They didn’t build the house that close to the road. They built the road that close to the house! When I was a kid that was a 2 lane gravel road in the country. Now it’s a 4 lane highway. I grew up near there. It’s crazy how much it’s growing out that way.

Abandoned houses like this one always make me sad. You can tell that, at one time, this was probably a beautiful house. You guys really picked a hard one this time. You always do an amazing job. You didn't disappoint on this one.
I do watch and comment when they aren't doing what people pay taxes for the city to do. But as long as people keep cleaning up city easements, the city will keep keep collecting your money and not use it to fix or maintain anything.

You also provided a safe pace for a driver to pull off to change a flat tire, check their directions, or make a phone call. Difficult to imagine building a house at that location. The tree gives a clue so probably before the busy roadway. The bricks used on the house are beautiful. Gnarly grass and a terrific cleanup. Thank you ❤

It is so shameful that the city will continue to spend millions on police but won't spend on human necessities like housing.
