Voicetyping requirements
These were my requirements when creating the voicetyping feature for Bohemicus:
1) No headset. I don’t want to be wearing any headset when dictating my texts.
2) Control the voicetyping/listening process completely from my PC keyboard. I don’t want to fiddle with my mobile phone in any way while dictating, I just want the phone to sit quietly next to my computer, and I want to control it from my PC keyboard
3) Seamless integration and work. I just want to place my cursor into MS Word (or any other text editing application), press a keyboard shortcut on my PC keyboard, and start dictating. I want the converted text to appear in MS Word without any further interaction.
How it works
The voicetyping process in Bohemicus is based on the interaction between the Google speechrecognizer in my Android phone and Bohemicus running in my PC. The mobile phone and PC are connected through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
