I see a couple concerns. 1) PSU is 3 pts from losing to both Minnesota and USC. 2) SMU was just a Group of 5 School and BSU is a Group of 5 school and neither of those results are particularly helpful for PSU in preparing them for ND. 3) ND is the more battle tested team and has had more success against better competition. 4) ND has had a lot of injuries that could catch up with it at any time 5) ND has largest scoring point margin of victory in the country Tough to know what'll happen as I feel ND should win but game could go either way.
1.) Counter point ND lost to Northern Ill which to me is worse than a close win. Plus USC and Minn are good teams. The BIG was rough this year by the fact that USC is 7-6 with 2 of those wins coming against LSU and Texas A&M. This speaks volumes to how good the BIG ten this year. 2.) SMU was ranked 10th and Boise was the 9th rank team? Don't just hand wash away those teams because they are/were G5. I would say that preparing for Jeanty helps to prepare for ND rushing attack and preparing for Jennings helps prepare for Leonard scrambles. Also playing in the B1G helps prepare for the line play. 3.) How is ND the more battle tested team? PSU SOS is 17th in the nation and ND is 31st. PSU has faced an equal defense in OSU and better offenses in Oregon. ND hasn't played a team of PSUs caliber yet. While PSU has played 2 teams better than ND (of course both were Ls) 4.) I think this might be a bigger point. I hear Love is banged up and in a brace, He is a big part of their offense. PSU also has carter out but I think against ND he is less needed than if they were playing a pro style offense. 5.) ND does have a large scoring differential but they have played some very weak teams. The good teams they've played have been close games. I agree I think it'll be a close game that could go either way. This feels like a game where a big mistake by either team might be the nail in the coffin. Outside of that I trust PSU to win.
Penn state has lost to any talent better than them. Nd just bullied the sec champs who are far more talented than penny state. Add Leonard. Penn st better players than nd? Omg. The depth we have rn is better than what they have being fresh off of boise st
Georgia does not have more talent than PSU. PSU has more first rounders playing than Georgia. The SEC was over hyped this year and that Georgia team was not great. And more to that Fact ND doesn't have more talent than PSU. The best players on that field are 1.) Carter 2.) Tyler warren 3.) Nick singleton (I would normally put love here but hes banged up) 4) Allar. This is backed up by PFF grades.
@@patrickclifford4325 laughable you think Penn State has more talent than Georgia. Last 5 years Penn State's average recruiting classes rank 15th. Georgia ranks 2nd. Its not even comparable, Penn State is nowhere close to Georgia's talent.
@@issaccody1161 mmm recruiting rankings how's Alabama, Auburn, LSU doing with those recruiting rankings. Even FSU has a #12 total team recruiting rank and they had 1 win. I'm willing to bet there is more first round talent on PSUs roster right now than on Georgia's.
@@issaccody1161 if PSU loses it would probably be because of a untimely turnover or hopefully not a bad injury to one of their key players. My assumption is that if ND loses its because the game plays out as it should. ND can of course win this game but PSU has more paths to victory imo.
uhhh you guys should watch the full USC ND game

God, Country, Notre Dame!!!
Penn State 38
nd 14
nds style of play and dependability of turnovers is not sustainable
I agree PSU will win and I agree on your point around sustainability but I don't see PSU scoring 38. I hope to be wrong though
