Here with thanks to "Messy Marvin" and very grateful to have found you! A whole new insight into using brushes to assist in controlling both composition and ink flow. I just love the addition of the sprays of ISO! I've seen it before but it was always added at the end of the piece rather than during which resulted in an uncontrolled spray whereas yours .... c'est magnifique! Please keep posting more vids :))

This is Beautiful …So classy & elegant!!!
I would Love to know how to use and be even slightly successful with inks ..
Inks and Resin are EXTREMELY intimidating to me …so much that I’ve not even tired either one .. Arghhh
This piece would be such an honor to own …my gosh it’s Amazing
I could rave on and on about it
It is fabulous one of my top five pieces I’ve ever seen. I love this.

Wow thank you, I'm so flattered! I put resin off for so long, and now i kick myself for waiting so long! I currently only use it for clear-coating my work, but it's not as scary as i convinced myself that it was! Just dive in- i promise you that i sucked at first like everyone else 😉😂 You just have to start, and it gets better from there 💖

That is so beautiful ! You are so graceful while ousting your inks in the canvas. I'm more of an elephant in a glass studio.

This piece is stunning. I’m, as of today, new to your channel and now a subscriber. I loved your control of the alcohol inks and this technique fascinates me. Looking forward to watching more of you creating your beautiful artwork. Good luck at PourCon, hope you and all the artists and attendees have a blast!

Thanks for posting this fabulous tutorial! I’m just getting ready to leap into alcohol inks and your modeling is super helpful! I noticed that at 9:53 a lightened area on a diagonal to the left just appeared, did you blow that out with just alcohol or wipe it off? It’s a beautiful part of the piece!

Thank you for the encouraging feedback! At the timestamp, the change you saw was a section that i had altered, but my recording was playing up. I had no memory on my phone, and it kept shutting off recording every couple of minutes. (At the time, i had no idea what was happening and was getting a little bit crazy about it 😅)
I didn't wipe it away, I reactivated the inks and pushed the puddle back onto itself towards the lower diagonal. This was done on nara paper which is non-staining, so when the inks get pushed back onto themselves, it leaves a clearer fade channel. Hope that helps! 🥰

    You are f***ing awesome!!
Sorry, but it had to be said! Lol
Thank you Lisa Marvin, for giving Bree a little (lol) nudge, to start this channel. The control you have over this piece, is nothing short of brilliant! Thank you for allowing us to witness this inspirational piece coming to life.

Lisa knew I needed the nudge (ahem... shove 🤣) She did it from a loving place, and for that i will be forever grateful 🥰

Ooo good question! It was a few months back, but I'm pretty sure it was Mushroom by Ranger, Pinata brass, and probably one of the black inks from copic 😄

Not at this stage, Deborah 😔 but it's on my agenda! I want to see how I go at PourCon and take it from there. It'll be good to reflect on what i learn doing those classes, and fine-tune the things that may currently be in my blind spots 💖
