dont know if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last months =)
I was having a crapshoot of a day! Then I found this video, I laughed so hard,I peed on myself ! Hilarious Miss Majura ! Thanks for making my day ! 😎👍✌
While these are all memorable riffs, that garbage disposal is slowly making a name for himself. 😁 If you do this again, switch it up and flush the toilet or something thrown into a garbage can(Lars' St Anger drum kit)😂
01:01 - Riff #1 - Deep Purple - Smoke on the water 01:20 - Riff #2 - Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 01:48 - Riff #3 - Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven 02:12 - Riff #4 - Oasis - Wonderwall 02:40 - Riff #5 - Extreme - More Than Words 03:12 - Riff #6 - AC/DC - Back In Black 03:47 - Riff #7 - Scorpins - Rock You Like A Hurricane 04:01 - Riff #8 - Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams 04:37 - Riff #9 - Metallica - Enter Sandman 05:14 - Riff #10 - Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
OMG...warum habe ich dieses Video noch nicht gesehen...hahahaha...Ich fühle Mitleid und Schmerz zugleich...aber gleichzeitig auch so gelacht! göttlich!
Okay, I hate one and two, but I can’t hate three. Number four sucks, and I don’t even know what five is. I also don’t know what six is, but my wife would. Jen, I don’t like or dislike Green Day, And now, I have no idea.
It did'nt help that you made a $2000 signature guitar sound like crap and out of tune. Of course Ola is to blame for this, and you for taking the challenge anyway. Luckily you looked much happier in the camper van. Moral conclusion: never compromise your happiness. It hurts me to see you suffer so badly. :-(
I had originally started my formal education as an elementary music teacher, I realized that I could not teach orchestra to grade schoolers and still love music as I do. Massive respect to those who can! Support music education!!
Jen You are one of the 10 best guitar players in the country!!! Dont beat your self up, you are an amazing woman, look what you have accomplish not every one make it, God blessed you with a great talent... Or Gift I wish you a great success on what ever future endeavors you decide to take, God bless you always .... YOU ARE UNIQUE!!! A bright Star!!!!
Number 4 is close to the scene from the classic movie "Animal House" when they were having a frat party and there was a guy sitting on the steps playing a flower hippie song to 3 or 4 girls and Bluto (John Belushi) yanked the acoustic guitar out of the guys hands and smashed the shit out of it into pieces. Hilarious!
Same place as you on the metallica ones... I would have added Zombie from the cranberries. Playing that one was my kryptonite when I was in a coverband. Never felt like doing harakiri before having to play that one over and over each show ;p
i started playing Smoke on the water a couple months ago again, the rest of the song is fun to play. Amazing how much different i sound now vs 35yrs ago playing it.
I actually still love More Than Words and Enter Sandman, haha. You know what I absolutely loathe? Seven Nation Army. It's not even a riff. It's unmusical, it's dumb, it's bad choice of notes, and anyone with a room temperature IQ is really into it, which is one more reason for me to hate it with a burning passion. Don't be a microbe and reject Seven Nation Army, kids.
I would gladly never hear the riff (or the whole song, for that matter) of 'Sweet Home Alabama' ever again. Can someone 'cancel' that goddamn song for me, please?
Search here for (Rockcandy Live In Toronto 1988). Phil Collen joins the band for one song! Enjoy the Show!!! Also search here for (Sinful Demo Album 1985) featuring Nuno Bettencourt B4 Extreme and J. Anes B4 Rockcandy!!!!!!
Hahahaha! I hate them all too . Finally feel not alone. But I would trade Back in Black for that Mr.Big to be with you. That's the one that really can't stand for now 30 years. I'm so proud of myself. Hahaha!
I think that I know why you hate them. Else than nothing else matters, their all wrong. Smell Like Teen Spirit is ... ....... . ... ..... . . rhythm. Plus most of them are played through metal config, so most are distortion. Back In Black sounds metal a little. The Enter Sand Man needs quick palm mute, James was always full of nerves and timing. hmm...
One of the classic scenes from the comedy movie "Wayne's World" is Wayne and Garth at the music store and Wayne begins to play a guitar on sale and the clerk stops him immediately and points to a sign that says "No Stairway To Heaven"! Wayne looks at the camera and wails "No Stairway! Denied!"
The pure distain you have for these riffs mixed with your sheer shredding talent you have playing them is a hilarious juxtaposition. This was awesome 🤣🤘
shockingly accurate... Im pretty sure most guitarists hate those songs... because we have been forced to learn them and teach them... and they are far far far too overplayed (especially the green day and Metallica ones).... I cringed the whole way through this list.
