I know all teams grow and gel from the start of the season to tournament time, but the difference for some teams just seems so much more pronounced in the NIL/transfer portal era. Teams with really slow starts catch fire by tournament time and end up being much more competitive. Frankly, I'm glad Illinois caught Washington early. I'm not sure they won't pick off some unexpected W's in late January/early February, especially at home where they'll be dealing with some teams who traveled cross-country for that game.
You guys sound stupid and slow Michigan State Spartans is earning their wins ,and at the top after falling in the beginning of the season now back at the top ! Where is Illinois some where in the middle kill that noise haters!

Agreed. Washington is going to jump some teams at home. Very happy Illini left there with a win.
