Aquascape Build Step by Step - Nature Aquarium Tutorial in an Eheim Clearscape 200 (90x50x45cm)

- Aquarium Gardens owner Dave Pierce aquascapes this Eheim Clearscape 200 aquarium (90x50x45cm) in the AG showroom. These open top braceless aquariums are new to the Eheim range, and available to purchase at Aquarium Gardens. This video will guide you through the process of substrate, layout composition and planting. Hopefully it will give you a few ideas for your own Aquascapes :)
It's important to say that using the right equipment is key to obtaining the resulting plant growth and overall look. Main points to note: we're using CO2 injection and high powered good quality lighting. Please get in contact or visit our showroom for recommendations on equipment - it's so important to get it right!
Afternote: Lighting was upgraded to a Twinstar 900s for better plant growth and improved colour rendition (see end of video).

It looks like I will have to give up my marine tank of 10 years up because all marine shops are closing down because it is no longer a cost effective hobby. This is first tropical tank setup I have seen that makes me want to switch over now .
How much £ would it cost to set a tank like this up.not the tank set up itself. Just the Contents l.e sand,soils,wood,plants & fish etc ?? Thanks

I really appreciate the lists you include. I’m hoping to set up my first planted tank in the Spring. So many ideas from this beautiful build. Mine will be small but the way you arranged wood and rocks gave me some ideas for a small scape.
I notice you use the mineral after the power sand here. Iv seen you use it the other way round before. Mineral then power sand

The packet that was sprinkled under the soil were root nutrition tabs that come with ADA version 2 soil
