where can I find a suit like this bro?
Is this a pc only patch still 1.1.2 on Xbox
@@chrissgro5334probably gotta wait for abit
Struggeled on Puppet King for nearly 6 Hours (especially p2) now after the Patch i killed him first try. The increased Health for the Ghost was a Big Help especially with the Cube that reduces its damage take even further. Finally i can continoue with the Game ^^.
But still i would love to increase the Parry window a little bit further. Since ive struggeled so hard the last Days i played a little bit of Sekiro and i think there the Parry window is so much forgiving.
As a additional suggestion i would wish more clear indicator on certain Attacks. Sometimes its so confusing to read if a Enemy do a 1x Jump+ Attack or a 3x Jump+ Attack cause both have the same animation.
More difficult never means more fun.
Good changes. I've already beaten the game twice but these nerfs/buffs needed to happen in my opinion. Difficulty for the sake of difficulty does not always equal fun.
Archbishop and king of puppets phase 1 were not hard at all. I think the nerf is kinda weird to be honest. Romeo was kinda hard but kinda boring since you just dodge left and strike.
@@OkiDingo Considering how many people were complaining that they both had too much hp, its not surprising that they changed it.
They were not hard but tedious if you still learn phase2. So absolutly justified.@@OkiDingo
Andreus and Manus deserved the nerfs (one for being too spongy early in the game and one for how many bullshit he had), but mah boi Romeo didn't. He was one of the more balanced bosses imo.
@@vandergamer8682 to be honest they should change archbishop to force you to attack the body side instead of the same side as phase one. That’s why it’s fairly easy. I was a dex / advance build using salamander dagger w/ acid handle. Fire wrecks him fast.
I'm so glad they changed carry weight I really felt like I was forced to dump tonnes of levels in capacity just to use a simple build
100% agree
Especially, if you use both amuletes for decreasing the weightlimit, just to see, you went from 75 just down to 64 and you are still "Sligthley Heavy", which has a huge effect with bigger weapons.
Yeah can't wait to respec and dump all those wasted levels. Although I'm pretty sure I'm near the very end of the game.
I agree I’ve upgraded capacity every other level and am still slightly heavy
facts!
Decreasing the HP of first phases makes sense. Most of them just become tedious gateways to retrying the phase 2 over and over again
Exactly. King of Puppets is the worst example with the boss fight FULLY changing after phase 1
@@enol1466those should have been 2 different bossfight they kinda ruined the second ome which is an amazing bossfight standalone
Love that change. When I was first fighting king of puppets it was a matter of getting into 2nd phase with a comfortable amount of cells left. Sometimes he would spam the attacks that push you back just to get a extra lick in when he had no hp
Archbishop was already pretty easy tho especially with the holy ark.
@@talhaahmed2130 the second phase makes no sense terrible camera
4:12 That's actually HUGE, the 3 bars fable arts were very annoying to land, because harder enemies doesn't have enough window to complete the fable attacks and this fixes that, I am very happy with that change.
best change imo, next to the respec cost being vastly reduced (and weight change).
Happy I beat it b4 anything got easier
I mean it makes sense especially elites. NG+ elites takes I dunno 20k dmg before going down in some areas
HP decreases for the some bosses with multiple health bars makes total sense to me. It's the kind of nerf I prefer to see, since your attacks can end up feeling anemic against such huge health pools. More health means longer fight, means more frustration when a fight ends up killing you dead. A lot of these changes feel like they're trying to make the game less frustrating rather than making it strictly easier (which a buff to the Perfect Guard timing would do).
Yeah I agree, fighting two nameless kings consecutively sucks lol
Simon's 2nd phases health pool was absolutely insane. Attempts were taking me nearly 15 minutes a piece.
@@itsaUSBlineYeah the nerf to Simon I think was the most justified. That fucker took me like 10 long minutes to beat the first time using a decent weapon too. So sometimes you would get all the way to phase 2 and nearly kill him then die and waste 10 minutes. It ended up taking me close to two hours to beat him for that reason. He was incredibly tanky and making him easier to stagger is a good change too. It wouldn’t be as bad if the boss itself wasn’t so annoying. Making the fight take longer doesn’t necessarily make it better either, but it does force you to make less mistakes so idk.
Skill issue
@@chandlerh2408 To be fair, nameless king's first phase is super easy and doesn't take very long at all.
Seem pretty solid. Hoping bosses won't feel to squish as I finish NG +2 and +3 (3rd and 4th playthroughs), but the weight stuff is awesome and the fable art hyper armor. Can't count how many times a basic attack has interrupted my 3 cost Arts.
I really like they added the fable arts change. I was using the Etiquette weapon whose fable art attack was charging up the weapon into one powerful thrust. So any interruption meant 0 damage to anything, unlike some other weapons where you still manage to get a few hits
Im so glad that I 100% the game an hour ago with 3 playthroughs.
