a object show!

I must say, this is an amazing video! I have a question that might be a *little* off topic... a bit... got any tips on what flash or any animation app to use if you want to make an animatic object show such as: Paper Puppets Take 2, Twisted Turns, etc.
