When precision presents extreme challenges and you know you can handle it think of investing in Zoukie Mura SWS you can't get any kits any more Harder than Zoukie Mura.. They are the pride and joy of my displays and overall massive collection and stash.
It takes me so much attention and time to finish anything by SWS .My personal preferences are 1/32 scale aircraft kits military 🪖 figures and much larger scales 1/ 18 and 1/24 . Same with Armor and ships . I will never say I won't do anything else, I will! To make a kit better, kit bash with a similar kit especially Messerschmidts , Revell Hasegawa and Tamiya with Trumpeter. It' definitely nothing short of a Hollywood makeover for the kit or more now for some serious glamor shots. It could make your finished model a 🌟. Front page of your favorite model magazines . A real glamor puss!
Great job. Just some color comments. Internal fuselage color and wheel wells were rlm 02 gray. Cockpit was german black/grey. Fuselage mottling was the same, but had a rlm light blue overspray applied, before insignia was applied. Hartmanns leather jacket was black, not brown. Other than that, outstanding work.
Indeed I wasn´t very true to the original regarding the shade of color inside. I mixed some of those colors by myself. And yes, paritcularly the instrument panel is too bright. But as far as the leather jacket is concerned I followed the picture on the Zoukei-Mura box. And there the jacket ist dark brown. Maybe Erich´s no.1 jacket was in the laundry that day...
@@puerludensDon't worry, in the chaoting and closing months of ww2, things did not more roll so strictly as were in 1941. When you ordered paint cans of RLM 02, only sure thing was that you got your paint, which was some kind of paint! Instead of RLM 02 you could possibly get even submarine interior grey paint! And its shade was anything, what depots Feldwebel could get in his hands. Grey - eine Hauptsache = main point.
Erich Hartman only flew this pedal paint job for a very short time. The Russians stayed away from him when they saw it. He didn't get kills after this. At first he gave it to novice pilots which protected them but the whole squadron was avoided by the Russians. It had to go.
Excellent build of an amazing model, but my question at the end is why? Details that you will never see, such as the internals of the engine. It seems crazy to go to the trouble of making and painting these parts except perhaps as a gift to the modeler. Anyway, I enjoyed you build and congratulations on how you executed it.
Thanks a lot! I asked the same question. And yes, You are right - it´s a gift to the modeler. It´s real fun, and of course interesting, to see as many details as possible during the build (and Zoukei-Mura names most of them in the manual!). But I have to admit I wasn´t that accurate when painting the never seen again parts of the interior. And I ditn´t paint the pistons. That would have been too much fun.
Amazing build, I am glad you have not gone down the silly road I see others on the censorship on the Swastika

Fantastic build. With all that detail, you should have put fuel lines on the drop tank.
That’s superb.
Fantastic job.
Nice work
