    I am about to start on my first WWI aircraft. You are a source of great ideas and inspiration. I hope mine turn out half as good as your brilliant finished build.

      @@FlyingCircusModels I do prefer full build videos done all in one episode, but please do what suits you, I am happy to watch what ever you do, wether it is in episodes or in one video, even though I am not a WWI aircraft builder, best regards from a New Zealander living in Australia, Les

      Thanks for your feedback Les, I think I'm going to do Full build videos, moving forward, on top of more detailed episodes.

    Another fabulous build - thanks for sharing all your fantastic work with really valuable tips throughout. Do you have preferred reference works for WW1 aircraft or just Internet searches to see what comes up?

      Thank you so much, Trevor. Usually my first place to search for the information about the new project is Windsock datafiles, also I like Osprey production books, and google search of course (as the last option)

    Nice build! How long did you wait for the oil paint to dry before applying clear coat? Doesn't it take like months to dry?

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  3 місяці тому

      Thank you for watching, about oils, it depends on the layer thickness, but usually 2-3 days

    Awesome video! I really like the full build video. I watch your videos while I'm working on my own builds. I'm currently working on the 1:32 Roden SE5a and the Eduard 1:72 Fokker E III.

      Thank you so much and good luck with your projects, I would like to see your completed SE5a. Would you mind to share the pictures or link to them in the comments?

    • @cv6014
      @cv6014 2 місяці тому

      @@FlyingCircusModelsl'll definitely share some pics when I get it finished. It may be a little while though. The SE5a has A LOT of fit issues. It's taking quite some time to fix them all.

      it's the part of the hobby and I know that Roden models are not so great some times, just take your time and try to have fun ;-)

    At about 39.01, what is the little gizmo you use to cut the brass tube's?
    Thank you

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  3 місяці тому

      I use a scalpel blade to cut them, but you can use a regular model knife as well. Just do not press to hard, otherwise you will bend the tube, you need to press and roll the tube

    • @RUSSELLNILES
      @RUSSELLNILES 3 місяці тому

      @@FlyingCircusModels yes, I know you use a scalpel, but what's that device that the brass tube is laying on?
      Thanks

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  3 місяці тому

      it's just a wooden coffee stick, that I use to cut tubes

    Would you consider releasing your videos without the annoying background music? I watch in order to learn to become a better modeler, not to be entertained.

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  3 місяці тому

      Thanks for the comment, Daniel. I find it's very odd to have a silence during the video, that's why I have a background music, and it's not too loud. You can mute the video and just disregard my voice, I try to show all steps, so they are self-explanatory and you do not have to listen to me ;-)

      @@FlyingCircusModels Thank you for your considerate response. I'd still prefer to hear what you have to say rather than watching the video in silence, but it's your channel. Beautiful build, by the way.
