Hey! Thanks for watching!
I'm Paula. I'm a former professional cook and overall eating enthusiast.
I started this channel because I love making dinner and I love eating dinner.. but mostly it's because all I've ever wanted in life is to have my own cooking show. When I didn't get a callback after submitting my tape to Food Network in 2003, I put that dream to rest for a while. Until I clued in, I can do it myself on UA-cam!
I love sharing the tips I've learned from professional kitchens and tidbits from my holistic nutrition education. But mostly I just want to show you how to make dinner. (See what I did there?) 😄
My cooking style is simple but flavourful. I cook with a lot of veggies but I'm not vegetarian. For me, a typical dinner is plant-forward, budget-friendly, non-fussy, and really delicious. As a step-mom, I make a lot of family-friendly comfort food, as well as a lot of simple, realistic dinners for one (or two).

I love how unfussy you are in terms of technique. Straight to the point with great results. On a side note, it's been driving me crazy to think of who you remind me off in terms of mannerism, but I just figured it out. Roseanne! It's the no nonsense, straight talking thing. Love it 😁
Feeling re-inspired to make my own bread again after watching this!
🍞
Only 16 mins late! Enjoy!
I always use an Electric knife, Love the new kitchen, Drawers are the best for storing anything as easier to find your appliances, etc.,
Love making and eating bread
Unfortunately, I can no longer tolerate gluten. But I still like and appreciate the video.
I say this so often with your videos....yum ❣💯 Thank you for making this a "Yes I can do this!" recipe.... Calling it "Cando Bread!" Take care
This is probably the most accesible and enjoyable bread baking videos I've ever seen. I need to restock on my bread flour and will be doing your recipe in the next few days. Also your kitchen is beyond gorgeous, I kept getting distracted, reminds me of Food52 of NYTimes cooking kitchens
Aww I’m really happy to hear that! I hope this bread recipe treats you well. It’s become my go-to when I don’t have time for sourdough!
Breadddddddddd
Wondering if you could use the old American cups, ounces, etc... form of measurements also, For an Old American who can't change his "spots"?🥶😂😇✌🏻 Uh, WON'T! 😂🤪✌🏻
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! THANKS!!👍🏻
As a total beginner I appreciate this video!
I love to hear it!
Added extra that you never get with store bought or even fresh bakery bought - the smell!!
Yesss the smell
I won't lie, I've bought a candle once called "Fresh Baked Bread" and it didn't disappoint but it did make me hungry haha.
@@kaiju_k5042 I would buy that candle! I knew someone who swore she sold her house on the first day on the market because she baked bread before the open house. LOL
Hey Paula, any reason why you don't add any sugar or fat?
Only because I wanted to keep it as basic as possible! Just the essentials.
Kinda what? it around?😂🤪✌🏻
Uh, you went a little light on the butter no? 😂😎✌🏻
I love you
Thank you so much!
What temp did you bake it at??
Oh jeez I can't believe I missed that! 425! (Added to the description). Thank you!
