I,ve been looking for this for decades....First watched it in Germany, maybe on TV maybe a Video rental...but it was 83-85..I was based in Herford West Germany.....yes it is cheap...but had something about it, that made it fun.
That pack of cigs wouldn't last too long with everyone bumming them off the Sarge. Great movie though. I am a Vietnam Veteran and I know what it is like out on the field without smokes.
They got the movie wrong, because it happens during World War 2, and an unit gets trapped by Nazi soldiers, then they run into aliens who help free the Americans. By the way, they mentioned the Morlocks, but the Morlocks are in the books and the movies about a scientist who builds a time machine and ends up in the future. These are two different movies. The other movie was called :The Time Machine with Rod Taylor.
"Earth is under attack by an alien race known as the Morlocks. The Morlocks have invaded Earth and are wreaking havoc on the planet, destroying cities and killing innocent people." WHAT FILM IS DESCRIBED HERE? It ain't this one!
The Time Machine is the origin of Morlocks. They are the cannabilistic underground survivors of an apocalyptic war, ie the Elite who had bunkers. They raided the surface for human flesh. Time Machine was written 50 years before the first atomic bomb.
Wonderful 80s B-movie. Starts out a little shaky, but once the four-colour cartoon style storytelling gets properly telegraphed, it really finds its groove. Cheesy, cheap, and charming - just how I love ’em. Special effects are good for the budget, which means they’re terrible. In a surprise twist, the hammy German dialogue is completely understandable. 4/5, solid B-sci fi.
I think it they realize cover meant actually standing behind something, as opposed to beside it in full view of the enemy but tucking your head in it a few time, they actually may get shot less.
It was bad enough that they didn't pick up any guns or ammo from their fallen comrades. When at 7:38, they didn't take the radio either, I began hoping this is a monster movie.
Kilroy was an inspector in the factory's during WW2, his job was to instill QAQC and would do the Kilroy graffiti to prove it was inspected and Okayed. FACT.
@@rogermorris7309 Thnx for the background. My comment still holds. When I was in elementary school in the mid 50s, I used to draw the image of Kilroy's head & fingers peeking above a fence, along with that slogan. Learned it from my Army-lifer Dad, who served in N. Africa, and waded ashore at Utah beach. He ret. in 1968.
They likely reused the smocks that were made for the SS soldiers in the movie A Bridge Too Far. These were made using the 1950s era "amoebatarn" of West Germany.
What do you think of Cowboys and Aliens, starring Daniel Craig (James Bond) and Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones) with a budget the size of a small fortune? Is it really all that better as a sci-fi/ war film? There weren’t many laughs in the cowboy alien film, but you could laugh at this nonsense. Saw it as a teenager of the time, it passed the hour with friends and beer.
A Tim Thomerson movie I haven't seen before??? Thank you for sharing this.

is this a real movie? I'm less than 2 minutes in and I feel like I'm having an acid flashback
I remember seeing this on a double bill with Troll movie in 1986 😊❤❤❤
That would've been a good 👍

Wouldnt the smell of cig smoke give you away? As a non smoker seems I can smellit a mile away…
@@buzz5969 for sure. Addiction defies logic.

Well thank you for spoiling the surprise
3 stooges go to war!
HG Wells who wrote Time machine, I like the original flim aswell
HG Wells is the time machine one . The Morlocks were there remnants of the underworld survivors and Eloi the remains of the surface dwellers.
😅 It's an 80's B Grade movie, Einstein. Just have some fun for once. Throw popcorn at the screen, go "No way! DBAD.
I really enjoyed this movie. Thanks
A very fun film in spite of Joey getting killed. I would watch a sequel if they made one!
Better than I expected.
Luv' this "Oldy Goldy"! I have 1000+ Titles, this is not one of them! Thanks!

