Jeez, Sanne's Hindorff is so high. I understand why she was able to do a clear hip Nabieva 1/2 now, want her to bring that back!
Filipa Martins from Portugal, her Hindorff is so clean!! she should bring it back to
Derwael said in an interview it isn't her goal and knows she won't retain her title! She's just very happy to be back after her injury and to have qualified to the olympics!
Love watching these videos!!
Great to see Nina training bars again! Hope Jade has a great comeback competition!
She did! Won floor and vault and second on bars and 3rd on beam,I think, and won the All around. She also wasn't throwing all her harder skills in yet! I think she will be fine in trials!
That Hindorfd was so gorgeous 😮
Jade needs to regain her stamina so that she can do a 6.3+ floor routine, but realistically it's hard.
This is a bars quad, but other girls like Kaylia have more difficulties with 15.3+ consistency. Nina can retain her two-pass queen title tho.
I agree with what you said, I hope Jade can really get those upgrades on as well as Nina medaling in the Bar Final, it'd be so cool!
@@jhere289 I hope so too. She has a new pass according to Brain Carey.
@@cocoroni1031 That's great! Where'd u hear that from?!
@@jhere289 NCAA interview. She's training a new pass, Amanar and Cheng. My guess is front full combo.
@@cocoroni1031where can I find this interview?
I want to see ALL these skills in their routine come Paris. I want every event to be heavily contested.
Sanne’s hindorff is so high!
Nina training with a giant picture of her in the background is ultimate flex!!!!!
It's possible for Jade but unlikely, although she can still end up on the podium. Same goes for vault, she can medal there. Same goes for Nina, I think her main competitor on bars now is Kaylia Nemour. I think Nina can definitely medal on bars, but getting gold depends on whether Kaylia hits. In any event, gold is never guaranteed. Anything goes. On game day you need skills as well as luck on your side. Wishing these girls a wonderful Olympic experience.
Qiu is also Nina's competition since she has a 7.0 sv if I'm not mistaken and has been very consistent recently. Bars competition will be tough this year but if Nina is able to regain enough of her skills, she could still have a chance if she has her Tokyo difficulty tweaked since they're not going to credit her nabieva half(which i find odd because they credit nemour's half turn release even though it's mixed grip)
@@murasakino101 Yes, agreed. Qiu and Kaylia are ones to beat. Let's see what Nina has up her sleeve.
Re: Jade, not unless her floor is in much much better shape than it was last year, not with the large amounts of artistry deductions she's getting, and either way probably not if Simone competes
She's been doing great in the NCAA! She also brought home the gold along with her partner at the Swiss Cup!
Jade scores Internationally last year was a 13.0 on floor, 13.2 on Bars, and 13.7 on vault. I absolutely think Jade will have a high difficulty on floor but if Simone is getting (2) points off in deductions in this COP you can imagine the amount of deductions they will still take off for Jade. (With (6) possible Chengs coming to Trials and definitely 3 of those could add to multiple events) I definitely think the top 5 gymnasts will be scoring a 14.5-14.8 on at least one event and will have multiple 14+ on at least 2 or more events.
Elie seitz did not have an acl injury she tore her achiles
Can Jade retain her Olympic title? No. Not with Simone competing. But her floor is better than anyone else the US has outside of Simone. Her vault is also better than everyone else the US has, again, except for Simone.
Rebeca's Cheng VT is the absolute best!!!!
@@darkmatter5940 right but I'm referring to the US team only. Rebecca is a queen, everyone knows it.
What's going on with Nina's feet when she's doing the stalder? There's some black fluttery thing(s).
Maybe she's holding bits of cloth with her toes to practice keeping them pointed? Just a guess.
@@jeburr24nice observation
NINA POINTING HER TOES WTF IS HAPPENING
I fear neither Nina nor Jade will even medal at these Olympic, many others are the frontrunners
I love Jade but her AA might keep her off the team, USAG has said they do not want to deviate from the top 5 AA at trials because the coaches last quad voted for this and everyone thinks it is the fairest regardless if strategy is important. I'd say your top 5 AA at trials is your Olympic team. I don't get the Nina dislike, she has gotten better with pointing her toes, I don't think they will credit her Derweal 1.
US team doesn't use top 5 AA as criteria. There is always a VT / FX spot.
@@cocoroni1031 Now going to write this. It would be an absolutely STUPID criteria to adopt and hold to if they ever did.
I think that was a Tom Forster strategy that did not work out for anyone and probably why he got the boot. Alicia Sacramone is on the selection committee and she herself was not an all-arounder and was selected to teams based on her high scoring vault. I'm sure she'll follow suit.
@@duranca don't ha*e the messenger, if they choose the top 5 aa which they will unless simone is not there for some reason. Alicia said they do not want to deviate too much from AA order. Chelsie said the person would have to be amazing on 2 events, like the best in the country. I think picking based on AA is dum* but I am confident about this. Team will be simone shi, skye, dicello and??
@@cocoroni1031 You are talking about Martha who I think should still choose the team jk. The Gabby being 7th and being taken (which was absolutely correct) was such bad publicity for USAG. The coaches all voted again this quad for aa rank order bc its very specific what they need to do. Maybe they will take number 6 and make 5 as an alternate but don't expect much room due to that 2016 controversey.
Praying jades at Paris, she so deserves to be there.
With Simone Biles back at 100%; IDK.
We all know the answer to that one. 😂
Wait, what Olympic title does Carey have? As far as I remember, Tokyo FX podium was Ferrari with gold and Melnikova and Murakami tied with silver. 😂
It was Jade (Gold), Vanessa (Silver), Mai & Gelya (shared Bronze).
@@duranca nope, I'm pretty sure there were no Jade on podium.
@@pedrojorge1912 She was on it for sure. gold medal and all.
@@duranca sarcasm, for God's sake!
@@maxvillareal9654 Why are you so triggered by a comment made to someone else? I was not disrespectful. No need to bring the lord's name into it.
In gymnastics, athletes wear (gym clothes). These russian athletes like wearing fleece/gear.
They changed the code of points to stop Jade from winning. Unless she has drastically changed her dancing ability and Simone doesn’t compete then no. She won’t be maintaining her title.
Sanne Wevers need to stop working on her bars... she's gonna fall 75% of the time anyway
That's how I feel about Skye on beam lol
@@omglauraelizabeth I know, there's no need for upgrades, just do what you're doing without falling off the dayum beam.
0:28 okay, but how cool does that jump to mixed grip look?? I love it even though it is for practice 😭🤍