Definitely hard but it was amazing and rewarding for trying different builds
simon manus beat my ass for 2 days i beat him a few hours before the nerfs LMFAO
Yeah I'm doing this same thing (at the Exhibition level on my second playthrough) so I'm glad I at least got through my first run after really having to grind to get through Laxasia and Simon at the developer's intended difficulty (which I think is objectively too hard lol). I'm honestly shocked they didn't do anything specific to Laxasia- I found her to be Malenia levels of tough in that second phase.
I had just gotten to Simon before the nerfs. Part of me wishes I beat him before the nerf, but I beat pre nerf Radahn in elden ring so I’ll accept it
Update: I just beat Simon on my first attempt… this feels wrong lol
I 100% it in 2 play through , getting 2 endings on my first play through… it’s great
Did you have to backup save to do that? Aren't there three separate endings?@@brownbeastoftheleaf3215
Hope they add the option for friends to join the fight, that was my favorite thing to get people into bloodborne and help out when needed, as much as I dig these updates I wish I would of beaten the game before hand. I was so close to but I HAD to take a break and when I woke up the update was there.. at least I got my footage of how the bosses were before the update lol but on the good note is now people can actually have a good/ challenging time playing the game without feeling completely cheated by the extreme difficulty spikes
was close to finishing NG++ but I think these are good changes as long as they didn't over do it.
Good changes overall, finally some hyper amor at least on lvl 3 fables. Tryhards gonna butthurt, but some were really needed, felt like I was playing with butter knifge instead of heavy 2h weapon trying to stagger some foes. Hope they gonna fix perfect parry also, kinda joke how I parry like 3 - 4 attacks in row and buss isn't staggered or continues combo like nothing happened (Elder Rabbit bro for example, Andreus). Perfect parries are meant to give some opening ffs, call me casual if you wish
I don't think perfect blocks needs to give you an opening. It's an alternative way to dodge an attack and keep the posture bar of the enemies going. It's ment to be similar to sekiro where you need to parry every attack of an enemy if you wish to stagger it at all.
I figured this was gonna happen. That was the first thing I thought that there’s a fairly decent imbalance of yourself versus the mobs and bosses. I’ve gotten pretty far, I’m now up against the swamp boss and my goodness what a freakin fight lol
I have an advanced build. Used the fire dagger blade + acid spear handle for range. Specter with fire buff. Flamberge arm completely upgraded. It died fast.
@@jareddrake8656 interesting! So advanced is good for the fire blade, which would makes sense due to fire. I have the normal dagger with technique build since I love being quick. I may need to redo my stats for the fire dagger
Honestly great changes. I could deal with bosses actually pretty fine for the most part, but capacity being as mandatory as it was just sucked. I *always* felt too heavy especially as a motivity enjoyer. Glad to see they actually adjusted that so you can put points elsewhere. Also as a motivity enjoyer, Hyper armor at long last.
Mostly fair changes.
I think Manus could have been given just the damage down and easier to stagger and it would have been completely fine and the less health on the first phase is a little excessive but it depends on how big the numbers are.
And maybe the fable arts could have had there hyperarmour kick in a second or so after the start up so its still possible to knock someone out of it just unlikely as long as there not just throwing it out wildly. but full hyper armour isn't gonna break the game since you now take the full damage from the attacks that hit them during a fable art since previously the first hit would knock you over and the enemy combo would just miss, now you can get hit by all of it which makes the "damage reduction when using fable" P-organ upgrade MUCH more enticing.
Still I'm glad I platinumed (well I'm on pc so technically there's no actual platinum trophy but you know what I mean) the game before the nerfs if for no reason other then its the first time I've done so in any souls or souls like. I'm always late to the party on these games.
Just let me have this!
Im not gonna lie manus was quite easy his second phase once u get it down but it req alot of patience since my guy was built like a fking tank. I wish his stagger window is longer cuz when i fought him even with the lonng stagger window p organ bro stood up almost instantly
Ðey increased stagger window btw.@@kotominekirei1706
@@kotominekirei1706 oh I personally didn't have much trouble with him I'm mostly saying this for the people who are struggling, I think this is a relatively fair nerf that won't trivialise the boss but makes it more manageable for them.
I personally just burned through his health super fast with the Katana and learned barely any of his attacks...Until new game + where that wasn't really gonna work with how much bigger his health bar was and I had to actually get gud.
Simon Manus on NG+ took me around 5 hours. Dude is crazy on that NG.
This is great! I noticed some of the encounters are really difficult even with regular mobs coz they are too strong.
This is a great patch, and it definitely makes the game easier. But I don’t think that making it easier was the intention, instead it feels as though they just made some needed quality of life improvements and fixed some things that were very overtuned.
why doesn't my game update??
