- The Razer Synapse software is full of features that allow you to customize the appearance and features available on your devices. The Chroma Studio allows you to make custom lighting effects for your Razer peripherals. Y
With Chroma Studio you can layer color lighting effects and create completely unique profiles for your device. The layering structure gives you the ability to add multiple effects ontop of each other for things such as ripple typing effects.
Each effect has its own series of settings and color options that you can choose from. These settings give you complete control over the colors, such as speed and angle.
This tutorial shows you the basic of how the razer chroma studio works, and how to control the effects correctly. With this basic knowledge you can stack effects to create your own desired look that will suit your setup properly.

When I open quick selections, it just shows the name of the model of my laptop. Why doesn't it show all of the stuff in the tutorial?
Can you explain how layers work? Doesn't seem like there is a point if they can't be seen if they are below the first layer.
If you set a wave effect to every key on the top layer, and a ripple effect to wasd on the bottom layer, then the keyboard will be rainbow naturally. However, if you press wasd, then the ripple effect will override the rainbow effect, making it so you can see the ripple effect happen on wasd, but the rainbow effect still happens on the rest of the keys
why does some keyboards have 1 huge rgb light instead of having 1 rgb light per button just like that?

I have a problem with my Keyboard, it doesn't detect any of the keys in the studio and in the Opera GX Lights.
i cant do it idk if im doing something wrong or the razer cynapse lite isnt comatible i think it is but idk

What device are you using? Some older keyboards and newer ones too, don't have the "Per-Key" lighting options

When I try to pick one of my keys it just picks all of them does someone know how to fix that?

What if I don’t want to use any affects? I just want mine to be a single color
use the static effect, or select your device from the top of the software. Click lighting, then use quick effects.

I’m having issues even choosing an effect? I’ve tried all and none will apply. I’ve also noticed my studio looks way more blank? I’m not to sure what to do

I can't select curtain keys on mine i have a RAZER ORNATA V3 X
so i have an ornata v3 x keyboard and i guess it won't let me change the individual keys :( which sucks

I have a major issue with studio. When I go in nothing loads I can't choose an effect because I can't see them and I can't change profiles because they don't load either. Any and all help is appreciated thank you in advance. Also I forgot to mention that I have uninstalled and reinstalled it countless times by now. I have done their repair tool when I uninstall it and nothing seems to be working for me but the rest of synapse works just fine. I have done everything I could think of anything would be helpful.

With the effect chosen you should just be able to click on the key you want it to affect. Make sure you are on the arrow tool (Ctrl + S).
What keyboard do you have?

That’s pretty easy, you just select the keys you use and put the lighting effect on them only

Came here looking for a guide on how to ACTUALLY CREATE AN EFFECT.
Not how to use them. Completely misleading title.
I'd suggest something that reflects the video more accurately like "How to create custom chroma profiles" because you taught me absolutely NOTHING about creating a lighting effect.

sorry, the point of our tutorials is to be simple and to the point. 2 minutes is more than enough to explain Chroma Studio. The software is rather simple. I'm sure there are longer tutorials out there I just didn't feel there was a need to bloat the video with self explanatory information. My bad.
