The oak would make great wainscoting. I saw in an antique shop that they built a wall to display iron ware with old weathered boards. Was that a bucket full of old glass insulators ? They have value too.
So Im thinking about lining the walls of my bathroom in the basement with the oak, hanging a lot of old antique hardware and tools and then taking the tin and putting it on the ceiling. I have crates and crates of old insulators. Our property is lined with railroad tracks and back in the day they just notched and dropped all the poles down the embankment on to our wooded property. As a kid I would ride around on the fourwheeler and colllect them not knowing they wear somewhat of a collectable.