But they did pay the bills didn’t they? Doesn’t it make you feel good though when a student plays them correctly or even better, they find a make to them their own and begin finding their own voices even playing songs we’ve heard being butchered way too many times? At least you don’t need to give lessons anymore.
I taught guitar for a several years decades ago. First thing I taught my students was "how to tune the guitar". Also mainly focused on "rhythm playing and meter". Sounds to me like you need some lessons my dear.
I started to feel jealous due to all those lovely guitars, then I realized that I will be happy with just my pair when they are reassembled (both Warmoth projects which include the circuit I invented).
I completely get this! and I blame Radio, if radio keeps playing the same songs over and over again, it becomes brainwashy and you could almost call that torturous, it ruins the songs for me. At my work I hear the same songs 5 times a day! every work day! and for a musician this is hell
Hehehe, you know when I said 90s manchester...I was particularly NOT thinking of Oasis...Nothing else matters? Love the cover by Ismael Dieves. Great songs which means every beginner (me?) Wants to learn them...bit unfortunate if you happen to be guitar teacher...you get hammered with the same old song. Ps can you teach me to play......🤣
As I've read the title of the video I've thought: "Mmm...I think the 1st place will be Smoke on the water" :P Who knows, why?! XDXDXD By the way, if you want to suffer one time for two riffs you can still teach "Boulevard of Broken Wonderwall" as long as they're the same chords in the same order XD
The faces you make remind me of myself so bad. Overplayed songs are a pain to have to play. Imagine hearing"play free burd" 27.9 thousand times.....and i play death metal ffs. TY Jen
Hey JenJen, how you doing latelly? I just noticed that you show kinda showed your guitar collection.....now I want to see THE WHOLE COLLECTIONSSSSSSSSSS
@@JenMajuraOfficial oh now I understand 😇 I guess this could happen to every musician. I remember once James Hetfield mentioned to be kinda tired of playing Nothing Else Matters in most concerts; however, he didn't want the fans to feel upset about it.
The fact each guitar is out of tune (on purpose or deliberately) just makes your frustration all The better 😂amazing
In summary; 10 riffs banned from every music shop. Ever.
dont know if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last months =)
@Kalel Ty definitely, I have been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
No Sweet Child of Mine?
I was having a crapshoot of a day! Then I found this video, I laughed so hard,I peed on myself ! Hilarious Miss Majura ! Thanks for making my day ! 😎👍✌
And now please the 10 most unique songs requested by your students
While these are all memorable riffs, that garbage disposal is slowly making a name for himself. 😁 If you do this again, switch it up and flush the toilet or something thrown into a garbage can(Lars' St Anger drum kit)😂
01:01 - Riff #1 - Deep Purple - Smoke on the water
01:20 - Riff #2 - Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
01:48 - Riff #3 - Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
02:12 - Riff #4 - Oasis - Wonderwall
02:40 - Riff #5 - Extreme - More Than Words
03:12 - Riff #6 - AC/DC - Back In Black
03:47 - Riff #7 - Scorpins - Rock You Like A Hurricane
04:01 - Riff #8 - Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
04:37 - Riff #9 - Metallica - Enter Sandman
05:14 - Riff #10 - Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Anyway, here's Wonderwall...
Honestly, I wanna learn Wonderwall JUST for that gag
I wish I could put 2 thumbs up on that comment.
Hey Jen! Guten abend!!! Your Green day singing faces were spectacular. The Metallica burp was priceless though🤓🤟
the fact that she uses her sink's disposal to represent bad riffs is hilarious
I think the problem with "more than words" and "stairway" is that you heard it way too many times on radio. They're both freakin amazing.
Agreed
I agree with both of you
I have a friend that heard stairway for the FIRST time a few days ago, he told me he didn't think it would be so good and he really loved the song
OMG...warum habe ich dieses Video noch nicht gesehen...hahahaha...Ich fühle Mitleid und Schmerz zugleich...aber gleichzeitig auch so gelacht! göttlich!
I loved how the sink looked like a toilet for a second! Lol!
Ironically, Jen singing Oasis is now on my list of favorite things. ;-)
we need a full version of that!!!
Wir lieben es, wenn du dich aufregst ❣️😆🤣🤣
I’m going to need Jen to do a covers album of all these songs now!
Okay, I hate one and two, but I can’t hate three. Number four sucks, and I don’t even know what five is. I also don’t know what six is, but my wife would. Jen, I don’t like or dislike Green Day, And now, I have no idea.
The ultimate reason why those riffs are hated coz those are really good riffs that are overplayed only because they're good.
It did'nt help that you made a $2000 signature guitar sound like crap and out of tune.
Of course Ola is to blame for this, and you for taking the challenge anyway.
Luckily you looked much happier in the camper van.