@@user-vn5kf2gd6o took me 6hrs. now this king boss is a giant pain as well
@@user-vn5kf2gd6oalot of people felt he was extremely hard. Idk if I was over leveled on accident or I just understood the boss well but I beat him first try. He hits hard but you can roll most all of his attacks. If you try to parry him all the time he will punish you hard on miss.
@@user-vn5kf2gd6o I fought him yesterday, and I did notice he died faster, but I had chalked it up to my maxed out heavy blade on rapier handle. First time I fought him last week (I restarted a new game after hitting a wall with Manus and not getting the ending I want), I died like 4 times before I killed him. This time I got him on first try. I dodge and guard, and only parry by luck in this game.
@@sethsimpson8086 way too much health for an early boss and way too much damage
I'm on NG+2 and close to platting the game in this run....good news for newer players since I'm basically still steam rolling everything at this point lvl 252
Wow this patch was fast, I only get about 2-3 hours of play time but not everyday but I was hoping to beat the game at the op state it was in but still a nice change for my final few bosses.
Also the amulets and Hyper armour was really needed! The amulets are the main reason I’ve been Yellow weight since like area 4 and had to keep levelling up my weight to keep it balanced in some way! Hyper armour thank god I’ve lost so many power heavy attacks because I get staggered as I’m trying to preform it especially on bigger weapons!
Same here, I don't know how these people got to beat the game multiple times already. I was hoping to beat it b4 patches. Because I work 12 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week and have a family. My game time is very limited. These people must not have a job or at least a full time job. It's ridiculous how much free time a lot of these people have
I'm sorry man. We are NEETs.@@fusion1382
Well, there was a reason my main stat was capacity in the end (even though it wasn't really a good choice in hindsight) especially because of the amulets weights. So I am kind of glad they decreased that.
Seriously though....I have 20 in capacity plus I'm wearing the increase weight limit amulet and I'm STILL slightly heavy. I'm glad they realized how much BS that is.
@@chainuser1774i had 80 capacity in new game plus to wear everythin that I needed. Now I changed it to 60 and its enough to wear all the needable boss amulets and be under 60 percent
@@chainuser1774Yeah 20 capacity is like the minimum for NG and 30+ for NG+ in my opinion. Weight definitely needed adjusting so that’s a good change.
I have 80 in capacity. I wonder if I light roll now lol
Glad they did all of these changes as I'm at the final boss lol. The capacity change is huge, I've spent so much ergo just trying to boost that for so many of these late-game levels and it not making much of a difference. Kinda jealous of the people who will play with this version, these changes sound great and make sense.
The statement "People were struggling against these bosses" is the understatement of the year.
Absolutely love these changes. Motivity is significantly stronger now, it’s much easier to not be heavy due to the capacity changes, and the hyperarmor is phenomenal.
motivity weapons are still garbage tho.. i fail to see how this patch makes motivity any better than it was before, any changes made to hyperarmor and carry weight affect all the classes not just motivity, having hyperarmor on dex weapons makes them stronger same as strength weapons, you could argue that motivity is still better than it was, but it doesnt address the abysmal balancing and how much better dex is than strength in this game. strength is still the most useless stat by a longshot.
As someone who completed this game with a motivity build the first few days of the game release I have to disagree to strength being "useless" no weapon scaling stat is useless in these games are some better than others sure, but to say motivity is useless shows you've never fully upgraded a motivity weapon and have beaten the game with one.@@scragglie
@@scragglie motivity is garbage? So far except 2 bosses ive shredded bosses hps with 0 issues with my motivity build and i havent even hit the soft cap yet for motivity
@@scragglie Yes, these changes affect all the classes. HOWEVER, Dex/Advance builds have lower weight. Compare the weight of two dragons sword, puppet ripper, etc, to the weight of noblesse oblige and frozen feast. The capacity changes don't affect them nearly as much as it does motivity, because they already had no issues staying under 60% weight due to their weapons being so light, even if they use boss amulets. Motivity builds had to either choose between having a weapon with the best dps (because the highest dps motivity weapons are all heavy) using boss amulets, or having under 60% weight. Now you can get all 3 of those, hence why its such a big buff for motivity and not as much the other classes. Same with the hyperarmor. Dex and Advanced are fast enough that they don't need the hyperarmor, motivity does, so these changes again massively buff motivity in comparison.
@@scragglieI’ve only done a motivity build so far, and the areas are a cakewalk. I thought the basic enemies and stuff were too easy.
I struggled against 3 of the end bosses but wasn’t stuck on anyone more than a couple hours.
Gonna have to do a new build and compare.
The parry window isn't the issue. It's how enemies delay attacks but that can't be easily changed so we get health reductions.
Yes, too many enemies do wind animations that are difficult to anticipate because the actual attack comes out immediately with little to no tell. Some of the bosses in Souls games would do it, but most LoP bosses and mini-bosses all do it for most of their attack strings.
