I just got my left thumb injection today. It was 2 years ago I had the first…. My right injection was a fail. Still with burning pain at times… yes lots of ouches. Can exercise help? Doctor said it’s pretty severe degenerative arthritis
Many of the articles are found in the Journal of Hand Therapy and I don't have all the links but two of them are- Novel Isometric Exercises for the Dynamic Stability Programs for Thumb Carpal Metacarpal Joint Instability and Characterizing response to a dynamic stability modeled approach for thumb carpometacarpal joint pain: A retrospective study-www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0894113022000758
How can you reduce that bony bump at the back of the thumb? I had RCL surgery. It went well, i finished OT and am still working on regaining strength and flexibility in the thumb.
Exericses cannot change the arthritis that has caused the bony bump but they can help support that area (along with other solutions) to reduce more subluxation or changes that are occuring. I am happy to hear your surgery went well! It can really be life changing for many people.
Still charging $97 for a program with no live segments? With 142K subscribers, and UA-cam payments, you could discount the program with little pain to your ample purse. Mine is NOT so ample.
