My top pocket notebooks are the Log & Jotter and Field Notes, both are excellent! I finish a notebook every 4-6 weeks, so I believe I am on notebook #14 since I started using them regularly, so I have experience with a variety of notebooks at this point. L&J always has that plastisized-card stock cover and it is pretty durable, but depending on the style of Field Notes, there are some which have similar feels and properties. They are similar in price per notebook and I like the L&J monthly subscription, while I love the overall variety that can be found with Field Notes. Had their subscription for a year and very much enjoyed it, so now with L&J on top of that for the last year, I have enough notebooks for years. If you are looking for other high quality notebooks, I would check out MUJI notebooks, from Japan. High quality and nice paper, with the only downside being that they don't have fun designs on the cover. Either way, good video and thanks for reviewing it!
I am just finishing up my first notebook and starting to set my new one up. I'm going to use the Field Notes Great Smoky Mountains one. I actually grabbed it by accident, meant to use a plain tan one. I can't wait for the next Log + Jotter. They do seem nice. Thanks for checking the video out!!