Si why i can every boss no hit? Guys stop complaining and Git gud
Yeah personally I like the parry window being tighter because it’s more rewarding, but all of the delayed attacks and delayed fury attacks make the first playthrough very frustrating until you learn the timings. It’s very unforgiving for new players. But yeah they’re not going to just redesign all of the enemies and bosses so hp changes is fine I guess. Particularly for the elite enemies, I think some of them were just way too tanky and overtuned.
No one loves you@@saintslebon
@@saintslebongood for you gamer God nobody fucking cares the attack part of the animations aren’t well telegraphed you are the minority every one else is complaining about it especially with the Parry window being too strict since enemies attack animations weren’t handled well in being unable properly convey when the attack comes it’s practically instant
I am happy to see they add changes. The "elite monsters" I feel was warranted. I am confused why they changed the HP of Normal Manus and not the awakened manus because that phase is so long it would make more sense if they tuned down that HP + Phase 1 imo was not that difficult. He is very slow and has super telegraphed attacks so. The King of Puppets change was such a good one. P1 was not that fun as a first time play through and all you wanted was to practice P2. Hyperarmor to the fable arts was one change I really hoped they would add and it seems to have happened. The big change I think everyone would like to see is as you mentioned the increased frames for parries. They sometimes just feel too inconsistent and I believe they are around 8-9 frames and increasing it to 12 would be a good change. Think Sekiro has 12. But I do understand that making a change like this probably takes a crap ton of work, it's not that easy changing something so massive so I think the most likely scenario is it will never get fixed or if it does it will be in the DLC. Overall very happy with the current changes! :)
Sekiro's initial parry timings is much longer than that: the parry frame is very generous (30 frames); however, that frame window will get reduced if you press parry repeatedly without actually parrying. Holding the parry button for just half a second longer will make a huge different ~Reddit post
What is your understanding of parrying? How do you parry in Lies of P?
@@danielantony1882-- Parrying in LoP is really a perfected block or guard. For me, I use a Xbox controller on PC, and guard/perfect guard attempts are executed by pressing the Left Bumper button at the right time. you will see a flash on screen and an audible cue when it happens.
Yes, I know you understand. But does ðis person understand? @@jonathanharris8851
@@danielantony1882the parry window in sekiro is based on the enemy's attack, so you can tap deflect anytime during that window. In LoP, the parry window is based on when the player pressed the guard button, so the enemy's attack has to hit during that window. If you tap the button, you have a shorter window to perfect guard.
I’m much more happy with this because it’s making the game way more enjoyable for me on new game plus
Yeah my NG+ playthrough has already been much easier since I know how the game works, and this is gonna make it a breeze to get the plat when overleveled
@AloneAgainstAll885Go break a sword off in your ass and fight the boss with what’s left.
@AloneAgainstAll885 you're delusional, get help
I wasn't really bothered about the difficulties. But that weight capacity was ridiculous. Pickup a amulet and suddenly you're heavy
I felt like I had to use the amulet that lets me carry more, and even then I was still slightly heavy (very close to heavy) with my capacity leveled a bit just by putting on another amulet, and I was using a pretty light weapon.
I put a shit ton of points into capacity so I guess more for me lol
@@casual2694the boss amulets are usually the heaviest things btw
@@absolutelyunepic3072 I didn't wear any of the boss amulets, except the one that makes your heals sometimes not get consumed, ditched it pretty quickly after discovering you can go through your entire heal supply multiple times without it triggering though.
The carry weight is such a nice thing man
I was putting so much more into capacity then I felt like I should be just to carry one weapon + emblems
My thoughts exactly. We're supposed to be able to function with two weapons but the previous system made it impossible to have a 2nd weapon and legion arm equipped. I wasn't even using any of the heavy boss amulets, also no liners, yet staying below 60% required regular levels in capacity.
I also noticed that some elites, like the Lorenzini Arcade ones people were farming drop a bit more ergo now. With both organ upgrades, and the ring for more ergo they drop over 1k now on ng. I was so confused when I booted it up last night 🤣
They definitely made the game way easier. Reminds me, when DS2 first came out. the shrine of amana along with other stuff got super nerfed.
I definitely was enjoying the challenge, kinda sad i didn't get to experience manus pre patch.
Well , only the hp got decreased , so you'll still get a pretty mouthful experience anyway lol.
@@PierLuc111second phase damage too T-T
Honestly, decreased star fragment drop rate makes sense. You can buy them from Giangio anyway and they cost as much as a personal cube buff. Felt a bit wierd a relatively common drop would be worth as much as something like that.
Seriously!! I have over 300 of them hahaha it dropped so much
Also, I just beat King of Puppets last night and it was already surprisingly easy with the acid grinder I got by exploring the level where you fight him. I wonder how much faster he can go down now.
The P Organ upgrade take less damage while doing perfect art attacks now way worth it with the non-interrupts. I'm on my first playthrough and like how the game is challenging. These balances seem really good for the "casual gamers" seeing that people have already beaten the game multiple times without these balances.