This makes me happy. So many classsic tunes I just can’t stand either! Great to see someone actually say it!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
10 riffs you hate the most. But your bank manager wish you wrote . Love you Jen.
Die ungestimmte Gitarre bei Oasis und Led Zeppelin und ACDC (die schwarze Ibanez) unterstreicht deinen Groll, Jen... 😂
Agree on the oasis one , I hate that song.
the Green Day one had me laughing so hard!!
C'mon, Jen. We all had to start somewhere! :-D
Excelente Jen te quiero mucho !
Cookies top ten interruptions during interviews ???
I had originally started my formal education as an elementary music teacher, I realized that I could not teach orchestra to grade schoolers and still love music as I do.
Massive respect to those who can!
Support music education!!
Yes I love Metallica but always that song

Sehr witzig und dazu auch sehr verstimmte Gitarren. Einfach nur erste Sahne Baby.😂😂😂
Honesty 👍😁
Yeah but I bet you love you some Riff Raff
Jen, I adore you! Loved this stream!
Is there a history behind your Ibanez with the Freak Kitchen cow? It doesn't look like a sticker!
You know what I....HATE?!?? When people play guitars NOT TUNED!!!! lol
as with you I DESPISE Playing wonderwall :)
Extreme blearghhh🤮
Overplayed agreed! Now we know the songs that get under your skin. What are your favorite riffs that we may not know about?
After hearing Extreme I was expecting you to follow with Mr Big :)
I know guitar stores where they have a poster saying "Forbidden to play Stairway to Heaven"
Same place as you on the metallica ones... I would have added Zombie from the cranberries. Playing that one was my kryptonite when I was in a coverband. Never felt like doing harakiri before having to play that one over and over each show ;p
Omg I love your PIA !!!!! I have also Vai s Ibanez but Jem 7V
i started playing Smoke on the water a couple months ago again, the rest of the song is fun to play. Amazing how much different i sound now vs 35yrs ago playing it.
Lol I agree!!!!
You teach to 50 year old beginners?
My students would never agree to learn these "boomer riffs" 😂
BTW: She only chose ten riffs / songs to show ALL OF HER GUITARS ;-) Luv u JenJen...
That's slick 😅

Should be the riffs you are sick of teaching.
Awesome 😂😂

Everyone: I hate that riff because...bla bla bla
Me: I hate Coldplay! ALWAYS!

and the clerk stops him immediately and points to a sign that says "No Stairway To Heaven"! Wayne looks at the camera and wails "No Stairway! Denied!"
COME ON!!!! TWO Metallica legendary riffs from the legendary Black Album?!?! ;-; omg...
Yes! All of this.
The pure distain you have for these riffs mixed with your sheer shredding talent you have playing them is a hilarious juxtaposition. This was awesome 🤣🤘
Nice video. Very funny.
shockingly accurate... Im pretty sure most guitarists hate those songs... because we have been forced to learn them and teach them... and they are far far far too overplayed (especially the green day and Metallica ones).... I cringed the whole way through this list.
😁😁😁
Remembered me to the guitar shop in "Waynes World". NO STAIRWAY. Thanks for this laughing moment on a worse day.
Seeing you playing smells like teen spirit with that Steve Vai Signature guitar..... I think I puked in my mouth....
But they did pay the bills didn’t they? Doesn’t it make you feel good though when a student plays them correctly or even better, they find a make to them their own and begin finding their own voices even playing songs we’ve heard being butchered way too many times? Maybe top 20 of the most popular and loved songs have this riffs.
Totally agree with you there Jen. ESPECIALLY #1-4 and 6. I HATE those songs in general.
I literally love every single riff on the list
Did you just use different guitars per example for the hell of it? Haha 😂
And what about a Sunday with the 10 riffs you enjoy playing the most or enjoy teaching
I’m with you on this Jen!
there is some heartbroken zitty faced teenage kid who just learned Wonderall crying right now. lol
I thought you loved all things Nuno Jen Jen? Lol!!! This was awesome!
So, and now the ten most popular riffs. ;-)
OK
The 1k like🔥
Agree with u
They're becoming intolerable
I líke some riffs but I laught on the video so much that this deserve a comment.. You are awesome 👌😁
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🥞
You also played my favorite songs by metallica but I know you hate those riffs
Mmm, bottles clinking… hahaha!! She’s fun. I like!!
1 song I definitely played too often is Hendrix Voodoo child on the 11th level of my amp
Wow, just found out who you are I am new to playing guitar :). Nice vid.!
The faces you make remind me of myself so bad. Overplayed songs are a pain to have to play. Imagine hearing"play free burd" 27.9 thousand times.....and i play death metal ffs. TY Jen
The problem is that they are al so fuking amazing that u hear it on the radio so much
😊
I know how to play 8 of those 10 riffs :/ , realization hurts....
Practice, friend, practice will make you perfect.
On 4:45 it's an almost iconic papa Het face, yyyeah!
If you are the teacher you make the lesson make a new list for yourself and your students.
nice! now do 10 riffs you love the most :) would like to see that
isnt it really 9... I mean Boulevard Of Wonderwall is out there :)
Stairway to Heaven?? What about the forbidden riff!!!!
I wonder what ola would say about this, he probably will agree and disagree with some of these songs.
Hey JenJen, how you doing latelly? I just noticed that you show kinda showed your guitar collection.....now I want to see THE WHOLE COLLECTIONSSSSSSSSSS
Please... can i have your signature guitar pleaseeeeee...
#1 I'm right there with you.
The rest doesn't bother me as much:
Freak Kitchen ftw.
Metallica is way too cool to be hated. Icons of music
Like I said, I really dig Metallica and in this specific case it’s just that I over-over-played it for decades. I love Metallica
@@JenMajuraOfficial oh now I understand 😇 I guess this could happen to every musician. I remember once James Hetfield mentioned to be kinda tired of playing Nothing Else Matters in most concerts; however, he didn't want the fans to feel upset about it.
