My husband was at the nine-o-clock cannon (pre-cage) (early '60's) when someone packed it full of rocks and shot a hole through the floating gas station sign. ha ha Thanks for your videos! Love the memories you evoke of living on the coast '62 - '91
I just saw ogre reflection
There's not many UA-camrs I get excited over but you are definitely one of them!
Cheers from New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦
Awesome! Thanks again Matthew!
Shrek 😉
SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME....
I got distracted last weekend, so just watched this now. I did an 8 mile walk last weekend, and you did way more than that. Holy mackerel! Of course your feet hurt!
When we had part of a day in Vancouver, our group split and I went to Lynn Canyon & missed Stanley Park. I think I need to go back.
Great video!!
Lynn Canyon is also fantastic
@@DownieLive It was totally worth it! Just wish I had time to do both / more. We did get to Dr. Sun Yat Sen's garden too which was lovley!
shrek
Didn't know he worked there 😂
Lol I was confused when I saw shreks reflection 😂😂😂
Outstanding video! From my point of view it was well worth 39,000 plus steps and a few blisters!
Phew! Thanks Tim!
Great video! We walked around Stanley Park, West End, Davie Village, Gastown, False Creek this past Saturday for 20 miles in total. Vancouver is definitely one of the most walkable cities in North America!
Very cool!
You make me feel soooo nostalgic. Lived around the Lower Mainland for 12 years and am now north of Toronto. Man I miss Vancouver! Thanks for this walk down memory lane.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Sir for documenting the newer portion of the seawall from kitsilano beach onwards. I left Vancouver before that portion was open and I always wondered what it looked like!
I used to live close enough to hear that cannon for 4 years. It goes off at 8:59 and you can’t convince me otherwise!
Nice video! Great editing and really shows off our beautiful city. Hope the blisters are all healed!
They are! Thank you!
Beautiful video and I was glad to call Vancouver my home but now I’m super proud to call it home. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
I love this sea wall in Vancouver. It’s so beautiful and peaceful.
Love your videos! Always informative, interesting and entertaining. Thanks so much for sharing. As a Vancouverite, it’s great to see my backyard through other people’s eyes.
Hey Michael, thanks for the long walk talk foot blisters of a great time of a wonderful part of Vancouver.
I'm impressed Mike. Great walking tour and your poor feet. I have lived here my whole life and didn't even realize it was that long of an uninterrupted path. Vancouver on a sunny day is like nowhere else. Thanks for the video and sharing your day.
Glad you enjoyed it
I haven’t been to Vancouver in 15 years and man, I miss it so much.
Respect mike. Doing it for the good of the channel , blisters and all
Mike, your channel is great. Can spend allot of time diving down this rabbit hole. Educational and fun. Thank you.
Wow this video is so informative! You have shown so many details that I, a 20-year Vancouverite, have never known! Thank you so very much for such a great job!:)
Truly thankful for the tour video which is fantastic! Today I chose Nine O'clock Gun as my starting point after watching this video and then I walked around the park on the seawall to the Lions Gate Bridge. The view is insanely divine tbh. My camera had never been so full of sensational pictures until today!
Yay! So happy to hear that!
Sorry about the blisters, but what a beautiful walk! Thanks for taking us along!