Anyone else encounter the bug where you can’t get the perfect block grindstone but all the others are available? I gave the right box and everything and really don’t wanna start a new run as I’m stuck on laxasia rn
I don't know I would have preferred them just increase the periwindow instead of nurfing the boss's health don't care about the elite enemies, but the bosses are supposed to be a challenge. My only ever complaint was the Perry time was way too tight.
Buffing the parry time immediately imbalances their combat of dodge/parry combo. Focus on more of a blend and you will see that it's actually fine, not all attacks are ideal for a parry. If you position yourself better in the fight it will be less of an issue.
Fighting Simon on 2nd playthrough has been quite the challenge so far for me. Excited to see how i fare after this update. Too be fair, Spectres were kinda useless in 2nd phase and made it seem like they were less of a crutch and i liked that i was still forced to carry majority of the fight. using spectres feel a little less cheesy. With their HP and Damage buff, I wonder if theyll do way more, last way longer into 2nd phase and be considered more of a crutch to use making hardcore solo players look down evem more on those who use spectres.
Yeah, you're not alone, phase 2 of Simon and Laxasia had me hard-stuck for multiple play sessions
@@loganressler9173rlly? Laxasia was the easiest boss from the game for me, archbishop, green monster, simon manus kicked my ass so hard, but laxasia and nameless puppet i defeated before 15 minutes with like 4 or 3 deaths
Oh man, I think you're in the vast minority there, I'm guessing she's gonna be in the top three whenever we start seeing "Lies of P bosses ranked by difficutly" for most players. I had an okay time with some others that people found tricky earlier (fuoco, king of puppets/ romeo, and especially archbishop weren't too taxing) but then felt a big uptick in challege for the swamp monster, Laxasia, and Simon. A big thing for those is they just output so much damage that I felt if I was ever at less than 60% health I would just get one-shot so quickly, Maleketh flashbacks...@@marlonfernandes321
I think it's interesting how different everyone's experience is, like Victor was the only boss in the whole game I beat on the first try, but I got absolutely TROUNCED by the mad puppet at least 10 times in a row... some of those mini boss enemies (like the one in the wine cellar too) can just totally throw you off
@@loganressler9173agreed. Loved the fight with Victor though, felt fair yet difficult enough.
Honestly I though that they could decrease the HP of some of the bosses and it would make the game better. Will have to try how it feels while playing but can't complain. I would also move the get up after being knocked down porgan upgrade into phase 1 because there is a pretty big lack of upgrade materials in the first half of the game.
This is a huge update. Being able to consistently get off big fable attacks is going to lead to some fun strategies
Yes they finally add poise and fix the weight. Not to mention Manus and Andreus got deserving nerfs. Though I don't think Romeo was that tanky. At that point in the game you should have enough damage to deal with him, especially if you use electric blitz.
They add poise?
@@thiagukkjhe mean the stagger happens more often now or the super armor fable arts
@@Voldrim359 so no poise, strenght build kinda suck if you get interrupted all the time
@@thiagukkj that's the point, and fable arts on str builds do so much damage.
On other note, dex builds had been getting away with a lot of the punishment since well, they are movement after all, but str gets a lot of punish for even trying to do a heavy attack, so super armor on fable arts is well deserved, you get damaged, yes, but you at least didn't waste your fable bar
@@Voldrim359 yeah but need to add poise on normal atacks, that's what i mean,it takes to long to land an atack with the str weapons and everything can stop you,in dark souls you get enough poise to tank up to various atacks before you get stagerred

I think those are fine they just take time to get used to.
Yeah, I would love to see that as well
Is there a place I can go to submit a patch request? I keep trying to save my Boss Ergo in the Stargazers, but they keep ending up back in my inventory after each visit to one
This is amazing. Maybe I’ll start over. I’m on mission 5 or act 5 whatever it’s called and was really struggling so this is good news.
I was stuck on King of Puppets for ages. Took me 5 attempts to finally kill him yesterday. Now they nerf him. Could have done with that before. Ah well. At least the rest of the game will be a little bit easier now.
Ages and 5 attempts? Took 26 tries for me to beat Laxasia and even this wasn't that long o.O
@@beztv31 Im not up to that boss yet, I hope to hell it doesn't take me that long. The King has been the hardest boss for me so far I think.
Have fun on the secret final boss if you choose the right option i beat him yesterday and im kinda pissed at the changes now cause i could have used them before turning the fight into an anime battle and 100+ attempts
5 attempts is definitely not ages, I would call that a pretty easy fight xD It took me 4,5h to beat him (I mean the King of Puppets)
Oh I know the feeling. Took me 7 tries until I had to pull out my wrench with the coil handle. First phase was easy until I found out a fable art could two shot the second phase….and it staggered him as well. And it was not the wrench fable art I’ll give you that
Good changes. Some of the enemies felt they didn't properly scale with damage potential, and a lot of the boss amulets were so heavy that they couldn't be used without massive investment. I think the tweaks were less about making the game easier, and more about making the game more playable without a perfect build. The Gold Coin Tree being able to do respecs is also huge, since you can now do it when you're about 1/3 through the game, instead of 3/4 through, making experimentation more viable.