Suprising that the German soldiers actually speak german fluently

Great EC-spaceship interior! Wally Wood would be proud!!!
Sound drops out at 25:45 until 27:45
loved that film as it was so corny. he also played jack death. equally as bad but good.
=YEAH!=
Yes, with Helen Hunt, also Magen Ward or something. Mittens was in that movie too😊
hired this out on video back in the day lol
They find the SS camp. "It's deserted!" I see two guys sitting at the table, in plain view.
I just watched this the day. Pretty good.
Tuco from The good, the bad and the ugly would be proud building that bastard of Thompson, MG34 and Bren...
JUST LOVE THE 80 Z !!!
The armourer on set obviously found some mushrooms during filming
Good movie, up against the movie, back to the future! in 1985.
I think it they realize cover meant actually standing behind something, as opposed to beside it in full view of the enemy but tucking your head in it a few time, they actually may get shot less.
I remember this one from the VHS rental store
Don't know how I missed this bad-boy? Jk, easy, lot's of these great killer B's from the 80's..."
GOOD B-MOVIE. I LIKE A GOOD B-MOVIE...

this was a great escape(reality) movie
How could the Germans lose the War? They started with 15 men, lost 11 to gunshots and still had 8 left! Lucky the Sarge managed to get the final 8.
Because they were up against Jack Deth, that’s how.
And they always lose the same way. They give the yanks a chance, then get betrayed.
Even watch all the old war TV shows. Happens every time.
This movie is god😊😊😊
Hold two compasses together and they point anywhere but north.
Seen this as a kid, it was originally called the Iron Sarge
Awesome film👍🏻👍🏻🥳
Great movie 😊
Thank you 😊😎👍😂
Morlocks were in "The Time Machine" weren't they?
Yep.
Yes.
11:07 interesting

Just like here on Earth. Women are the same whereever you go.
Easy?
I heard of this one. Hey it's the guy from The Master 😆
All the actors had to pay for parts in this movie. Every time someone rents or plays this movie...the actors have to pay royalties..."
I believed you for 3 secs, seriously. 😆🤣👍🏼
Película bélica chuzca,,😂😂😂😂,,, solo en los 80s, se miraban todo tipo de Rarezas,,,,🇲🇽🧟☠️🥊🦇🤣🦂🤖🚀🛩️
One thing I didn't get, is how come the Sarge is pretty much immortal? He's supposed to be a robot or something?
That turned into a comedy real quick
Tim tomersom is a great b movie actor I remember him the movie carwash he had to short scenes he was jack death to
@1:18:41 - For you young folk watching, "Kilroy Was Here" was a common graffiti left by our troops during WWII.
Kilroy was an inspector in the factory's during WW2, his job was to instill QAQC and would do the Kilroy graffiti to prove it was inspected and Okayed. FACT.

Musical soundtrack seems copied from "Star Wars". 😎
sTAR bATTLEs is legally distinct from this "Star Wars" of yours of course lol
Who thought anything that happened here could be called good war tactics.
Another one of those videos where the audio periodically drops off. Why are these allowed on YT? They ruin the movies.
There is a reason why the audio does that. If you haven't figured it out by now (since you said "another one of those videos") you don't need to know.
the SS camo pattern seems to be unique made for this movie

Where was the part where Dr Phil "admits defeat"?
McCheesy...I love cheesy!!!
What happened to the sound?
Stegg man from class 1984 , hi skool , punk ,overcrowded local hi
FIX THE AUDIO
FIX YOUR AUDIO ISSUES!

😊
TRANCERS is a much better movie
56:45 min, E.T phone home.
WAS there a director😂?! Or did he just ‘hire’ a minivan full of students…And then find a pub?!
Comedy
hey all you foreign people posting movies, notice this person put the MOVIE TITLE, get the hint and DO IT
Period perfect almost I guess with the kit used not taking Mittens gun into it and of course the good die young it being WW2 and Joey..Nice one
“Period perfect”? Have you seen Mittens’ gun?
What a waste of 90 minutes. Sloppy sci fi/war movie.
This movie is so stupid that appears to be magnificant example of B class film...
This was so bad , the bad became badder, then gave up . Must have cost all of a tenner to make ...
shouldn't make fun of a free movie but this is unwatchable.
Oooweeee that's some terrible acting 😂 not that'll stop me watching