Capacity change is a welcome change. Amulets weighing 20 pounds was a bit much
yeah whoever's idea that was to make them that heavy, get 'em out of the building cus wtf
I am trying to update the game to a new patch on my Xbox but there is no prompt to do so, anybody have the same problem?
Never mind I checked the twitter
It said the Xbox version coming soon
I enjoyed Elden Ring and im currently playing Fires of Rubicon, but I'm no souls veteran what so ever, so to see that they kind of re-thought stuff to cater to the more casual fun loving individuals makes me want to buy this even more. The sake of difficulty does not equate to fun, and im glad they followed through with that decision
it shows they don't want to gatekeep and make a game hard for sake of being hard, which tends to turn the masses away, souls being a prime example offering many crutches a player can use while still being challenging and fun. while they have gotten generally easier, the quality of the games have also gotten better thanks to the higher sales numbers.
The spectre buff is gonna be great. Will make him a much better distraction now
I'm glad they didn't patch the aegis shield trick, I've been relying on that way too much. It carried me through some tough bosses and mini bosses

The patch notes say they’ve summited the patch to Microsoft are waiting for Microsoft to test it. I guess this is why we always get updates last
@@nobody-xh6ii Yup. Nothing.
That sucks , idk why they do that .. only bc people crying .
Thank god I finished the game couple of days ago and enjoyed the challenge
Are there any info about the ageis arm bug that gives you perfect guard while blocking with both ageis arm and your weapon?
I woupd honestly love a stagger meter like Sekiro, to know how close you are to staggering at least.
Some amulets are heavier than some weapons, that's crazy. The amulet of the last boss is 21.5 (WTF devs).
The suits should have attributes too.
Yeah imagine wearing a necklace that weighs more than a sword lmao
Exactly. That is ridiculous.
I'm a BIG fan of armor set bonuses or stats. Altho, it does ruin some "fashion souls" unless you you have a transmog system, since otherwise you'll be coerced into using x helm or x chest just because its better than others, but may look uglier. At most a gem system of sorts to slot into armor would be a decent solution
@@MaidenlessScrub Dripp too expensive shit be weighing us down
I had complained about that since day 1 once I looked at the amulets. Which dumbass went oh a brooch, that should weigh 15 Kilos. That's just a guarantee to ensure people never use them. Sure they're strong abilities but yeah no I'll take the 2.7 kilo faster stamina regen, and health regen per second over that any day.
That's great news, but no increase of the parry window? That's disappointing. That's the main thing most players were complaining about. Hope they address that in a subsequent patch.
The reduction in amulets weight was good as they were too heavy IMO. From most playthroughs I saw the character's status was "Slightly heavy". Still seems to be "Slightly heavy" though in this vid.
Git gud
No.@@saintslebon
What was the reason for moving the respec? Just a tiny bit of convenience I guess? Does this only unlock AFTER you've reached the statue or take place of the statue?
I'm in chapter 8 and extremely happy for these nerfs. Especially regarding the Fable Arts and getting interrupted mid-combo. Thank you, sir.
Nice patch. I always hate when devs nerf everything into the ground. These guys not only didn't do that, they made the game easier instead. That's a positive thing for the game I think. Mostly for the NG+ cycles. Some of the damage you take on those later runs is just obscene. No one likes getting one shot. Hopefully this helps with that since they can't kill you if they're already dead. :P Plus it allows new players to the Souls genre to experience the game. I know that will make a few of my friends very happy since they love the look of the game but are put off trying it since they're not very good at these types of titles.
yup, despite some people wanting the game to be as challenging as possible, making it more accessible just means more people can experience it, grows the community, makes replays less of a chore, and also = more money to neowiz to make more and even better games like this. people often forget devs need money to make games, if difficulty is effecting their bottom dollar too much, the smarter move for the company and team is to adjust to get more people on board. this isn't just listening to "whiners/scrubs", its "we want more people to enjoy the game, AND...make more money".
@@PWARGaming Well said. That's very true. And for all of us veterans that want a challenge, we can provide that for ourselves do level one runs, challenge limitations of not healing, base weapons, etc. Everybody wins. :)
@PWARGaming not to the point where the game losses its identity to appeal to people who don't even enjoy these type of games. The souls and souls-like have their audience and the money is no issue what's the issue is that people who refuse to challenge themselves and blame the game for their mistakes because of their fragile ego.
These are all great patches but I agree that they should've increased the perfect guard window rather than decrease boss hp
lol i just finished my first playthrough last night and wasn’t gonna do another playthrough but now I kinda wanna. These are all good changes. The carry weight in this game pre-patch was the one thing keeping it from being a 10/10 in my eyes
Great right after I spec 1000 points into Capacity so I’m not Slightly heavy with amulets on lol. Still absolutely love this game. Don’t think I’m gonna update until I finish since I’m very close anyway. I wanna beat it in its original form like I did Elden ring before the nerfs.
Glad that the changes overall should help make the game more accessible to a larger group of players without sacrificing too much of the difficulty integrity. Mostly good stuff here. I'm disappointed we don't have anything about deflection timing, but it's possible that change is more complicated than we realize and/or they may still be gathering information on the best way to manage the issues people have with it.
I think they chose the right bosses and also the butterflies being reduced is a great idea cz the two phases can be too much to deal with until you get a chance for better builds later on in end game and ng+ and the butterflies disappear to quickly around enemies to deal with them in time. I love the specter change too because it’s way better and also reducing star frags and increasing other item drops will make it much nicer farming for things one needs. Lastly the weight on amulets especially bosses was way too much and slowed me down too much and I hated that. I’m happy with changes however I hate they changed certain bosses because I couldn’t pass the archbishop cz his high health and how quick the specter dies with me having no ability to get those easier builds was terrible but I wanted to try the others but I just don’t have a lot of time to game to get better and this is my first soulslike game ever which makes me want to try all the souls series now because I love it though I hate how slow it’s in this game.
so maybe im nuts but the games sees some monsters as mini bosses and they dont come bac after killing them< is that normal? had to ask like in act 2 there is a police puppet one with an axe on a rooftop and a buff one on the roof close to the stargazer, i beat them but they didnt respawn. I am not complaining but i guess im asking is that normal?
did the fix the aegis bug where u can tap LB and perfect guard?
I still think the P-Organ needs to be revamped and some perks need to be intrinsic to the character namely:
Link dodge
Double dodge
Dodge after being grounded
Rise dodge, yes. The others, probably not.
@@imFluey I can live without link dodge but rise and double it feels like a necessity
I really didn't think any of the boss nerfs were needed. I think just a buff to the summon hp would've been enough for people struggling. Or I expected an extra frame to perfect parry red attacks.
I fought archbishop with an unupgraded spring sword on a str build and it was still fine. The puppet king nerf makes me sad, he was my favorite boss. I did him in ng+ and his heath just felt like paper. As for Simon, I don't like the boss but I still wouldn't have wanted a nerf for it. I really hope they just revert the nerfs.
Alot of thesw changes were well needed. Kinda wish they left the boss hp alone tho, maybe fixed the bosses spam attacking you but they are just challenging enough.
Probably easier to code a decrease in HP
@@ryandavid1277you’re right, it’s infinitely easier. The HP nerf takes a few keystrokes, messing with an npc’s actions is complex and could create even more problems.
A good patch all around, I moved over to try out cyberpunk after getting stuck on king of puppets on ng+ so I’ll definitely hop back in soon. Imo the last thing they could do is just increase the parry window by a smidge and I’d be happy
Not gonna lie this kinda pissed me off a bit 😅 I think the changes are good but I'm basically at Simon, like I'm so close and just wish I was able to beat the game before the changes. Feels like I'm not beating the real game now
Nah you're beating an actually somewhat balanced game now lol
Same… I knew this was coming but didn’t know this quick. I tried all day to beat him and took a break.. just woke up to try him again and there was the update
@@MaidenlessScrub yeah but I didn't even need this patch. Sure every boss has killed me multiple times but I enjoyed the challenge. It's what made it fun for me. This is my first souls like game and loving it so far
@@DokkanShaftsME oh believe me, Simon is not in any capacity fun lol. His 1st phase is, but his second phase is just 90% bullshit
@@MaidenlessScrub update: I didn't update it on my Xbox yet and I just beat Simon, I feel fulfilled knowing I beat it before patch. He wasn't that bad really
They shouldn't nerf the bosses' HP, I think a patch to improve to Sekiro' parry system would be enough.
The thing is, it's not Sekiro. Sekiro has two parries. The perfect parry in Sekiro is probably similar in frames to the perfect guard of Lies of P. However, Sekiro also has a regular parry you can literally spam. You cannot do that in Lies of P. But also, Sekiro is 100% built for parrying and very little dodging. Lies of P is not. You're very much meant to use all dodge/attack migation mechanics, not only one or two.
It's not Sekiro, try to not approach it as such.
@@Sarnatuileshutup
I will say the NG+ scaling is kinda crazy for hm some enemies can sponge when lvls start giving you 1 dmg per lvl or 1 every 2-3 lvls
It’s nice to know there listening to feedback
It’s a shame they didn’t widen the perfect block timer by a frame or 2 but these changes are quite good so I’ll take it
U can use the aegis arm for a way more forgiving perfect block. Honestly it's easy mode if u use it. Just hold left trigger and spam left bumper and you'll perfect block everything. Even red attacks. I've been first trying all bosses on ng+ with this method. Prolly not intended but use it b4 it's patched
@@jimtodd8192 pssst don't make the developers aware of that lmao
@@jimtodd8192 whattttt?????? Lmao that's hilarious.
@@jimtodd8192imagine having to use glitches to beat this easy mode game
Pretty good changes. Some of these bosses had way too much health for 2 phases. Extra difficulty doesnt mean more fun
It wasn't even difficult so much as it was tedium.
The 1st phases were just essentially taxes to get to the real meat (phase 2) anyways since majority, if not all of them, aren't a challenge to begin with.
Not sure if asked but can we circle back to how you got soul edge sword from soul caliber and what looks like beserks armor?
This comes at the perfect time! I've been stuck on Romeo the past two days
The biggest buff they could do is to put the stargazers closer to boss rooms..
The star gazers are not even far from the bosses lol
@@YasuBlackstoneSure but if you gotta run through 5 mobs, a small wooden beam while dodging a swinging chandelier in flames it becomes kinda annoying
@@YasuBlackstone if you're talking about the stargazers on Laxasia or Simon, sure I agree but the rest of the bosses, no..
@@Maximo-Maximus it's one mob and if you get hit by the chandelier that's your problem
@@YasuBlackstone hahaha it was an example. The door guardian as well, easy boss fight but you have to run a mile and dodge like 10 mobs hahahaha
This sucks. I hope my game doesn't auto- update. I hate it when they nerf the game. I want to beat it in all of its glory.
I’m glad I beat it just before the update. Bc in all honesty I don’t think it’s as hard as a lot of people are saying. But it’s definitely hard.
Sadly the game difficulty is artificial, so is unfair some time.
I'm already beaten the game before this patche, but truly doesn't matter.
Damn, I was having such a headache beating the Archbishop yesterday.
Managed to do with the Big Pipe Wrench blade and the Police Baton.
Of course a nerf comes afterwards lmao.
I feel they only needed the fable arts and weight updates. I don’t feel like I tried those bosses too many times to beat them. I’m only just past king of the puppets, but none of the bosses took me over 6-10 tries. The mini bosses have given me a harder time. I also only upgraded my weapon past +3 after king of the puppets with minimal points into my damage stat. Most were in HP and Stamina.
It has a golden stargazer on the cemetery behind the path o pilgrim stargazer, how can I access it?
Love the video as always, where did you get that costume? It's awesome
I just want to say thank you I' ve been with you since nioh and I appreciate you. Be safe my friend
good update, just in time as well I am struggling with the second meeting with the black rabbit brotherhood
Good changes. Especially the butterfly hp nerf. They were tedious to kill especially the golden ones.
the swamp butterflies were so annoying because of this, welcomed nerf lol
Was really just hoping for them to change the parry window and thats it, but this is a start
This was very much needed
All around very amazing changes that will make the game feel more balanced and the capacity increase is the best!
Love that you can break some enemies stances easier now
slight buff to heavy weapons. the less slow ass charged r2s i have to do, the better.
When is the update going to be available, because I don’t see the option to install it
Im happy i beat it before nerfs, I thought the difficulty was already good enough since perfect parries makes the game easy already
i just got to like lv 40 capacity just to stay under 60% without a carry amulet. i wonder what my % will be after this
What's that armor set that you have on?? I can't find it anywhere
Ooh, wonder if lightweight is actually viable/possible now? (I know it was *possible* before but with an actual normal gear set up not the starter frame etc
Whats the go-to EZ mode build for Lies of P? I have Gamepass for 5 more days and didn't realise it was on there?
Googling says stack strength?
No, most strength builds suck in this game. Unless you follow a guide from start to finish to build the most damaging weapon, going for advance builds or technique builds are way better. Advance builds have elemental damage advantage against bosses and enemies while technique builds are quick and mobile, fitting for the game preferred playstyle.
It is not updating for me? I already hard reset and it doesn't pop up?
The parry fables are actually useful and will combo way better with other fables or moves now.
never used them until simon, almost none of my deflects were landing any other way and I 100%ed sekiro on xbox and playstation. the deflects in this game are just way too strict and stiff without using fable parries
Only thing I wanted to be changed is the distance between boss and checkpoint
I noticed the Perfect Guard window is still the size of a friggin dime despite all the posts I see that it needs to be expanded, preferably by 3 frames
I have been stuck on the green monster of the swamp second phase for the past 5 days. I just found out you could heal your phantom and managed to finally get him after that, last night, around 1 am. Tell me they didn’t update it and make everything easier a literally hour after my cbt session
They made the spectres tankier, but that particular boss wasn't nerfed (based on the patch notes).
Nice video very informative
